I gave this 1 star because 0 stars was not an option. We hired First Student Akron for a trip we took and our experience from start to finish was TERRIBLE. It took several phone calls to even get ahold of someone. We booked the trip but I asked for a confirmation and cost estimate to be sent to me immediately. I received nothing. I called back 2 other times asking for the same thing and still received nothing. So going in to the trip I had no idea the cost. I am ashamed that I didnt cancel right there but at this point we were a few days away from the trip. I let both bus drives (who were very nice) know that I had expected SOME kind of paper work. They both said they didnt deal with billing but would mention it. I called the week after our trip, again leaving a message and not getting any response. A bill arrived in the mail - DOUBLE what I was expecting. I called to discuss it. Of course got a voicemail. No on returned my call. A second bill arrived. Again I called. Again voicemail. Again no returned call. Then I started receiving late bills. I FINALLY got a hold of someone who DID NOT EVEN ACKNOWLEDGE their lack of communication. The only thing she apologized for was that I felt that way. Uhhh thanks but you dont need to apologize for my feelings. You should apologize for your poor business. 0/10 WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!!!
