I highly recommend Heritage. The head of school and teachers provide each child with top notch care and excellent education. My sons have thrived at the school since day 1 as a result of the wonderful management and staff. I am very impressed with the positive environment they provide the students. The classrooms are massive and have so many great age-appropriate activities to engage the students, an enormous atrium for the children to play when weather is not ideal, and great playgrounds, green space, and raised garden beds and a big play house to stimulate the children outdoors. Plus being able to drop off and pick up via drive-thru makes the process so fast and convenient, especially during rainy or very warm or cold weather.

We love this school for our little one and she loves going to school as well. The teachers are loving, caring, provide a sense of security and are overall wonderful people with whom you would want to surround your child as you leave them for an entire day away from you. Ms. Gayatri is a sweetheart and she represents the great care this place provides to children. I noticed first hand how the different teachers communicate when my child did something funny while leaving and the next day her teacher in class, who had not seen this incident, spoke to me about it and we shared a laugh. I do not usually review places, but I value parents feedback when it comes to putting your child and I am giving my stamp of approval to Heritage Montessori in Allen with all my heart!

I worked here for the last 2 years mostly with the babies. I love this school very much. It has got lots and lots of love and radiance from day 1 of my work till the last day of my work. The management and all other staffs were really very nice and loving. Many teachers are working here continuously for more than 7 years and few teachers working continuously for more than 10 years. It has got age appropriate playground and nice garden. All the classrooms are spacious and got big gym also. I have seen lots and lots of happy faces of babies and kids every day. I strongly recommend for staff positions as well as parents trying to enroll their kids. I love all the decorations and fun events also.

My 4.5 years old son and 2.5 years old daughter goes to this Montessori for full time. Its been just few months now and we can already see the improvement they are having. They are given exposure to knowledge and activities which they might miss in any other day care or Montessori. The best thing is they have special classes everyday which keeps the kids enthusiasm up. The staff and teachers are very loving and caring.

My daughter started at Heritage Montessori in the fall of 2013. She is about to start Kindergarten and as we were about to leave her Kinder Orientation, one of the teachers stopped me to tell me that she was MORE than ready and will excel in Kindergarten. Im sure that Heritage has so much to do with this transition in her life. I would and have recommended this school to any parents that want their child to excel in academics. This school has been a great foundation for her and Im so sad to leave in the fall. We will miss this school...but the fundamentals of reading, math and writing will continue on with my daughter throughout her grade school years!!!!

I am currently working at Heritage Montessori Academy of Allen as the Assistant Director. It is a very loving and caring school with a family oriented environment. When walking around the school you can see all the teachers are very loving and caring and that this is more than just a job for them It is a passion, a true love for educating children. There is also a large amount of materials in each classroom for the children to use each day while they are in class, you will see that our children are constantly learning new things and expanding their knowledge. I highly recommend this school for anyone who is looking for a school for their child.

My daughter attended Heritage Montessori sister school in Murphy. She is now 13 but only now I am realizing the hard work and dedication that went into making her into a focused self learner that she is. Montessori emphasizes self-discipline and self-motivation. This is really paying off as she is highly motivated and disciplined learner and doing well in sports, academics, communication and socialization. She is a strong leader in her class. I especially like to thank her teachers Lisa Metcalf and Cathy Moore.

HMA Allen was home to my 2 children for almost 5 years. (10 mos - Kindergarten). We tried other Montessori schools in the area and HMA became our home. The entire staff are amazing caregivers/educators that made for a safe and loving environment. We will be forever grateful for the experience and education our children received while at HMA. I highly recommend HMA!

Our 3 kids went to this school started from age 3 to Kindergarten. We are so happy with the schools program. The teachers are great and loving. It was amazing seeing our kids reading, doing their math, knowing US map, Worlds map on their own. It was just unbelievable what these teachers fed our kids with knowledge and showing them they can do it. My kidss teachers were Ms. Martha, Ms.Michelle, Ms. Anindita, Ms. Sujata, and Ms, Nimmi. All of them were great teachers, loving and caring. This school has been a great foundation for our kids and we are so sad to leave in the fall. We will miss this school and all the teachers. Thank you all for being a great foundation for our kids.

I chose Heritage Montessori based on rigorous research of DFS infractions, online reviews from parents, and finally my in person visit and tour of the school. I was pleased to find this school had only 1 very minor infraction that was immediately handled and had numerous great reviews from parents. Furthermore, I felt very welcomed during my two in school tours by myself and then again with my two boys. Ms. Guyatri was especially loving and the teachers had been their for many many years. All of the above reasons are why I chose Heritage Montessori when our nanny gave us a two week notice. However, I feel absolutely compelled to write this review so that ALL parents understand the importance of looking at the provided camera detail of the classrooms. Had I not done this, my oldest son would have continued to be singled out and mistreated by Nimmi Gudavalli, the Elementary class teacher. On our first day, Nimmi was at the front desk and was immediately surprised when we told her that our son was going to be in her class. She was not at all welcoming or friendly. While I understood her surprise having not been told or having not met us since she was on a field trip during my initial visits, this was not a good representation for the school. From then on, I was told my sons photo would not be put up like the other students because it was close to the end of the year and there would be a new teacher for the summer, and because she had heard my son wasnt coming back for the fall, among other questionable actions. Two days after my son started in Nimmis classroom, I was granted access to view his room. And immediately, I was completely horrified by what I watched first hand. Despite their being at least 20 empty desks in the classroom facing inward toward the world map rug, my son was turned around facing a black refrigerator in a corner BY HIMSELF. For circle time, my son tried to join the other kids on the rug and when Nimmi came back into the room she made him leave the circle and sit back in the corner facing the refrigerator. I was livid. I immediately called Ms Guyatri and she also saw the video of my son in the corner by himself while all the other children and Nimmi were having class on the rug. She was stunned and agreed to immediately go to the classroom and get my son out of the corner and have him with the rest of the class. The sad part is that had I not been watching via my phone, I dont know how long Nimmi would have thought it was ok to single a child out, turn their desk around and put them in the corner as if they are being punished. Of course after meeting with Ms Guyatri I switched classrooms. To my surprise, Nimmi had already packed my sons things and put them at the door as if to say Good Riddins! Her excuse was she didnt think he would understand what they were going over during circle time and would be distracted. In other words, there was no good excuse for singling out 1 student and making them feel like they werent part of the class and putting them in a corner. She had met my child 3 days prior and had assumed he wouldnt understand and felt her actions were appropriate. As a so-called teacher, this was beyond unacceptable and she and Ms Guyatri were told as much among other things as any parent could imagine. Ms Guyatri tried to say Nimmi was stressed, but honestly if stress causes a teacher to mistreat a child then they no longer need to be a teacher. No child deserves the treatment my son went through during his first 3 days of school. And women like Nimmi Gudavalli are the reason some kids get off to a bad start not having a loving, nurturing, inclusive environment where they are encouraged and pushed to become their best selves. I really write this long story short to make parents aware of the need to monitor their children, ask questions and always speak up when you see something that is not right. After all, while Heritage is a far cry from what I was paying for a full time nanny for the past 5 years, Im still spending my money and am entitled to better.

My daughter started with HMA when she was about 3. She excelled under the direction of their wonderful teachers. My husband & I were so impressed with her development, that we started my son with HMA just before he turned 2. I have already seen him develop new skills, and become more independent. My daughter is now in kindergarten at a new school. I was told last night by her new teacher that she is reading at a 2nd grade level! WOW! I credit much of this to the methods used at HMA. I would highly recommended HMA to anyone!

Just dropped by to check it out at 4:45 on Monday, March 6! Walked right in - no security - waited several minutes for someone to walk to front desk. Woman said she couldnt give us a tour because she was leaving and it was spring spring, so not everyone was there. She did say that the nursery kids were there and all the daycare kids. ... Not a safe place!
