Mac is family. There is just something about Mac that is different than any other studio we see out there. My kids have danced for (and with) Teresa for 6 and 4 years respectively. They have competed on local and regional levels with this studio. She and her teachers work extremely hard to teach, engage and motivate every dancer to what their big goal is. The dancers and the families love each other, cheer for each other and are always in every dancers corner no matter what. My daughter has been dancing at Mac for a few years now. MacConmara is filled with amazing teachers, parents, kids and opportunities. One of the best things about this studio is how natural it is to feel like a family. We absolutely love MacConmara Academy of Irish Dance. Our oldest daughter started in 2014, and since then all of our 5 daughters have fallen in love with Irish dance. Our oldest is retired now, but the other 4 continue on. MacConmara has amazing teachers and an outstanding, supportive environment!

Our children have been dancing at MacConmara for the last 5 years, and we couldn’t be happier. At this point it’s basically our home away from home. The instructors are wonderful with the kids and make Irish dancing fun!! My oldest daughter has learned SO much and has gotten tons of support from her teachers; at class, at competitions and just in life. The skills these kids learn are unbelievable. They’re taught good sportsmanship, how to win and lose with grace as well as how to be supportive of their fellow classmates. Teresa has done a fine job of creating a positive environment for all the dancers to grow and develop. We joined the Mac family a year and a half ago, and we are all just so happy to be there. Everyone, from the teachers to the families, are amazing. Even though students may be in competition, they are so very encouraging and are always pulling for each other. There are no dance moms, and we all want the best for every dancer. As for the teaching - my daughter has been challenged (always kindly) and she has learned so much and grown so much as a dancer. I highly recommend MacConmara Academy!

My grand daughter dances.with this school and I have been to many competitions and her classes and one thing I get when I go is the feeling of family. Teresa celebrates with them and cheers them on from the sidelines. The parents have made life long friends with the other parents. Its definitely a sense of community. I’ve been dancing for the owner and head teacher, Teresa Buck for 14 years. I followed her when she created her own dance academy and it was honestly the best thing I could ever do. Teresa loves and cares about each and every one of her students so much. She wasn’t just my dance teacher, she was a genuine friend. Teresa helped me grow so much as a dancer, thanks to her I was able to qualify for the Irish Dance World Championships twice, and I was able to retire knowing I achieved everything I wanted to, all thanks to Teresa Buck.

Teresa Buck has been my Irish dance teacher for many years and now I teach for her at The MacConmara Academy of Irish Dance. Through the years, Teresa has pushed me to be he best dancer I could be and helped me get to the National Championships. She has so much passion for this studio and for all her dancers. I deeply appreciate all she has done for me, not only as a dancer, but as a person.

The owner and teacher, teresa buck, is a tyrant. She holds grudges against the kids and ultimately will take out her temper on them if shes upset with the parents. Youll be a slave to her constant mood swings and demands if you let your child attend this school. She texts your kids during their school day with drama. Steer clear!!
