Cornerstone has been a great place for our kids to learn and grow. The staff is friendly and greets everyone by name. The classrooms are clean and inviting. The teacher turnover rate is low, which is great. The kids love their teachers and have made great friends. We have had an excellent experience at Cornerstone and highly recommend it!

We enrolled my daughter at Cornerstone when she was 18 months old. Shed never had any experience with school before so we wanted to make sure shed be loved and taken care of and given the best opportunity to grow. After looking at several other schools and never feeling like they were a good fit, we walked in the door of Cornerstone and immitiately felt at home. My daughter thrived there, I could see her blossoming and coming out of her shell and she was so excited to be learning new things. She, my husband and I loved all of her teachers and any other staff we met there. Later, the opportunity arose for me to work there and I loved the idea of being close to her and sharing the same schedule. Ive always felt like family there so it was a great fit. Its a wonderful nurturing and supportive environment not only for the children but also the staff as well. As a parent and as an employee theyve always gone out of their way to address any concerns I have had either about my daughters education or my position there. They really do everything they can to offer the best chance at success and personal growth for all the children as well as the teachers and staff. My daughter is 4 now and already talking about wanting to stay at Cornerstone instead of going to the big school (elementary) in our neighborhood. I know she will miss her Cornerstone friends and family, but I also know theyve given her the best building blocks to succeed in the future.

The first impression of cornerstone school is great! Very nice and clean facility . The staff and owners are very pleasant . But as soon as you enroll your child in this school you will see the entire picture . First of all:1. Teachers constantly changing. Parents are not notified about the changes. Very limited communication between school and parents, except for constant fundraising.2. Cornerstone school has a swimming pool , and they had an offer to pay in advance for 3 months , and get 1 month free. After the first two weeks the swimming teacher resigned , and they did not have a permanent teacher for several months . They had one substitute teacher , but she told me that kids are having diarrhea , so no swimming classes. My understanding is that if kids have diarrhea they are not supposed to be in daycare in the first place. On multiple occasions swimming lessons were cancelled. Our child was still unable to swim after we pulled him from the school.3 . School lunch was not very nutritious , so we started bringing our own lunch , but the teachers constantly forgot to take it to our child . Whenever I asked, the response usually was Oh, I completely forgot, so my child was coming back home hungry and very upset.4. For 3 months our progress folder was not completed.5. We had very limited progress with our childs education at this school.

The immediate positive change I have seen in my children since switching to Cornerstone is amazing. They are happier every day going to school and even more well behaved at home. I am so thankful for the loving teachers and great curriculum. I cannot say enough good things about this school!

The cornerstone team is amazing! They truly care about the students and are there for them when needed. Everyone is extremely friendly and they all know the students by name. My children have been attending for 5 years and they both love going there.

This SCHOOL ...ROCKS!The children and even the parents have Fun learning here and are well supervised every minute of the school day.The owners and staff care for your children as if they were their own.So, school year has started, so dont waste another minute...get your children enrolled TODAY...the little ones will even learn how to safely swim in the indoor heated pool.

After touring approximately 15 childcare centers in the Plano/Allen/McKinney area, I was immediately sure Cornerstone was the best place for my son when I toured the school. My son has attended Cornerstone since he was 12 weeks old and I have never felt worried to leave him with the staff at Cornerstone. As an early childhood educator, I was fairly picky about the place I would be leaving my son each day while I was at work. Cornerstone had the nicest facility and best quality teachers of all of the places I toured. My husband and I enrolled my son immediately after seeing the school and meeting the staff. We were also encouraged to learn that many students there were children of teachers. As teachers, we know what to look for in a school so if we are trusting them with our own children, it is definitely a good place to be! My son loves coming to school each day and loves all of the teachers there. We are so thankful for this school!

I can’t say enough great things about Cornerstone Allen! After going through a handful of childcare facilities thankfully we landed at Cornerstone. My son spent 5 years there and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. He was loved by all the staff and owners like he was one of their own! The Logan’s are wonderful people who run their business with care and integrity.

My son loves his class and his teacher Mrs. Thomas! She is so wonderful and the staff is so friendly and helpful. They are like a second family and I dont know what I would do without them.

Its not often that I leave a review but I have to rave on the Cornerstone School. While working at Texas Motor Speedway, the owners brought out a group of kids for a field trip. Normally field trips are quite stressful for all parties involved but this one was completely different. The children were all so well behaved and you could tell they loved their teachers very much. They put a ton of time into planning out the entire day so that the kids were constantly learning and having a great time. As someone who has seen a lot of schools pass through the track, this one stands out above the rest.

1st class facility! The Logans are wonderful people who operate a wonderful child care facility. The staff is always friendly and the building is pristine. They offer indoor heated pool swim lessons and after school care. You can take your child to a everyday, run of the mill facility OR Corner Stone School Allen! They are simply the best when it comes to early childcare education. They have a private chef who cooks organic meals for the kids everyday! You will not be disappointed!

Although I have no children at Cornerstone School Allen, I have a good friend who has two children there. She raves about: the quality of education, the well prepared lessons for the kids, the nurturing care they receive from the staff, the beautiful facility with a swimming pool no less, the bus service Cornerstone provides, the summer field trips to the zoo, museum, parks and even eating at different ethnic restaurants. Those kids are so fortunate. The owners are present, on premises, and very accessible to all. After speaking to them you come away convinced of their love for children.My daughter and her husband are beginning their family, and they havealready decided to send their children there.

Cornerstone School Allen is imaculently clean with a great lunch menu. This facility is state of the art and the activities provided are engaging. You can be assured that your children are not only cared for, but genuinely loved by the staff. They will treat your children as if they were their own. Love this place!!!!

My son has gone to Cornerstone since he turned 1. He is now 5 and going to their private Kindergarten. The office staff is amazing. I love that the owners, Mr. And Mrs. Logan are always present and know each child and family by name. You can tell they truly care about the kids. There is a heated pool and every student takes lesson once they are potty trained. Mrs. Peterson has been amazing teaching swimming, my son now swims like a fish. The teachers are amazing and my son has learned so much. They always keep me in the loop with what is going on with my child. I cant say enough, I love this school.

I cant say enough good things about this school, my son is an extremely active child, the owners, the office staff, and the teachers bent over backwards to accommodate him. They have been kind to me in several situations, my son is moving on as he is going to kindergarten but this school is great!

My husband and I dont have any little ones yet- but we have several friends that do have children enrolled in this school. If you want to donrigt by your kids- you need to research schools ahead of time and make sure you are sending them to not only a safe place, but a place that they will receive a quality education. We have already decided our children will be enrolled here! The owners are active and present owners who are involved in the daily operations- thats something that stuck out to us when we did our research. They have also have a chef on site to prepare organic- healthy meals for the children- which is amazing! Cornerstone School of Allen we are coming!

Both of our kids go to Cornerstone and we love this school! Quality people, quality education, and quality environment.

Would not send my kids or teach here. My girlfriend taught here, and while she loved the kids and parents she was treated very poorly by the owners. It really appears they do not know how to operate a business. They consistently had trouble making payroll and multiple times there were errors on the paychecks (always in Cornerstones favor). In addition, when she left to pursue other opurtunities because of this, her wage for the final pay period was dropped to minimum wage. There is a reason there is so much turnover. As mentioned in some other comments, they put on a nice facade but ask questions, parents. There are much better options for preschool in the Allen area.

We have been attending this daycare for about a year. The building is wonderful and always clean. The teachers are amazing. They truly love their job and love the children. My child’s teachers have become more to us, they’ve become friends and family. It’s important to us to have a close knit network to help raise our child.The school has made some mistakes, though. They hired a teacher for our child’s classroom at one point that was not qualified and failed to catch items on her public record that should have disqualified her from the very beginning. But I believe they won’t be making that mistake again.The food they provide is not very nutritious.They usually have difficulty communicating changes to the parents until after the fact. On two separate occasions we had new teachers in the classroom (see above mistake about hiring of a teacher) and it took them over a week before a letter was sent home about the change. By then it was already known by the parents that there was a change. Communication at this school is a really big issue.The front office staff is very friendly and they make you feel like you are welcomed, except for the Director. She is very stern and unfriendly and difficult to talk with. She stays on the defensive most of the time and her actions and words show that she is most interested in looking out to protect the business from any liability instead of focusing on the children and her teaching staff.The owner is highly intelligent and excellent to work with. He is a good listener and respectful to parents, which is not what his Director is.The valet drop off was extremely helpful for me when my daughter started to have issues with separation anxiety when I left her in the classrooms.The playground equipment is appropriate and fun for the kids.The indoor swimming classes are one of the things that compelled us to go to this school in the first place.The student to teacher ratio is nice and I can clearly see the benefit of that in my childs behavior and learning.My child learned sign language to help her communicate better when she’s unable to find the words she needs. She has learned to love books and I believe that she is a better person because of the teaching staff and what they have taught her.And, again, the teachers we have had the pleasure of working with are incredible. But, if you are looking to develop any kind of possible friendship with these ladies, the school now has a policy in place that they are not allowed to do so.There are good and bad at this school, but I’m not certain if there is any daycare that is 100% good all the time.
