My son made great improvement and falls love in music since he started piano lesson with Ms. Tantyana 6 years ago. I would say this is one of the best choices I have ever made. Ms. Tantyana is not only a fantastic piano instructor but also a great mentor! No words can express my appreciation! The front desk lady is very nice and helpful. I would highly recommend this music institute to everyone!

I would like to thank for the administrative team. They responded my emails in a very professional and timely manner. They’re also very accommodating with my schedules. They practice very good safety protocols during the pandemic and also give parents the option to watch the piano lesson via Zoom. Great places to bring your little one for the piano class.

I have extreme anxiety, and when I started voice and piano here I had VERY LITTLE self-confidence. I was convinced I was never going to end up comfortable enough to be able to focus on learning. Boy, was I wrong. Tuesdays and Thursdays are now my favorite days of the week because I get to be at the institute.Ive had awful educational experiences my whole life. I can honestly say that Mariana is one of maybe three teachers Ive ever had that made me feel like Im doing something right. This school teaches self-confidence along with skill, and everyone staffed there (that Ive met, which is almost everyone) are amazing. All I can say is thank you, and I recommend this place highly to both children and adults looking to learn a skill in a way tailored to their needs and need to be with teachers that make them comfortable.

I have found this place through a friend who takes her child here from very long time. It’s been more than 3 months that my daughter is going here and I am already seeing so much enthusiasm in her to learn and practice Piano everyday. Highly recommend this place and happy to be going there!

Great piano instructor, fun to work with. The problem is the business itself. Not accommodating by any means, not willing to work around your schedule. Talking to the receptionist is difficult as her only focus is money rather than your experience. Due to this I will not be returning.

I am an adult learner who was extremely nervous about learning to play an instrument so late in life. I found Albuquerque Institute of Music and took a trial lesson before signing up for lessons that I was scared to commit to. Everyone was so friendly! My first lesson started with me walking into the school shaking with nervousness, but leaving with confidence and enthusiasm, and I immediately scheduled for more lessons. My instructor is very warm and patient, and I would suggest anyone who wants a wonderful musical learning experience to give Albuquerque Institute of Music a try.

One of the best music institutes in Albuquerque! Ms. Tatyana is one of the best piano teachers that you can find throughout US. She is very knowledgeable and nice to kids. My daughter made a big improvement after studying from her. I highly recommend it to everyone without any hesitation!!!

Albuquerque Institute of Music is a great way to introduce music to my 7 year old son! He is learning the drums and his teacher, Javier, is doing a great job making learning fun and engaging. We love Albuquerque Institute of Music!!

After our beloved piano teacher of 5+ years retired for health reasons, I was on the search for a good piano teacher for my two kids ages (now) 14 and 11.After visiting and talking with at least 10 different teachers and studios we found the ALBQ Institute of music!My kids have been taking lessons here for almost 2 years and this studio offers the newest, state-of-the-art baby grand and upright pianos for the kids to learn on. The studio offers flexible schedules with make-up times for missed classes. They have recitals and offer theory classes and occasional special workshops to help the students improve their talent. There is even opportunity to earn college credit!The students can choose to participate in competitions and be critiqued by other professionals in the industry.My kids get to help choose the pieces they play and teachers Lidiya and Tatayna are always positive and encouraging. My kids really enjoy these teachers and are always challenged.Its obvious to me that the teachers at this studio are passionate about music and really care for each and every students success!The studio itself is located close to NE heights schools and the location provides security features which also provide piece of mind when students are at their lessons.In the 8+ years that my two kids have been taking piano lessons we went through quite a lot of teachers since our first one retired and we are extremely happy with the ALBQ Institute of Music!We have already referred other families here and we will continue to refer Many More!
