Ive put two kids through Lunas, the second is about to graduate. Mrs. Abby has created a safe and nurturing space for children to learn and play. She has developed a wonderful sense of community through child performances, family potlucks, dad nights (moms get one too) and parent observations. The best pre-K child care and learning facility on the island. Thank you Mrs Abby for all of your guidance and support with our children. Id give it 10 stars if I could!

We’ve had such a wonderful experience at Luna’s Montessori School over the past 5 years as both our children have learned to be engaged, passionate learners and amazing little humans. My older son started there at age 3 and my daughter started at age 2. These teachers really get to know and understand the kids, and they encourage them to forge their own learning path. It is organized and clean, and amazingly quiet during work period, and the kids thrive in this environment. The kids are encouraged to be creative and collaborate and communicate with each other. The projects are changed as the students seek more challenges. My daughter is graduating and heading to Kinder next year, and our family will be sad to leave such a supportive community we’ve really grown to love and respect as part of our extended family. Do you want your child to learn in an environment where all the other children come from wealthy families? Where they are taught its fine to take a handycap spot as long as youre rich! Look no further! After all who cares if a disabled old man has to park so far away he needs to call a neighbor for help getting home. Its not like he had to petition the city for a handicap spot because of this daycare or anything.

Every day around pickup time a bunch of parents come in their big cars and block the sidewalk, take all the parking spaces, and impede traffic down the one way street. I LOVE IT!
