Now with everything going on I was wondering how they would have drivers ed online? It didnt seem like something that would work but these guys did a great job adapting to online. (Better than APS). Manny made online learning fun for my son. They are super quick and the least expensive. Really worth the money!

Paid and never received the link. Don’t waste your money or time. Judge noticed and emailed provided showing attempts to get link. Judge acknowledged and allowed a different school. Claims made by owner that they have proof of several attempts to email me the link are incorrect. Poor customer service and obvious why the court removed them as a suggested school.

Great experience, glad classes were able to continue even though in-person instruction was unavailable. Would definitely recommend.

My son finishes the class soon, I NEVER write reviews but I have to for this Driving school. My son has a learning disability and I thought he would fall behind or not do well in drivers ed. However, this school has helped him with everything every step of the way!! The instructor manny really cares about each student and has no problem answering my million questions and being super kind and understanding to my son and his situation. Thank you guys for being the absolute best, I would give 100 stars if I could.

Me and my friends attended OLD School together and got done quicker than a lot of my other friends who went to different places. It was cool to actually have the teacher interested in teaching instead of just posting all kinds of work. I had to pay for drivers ed myself and this was the best price in town.

I had my daughter attend the virtual drivers ed class. Instructor Manny was very informative and detailed. Very friendly and professional. She is now a very but not over confident driver thanks to this school.

Ive been trying to get hold of Old school driving and its impossible to have the business and instructor call you back.

If I could give this place no stars I would!!!! This is one of the worst places Ive ever dealt with. Rude when they answer, VM is full when they dont . Late to appointments for road test, not even a call to let you know as if you have time to sit around waiting for them! And to top it off this is the SECOND time I pay for road test best it was not recorded with MVD. Total waste of time and money.

My name is victoria valdez and i was recently a student at old school of driving. not only did they manage the pandemic very well and were great at communicating, they also were very kind and understanding. the owner alfredo is such a kind man, and my instructor, manny ramirez, is a great instructor and also very kind. i would highly recommend this for anybody looking for a drivers school.

The owner is very rude and unprofessional. If I could give no stars I would. He basically called me a liar. I was told something by an instructor and I let the owner know what he told me and the owner said that doesnt sound correct I then tell him yes thats what your instructor told me and he said I must not have understood. I cant believe him. He got very upset and said that I was getting angry. 🤨 Then he said he was going to hang up on me. I said wait a minute. Youre telling me youre not going to help me after all the money I spent there. He then yells at me and says well if you want me to tell you then you need to stop talking. What a jerk!! Do not, I repeat, DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!

Manny is a reallly good teacher I learned a lot and he made it easy to learn and when I went to go take permit test it was a easy process and everyone is so nice there! ~ Jacquelyn P.

Very professional and helpful with all my daughters needs transferred from Virginia to El Paso than New Mexico and they they were able to get everything in order for her to get her license and helped her driving experience become less stressful. Thanks old school

Very rude!! The owner (Alfredo) is the most sarcastic and cockiest person Ive known. He’s rude and expects students to know everything. Definitely a waste of money. Alfredo will just leave students and be on his phone for about 5-10 min every session. Doesn’t teach students how they should be. He is very disrespectful to students would not recommend. Also he writes his own reviews, I looked and 2 of the emails he uses for sending emails for his business.

So much patience and great value. They took they’re time on me while I had ptsd about driving and not only was my instructors but became my friends. Definitely recommend ! :)

Horrible Service, paid for two sons to go here. I got in an argument because he left my sons hanging twice in the dark and never showed up to do drive time. And because the man is unprofessional he did not pass them on their testI reached out several times and not once did he respond. He would hang up if I called from another number. would never recommend this place to anyone. wasted $600. I seriously to not see how they are still in business.

They have really helped my daughter improve in her driving (Thank God), and I now feel safe getting in the car with her! Always very helpful and got us done really fast!

After taking my classes at the school, I can overall say that it was a great experience and that I was able to learn a lot. I went in as a beginner and now I am very confident in my driving; everyone there was very nice and it gave the experience an even better feel. Thanks to the Old School of Driving I can now fully say that I am very confident in how I drive, how I see the roads, and how to know when I am in a safe situation or not. Amazing school and would recommend it to anyone.

The experience was overall average. The course was very short and easy although the staff was very unorganized. Every week there would have been a generally short lesson, but the teachers would often forget topics that they were supposed to teach about, or talk about something completely unrelated. During the driving tests I was given an instructor who was somewhat aggresive, they repeatedly went on their phone and constantly raised their voice at me for minor mistakes, but after reading the other reviews I saw that the instructors were fairly nice and on task. I guess you would just have a chance to get a good or bad class.

The school has a very comfortable and welcoming feel to it. I have learned a lot about driving and improved techniques. The instructors are very nice and supportive. Theres a lot of help when its needed and the instructors always worked with me. I am happy i attended this amazing school!!

THE WORST OF THE WORST! The most unprofessional people I have ever deal with. They set up schedules and don’t even show up or call you to let you know. They never respond our phone calls. now Is been almost a full month without communication,” they have failed /or refused to respond my phone calls” talked to owner (Manny) two weeks ago IN PERSON (because they didn’t respond or return any of my calls) he promised me they will set up an schedule for last Monday, as to date we still waiting. Wish I could make a lower score. Pass this place if you have special needs of any sort.I paid for private lessons for my special needs adult. Took concerted effort to convince her to take driving lessons. She also had a job and needed adaptive scheduling for her lessons.She has had adaptive scheduling and thats it. In fact the very first day they were trying to force her to take the written test. She is very capable with written tests but even she was disconcerted. She needs the private lessons! She was placed in a class from day one. Never had a single lesson in private. The assigned vehicular instructor never did the lessons. She is technically not done with her lessons but refuses to go back. I am also having trouble getting her to drive at all.Thanks so much 😬. I could have saved myself time and 450 bucks and just let her be.Additionally note that the owner is still quite rude and disorganized. There are no standard vehicles available if you need the training. In fact the only vehicle they have is a horrid little sports car with very little space available for taller drivers.

Like many other customers, I would give ZERO stars if I could.Please save yourself money and frustration by avoiding Old School of Driving. The owner, Alfredo Saenz, is very unprofessional, rude, and disorganized. They were often late, did not cover the course material, and did not communicate clearly with parents or students.I attempted to speak with him to schedule driving time for my daughter who is in their drivers ed class and immediately he was confrontational and intimidating. He sent my daughter home crying from class more than once. He got in my face and attempted to intimidate me physically. He insulted my daughter when we tried to talk and merely schedule time to drive. His attitude and lack of customer service is appalling. They should lose their certification given the experience they are giving students and parents. I am going to fight any charges on my credit card because they do not provide the services we paid for and then they tried to intimidate and blame the customer.

We wasted our money sending our child there. They expect the parents to teach the kids to drive before they teach them anything. Expecting a kid to get their 7 hours of driving time from the driving school within 6 months is ridiculous.

If I could give 0 stars i would first of all I had to attend this school for Drivers improvement school due to a traffic violation I called 2 hours before I had to go in I believe I spoke with the owner of which was very rude than hung up on me. Once I got there it was very disorganized our instructor was a man named Mike who also was very rude and he yelled and snapped at everyone for every little thing it was a very uncomfortable experience he made it a point to belittle everyone in the room. I only had to spend $27 for a court ordered certificate thank God! If you are a future student or parent of a child that needs to attend Drivers Ed DO NOT GO HERE!! you will hate it your child will feel unsafe and uncomfortable save your money and go to a more reputable establishment.

Went to take a road test and written test. Afterwards I was treated very professional. Answered all my questions regarding proper steps to get my drivers license renew with the new real id act.

I attended class hear and I loved it. They are very Professional and take the time to really show us the safety of driving.

The program was so great, very understanding and well communicating staff. As well as very easy to contact!

The instructors are very nice and honest they dont sugar coat and tell you things you want to hear they tell you imprtant need to know stuff so you can learn they are very helpful and very patient... I wasted so much time here this place has to be the most disorganized company ever as well every employee there is rude and ANGRY got yelled at by the instructor Mike he in which has a very short fuse and the owner is also very hot headed all in all this is a very uncomfortable place to be especially more so if you intend on paying over $300 for your child for driving school employees make sure to belittle you as much as possible do not do this to your child take them somewhere else!

This school does a good job on making sure your in and out, doing everything and needing to learn. They make sure you know everything you need to know before they let you on the road.

It was a really thorough course, be prepared to know your traffic signs, I suggest going if you really want to know traffic signs and proper defensive driving.

I just had to write a review after seeing some of the comments. Most of the bad reviews are complaints from people (or girlfriends) of people who are upset they had to take responsibility for their bad choices. Its funny how people blame others because they are embarrassed the court ordered them to be a better driver. No wonder NM has so many accidents, the people responsible cant own it. I took Alfredo Saenzs class and I think the adults are worse than the kids. I think professionalism cant be understood by those who are uneducated.

Yesterday, as I was at OLD School of Driving, I witnessed an altercation between ROBERT BENAVIDEZ, his child, and the instructor(see review below) where a parent and child were arguing about staying in their lane while driving. The parent started yelling at the kid, then at the instructor about scheduling driving time. I will applaud the instructor for not physically throwing this guy out because he kept yelling and demanding time, but denied every time offered to him. He kept arguing with his kid and yelling that she had been in the class six weeks and not driven which is not true since she just got her permit at the same time as my niece whom was in the class last week! I dont agree with everything the instructor does, but he wasnt being unreasonable and offered time but this guys kid couldnt make it because of a complex schedule, he physically threatened the instructor and told him it would not end well if things got physical! Sorry, but this parent was acting crazy and yelling at the top of his lungs and refused to listen to anything. I cannot believe he will post about his perception of things but as a witness I now understand why some kids act and carry themselves in a manner that they do because they are a direct reflection of their parents, lead by example and please try not arguing with your kids and then release your frustration on another person because the instructor was not to blame for this. How can you argue about driving time, when you were offered several options between early morning to evening, and not one was good enough?
