When we moved to Allen one year ago, the first daycare my son went was Kiddie Academy of Allen. The director there is not nice. My son was dismissed due to their called bad behaviors after a few months. Also, their classrooms are relatively small for big toddlers, which might be the cause of boys fighting. Because the school is new, the teachers there are not stables. In 4 months, my son had 3 different primary teachers. After the dismissal, we switch to Kids r Kids West Allen. This school is at every opposite way from what we had experienced in Kiddie Academy. My sons teachers have been working years in this school and very patient to my son. Also the staff are very nice and the school gives us a family feeling there. For the past half year, my son has been to Room 450 and Room 500. He enjoys schooling everyday. Also this school was remodeled in early 2020. They have nice shades over the new playground. Now we just bought our house in another city and are going to move. We will really miss the school, teachers, staff and everything.

GREAT TEACHERS! Love Miss Ashley, Bailey, Stephanie, Kris, Amber, and Miss D. This is a small list of people we love and everyone at the school is super helpful. If your child has a food allergy, they are absolute on making sure that your child is taking care of. The school has been updated which is +++, from the class rooms, equipment’s (computers, tablets, etc.), playground, splash pad, and most importantly the security. We have our child here for a long time and believe this was the best decision made.

Lovely staff and teachers with good communication skills. They also provide a well developed and interactive curriculum. Every time I walk in and out I get welcomed and love that all the staff members know the names of all their kiddos! It took me a long time to find something right for my child being that he is autistic. Hes been there for 3 years now and is more communicative and enjoys being part of the Kids R Kids family. Totally recommend to any parent!

My experience with Kids are Kids has been excellent this far. My twins (2 years old) have been going here for more than 6 months now. They put lot of emphasis on learning, and that was a big factor for me and wife when we opted for this day care. Teachers are excellent, welcoming and very caring. We get detailed daily reports with photos everyday. I would highly recommend this center to any parent in the area that is looking for childcare.

Our kiddos have been at Kids R Kids for almost 3 years now and we have had a wonderful experience. I know my kids are in good hands when theyre at school and I am constantly amazed at what my 3 year old is learning. Very happy to be apart of the KRK family.

Kids R Kids is absolutely amazing! They make you feel as though you are right at home and my son has loved each and everyone of his teachers there. If you are a first time mama like I was I would highly recommend trusting your little one to be in excellent care at kids r kids west Allen!!

Wonderful staff and family atmosphere! They are friendly and professional to consistently deliver on GREAT learning resources and to partner with families for a positive early childhood learning experience. They also offer additional resources and opportunities for the entire family to get involved, and I enjoy taking my 2 yr old each day.

My Son Noah loves this school , Staff is very nice and helpful and very attentive. I as a parent couldnt be more happier knowing that my son is learning and is in great care. I cannot say enough about how good teachers are with kids my son talking more and his potty training isnt a issue thanks to Kids R Kids and their staff .

We have been at Kids R Kids for 8 years and have loved every minute of it! They have the world’s GREATEST teachers and staff! This is the best family to help raise your babies and give them all the tools they need to start school!

They treat staff horribly and wonder why they are losing parents/customers. They allow for a staff members to go through a mass amount of stress and pressure when they are capable of helping. They are inconsiderate of the staff’s health and requests for help. And want to find small reasons to fire anybody they don’t like, but keep horrible staff members that don’t follow rules for months and years. Horrible place to do business with

I tried to leave a review couple times before, but dont know where to start. Because it has been a long time. All started about 7 years ago. After quite some consideration, we started to send our daughter to KRK, then couple years later, her little brother. For these years, together we experienced a lot: our kids walked their first step here, learned their ABC here, and made their first friends here. We met quite a lot great teachers. They not only take good care of our kids, and I can tell, they do love the kids. And the management team are super nice, professional and helpful. Time flies. now my son also graduated from KRK. Our entire family love this place, but its time to say goodbye. Hope everything would back to normal, and KRK would become a better and better place to the kids.

This is a great place! My oldest started there when she 17 months old. When we decided to move from an in-home nanny to a preschool we toured several different locations in and around Allen. Kids R Kids West Allen stood out above all the rest. The staff is extremely friendly and the owner is almost always on location helping her staff. That made a huge difference to us in our decision to select this school. All staff members know us by first and last name and make every single parent feel like they take extra special care of their kid every single day. Now my youngest attends school and absolutely loves all of her teachers she has had and cant wait for school. They also have a great curriculum and it is not just babysitting. That also made a big impact on us. When my oldest first started kindergarten she was relaxed and felt like it was mostly a review. The staff at Kids R Kids are well trained in early childhood development and that was important to us when we reviewed several schools.

There is no greater feeling than knowing your child is not only safe while you’re at work but knowing that they are having fun with a class and teachers who love them as their own! My son has been here since he was 18 months old (he is now 5) and my experience with KRK has always been wonderful! My son has learned so much and anytime I need an extra hand or help with something the staff and managers are ready to help! Would recommend this school family to anyone!

My son loves going to daycare here; he smiles as soon as he sees his teachers. I am so happy I can take him somewhere and know he will be happy all day.

Kids R Kids West Allen has been “home” to my children for the last 5 years. My now 8yo started the program when he was 2. He started kindergarten above grade level and has now been in the gifted program for 3 years in public school. He still loves visiting Kids R Kids for summer camps, school breaks and the occasional afternoon care. He loves the staff like family members and has made lasting friendships with the other children he attends with. My now 3yo started the program at the age of 8 weeks and has received excellent care and education. I couldn’t ask for better people to guide my children on their educational journey and love them like family.

My oldest has been at KRK since he was 2. He has had amazing teachers over his past 5 years at the school. I find it truly amazing all the teachers hes had in each room are still at the school! He is now in the after school program and I cant say enough great things about the fun he has after school and in the summer program! He had a blast on all the fun educational field trips. My youngest is now 3 and has been blessed enough to have most of the same loving teachers as his brother. He absolutely loves going to school to learn with his teachers and friends. We love our school family!

Our daughter has been at Kids R Kids of West Allen since she was 1 and our son since he was 3 months. There are so many great things about the school but the best thing is the people. They are all very friendly and genuinely care about their kids and families. We are constantly amazed at the curriculum and how much they have learned at such young ages. The facilities are great and very well kept. We highly recommend Kids R Kids of West Allen as your partner in raising your kids!

Ever since I started my daughter here, I have only had great experiences. It is such a family vibe and that is so important to me.

I have been taking my daughter to this wonderful school for almost a year. She started in the 2 year old room. Her teacher Ms.Steph in the 2 year old room is an awesome and incredible teacher. If it wasn’t for her my daughter would not know several things, including spelling her name, spelling her colors and recognizing her colors. She knows how to count up to ten in English and Spanish. They would sing songs about the colors and I really think that is why my daughter loves to sing so much! They teach the social- emotional skills along with the academic curriculum which is very important to me. My daughter is now in the three year old class and doing really well! The director is amazing as well, she is very dedicated and you can tell that she loves what she does and has so much passion for this school and that is just one of the many reasons I choose to drive back to Allen to take my daughter to this GREAT school. The Director is very passionate for what she does she has a big heart and works with you and cares for all her students and parents. I couldn’t ask for a better school with an amazing staff that are very good at what they do and make this school amazing every day!

BEST PRESCHOOL EVER! I would trust them with my kid ANY DAY. The director and owner are there daily, helping with the children and the staff...so they are always aware of what is going on. Class sizes are good for the awesome rates that you are going to pay. You get up to date and most recently researched and reviewed curriculum, enthusiastic teachers, and great facilities. Have trouble with your kid? No problem, they will work WITH you to find the best solution to help get behaviors and not yet learned skills under control. I love them like family and cried when I had to take my daughter to Kindergarten at her home school. We still go back on a drop in basis...cant resist getting some Krista and Dena in my life! Please go here and enroll your kid now...best decision I ever made!

Our two girls have attended Kids R Kids for the last 18 months, and it has been a fantastic experience. We moved to Allen from another area and had also attended a daycare previously. Kids R Kids of West Allen understands parents point of view and always puts the needs of the children first. Ive only had to speak with the director of the school about an issue once, and the school took full accountability & responsibility to come up with a resolution that satisfied all parties. My questions I have are satisfied at the teacher/classroom level. The front-desk staff are incredibly knowledgeable as well, or can at least direct you to the right person with any questions you may have. I believe KRK has high expectations for their teachers and children both. I love this school for my kids, and we will continue with their after-school program even after my daughter starts Kindergarten this fall. Keep up the good work.

Both of our kids attend Kids R Kids and we couldnt be happier. The entire staff is wonderful and we have peace of mind that are kids are always in good hands. We have been to other places and they do not compare. Highly recommended.

The owners take pride in their school and are very dedicated to hiring the best teachers available. Their standards are high and it shows.Kids R Kids offers so much more than your average day care. Breakfast, lunch and snacks every day are provided by an amazing kitchen staff; extra curricular activities such as Spanish lessons, music and fitness adventures are all included at no extra charge; and there is no extra charges for field trips.I highly recommend Kids R Kids of West Allen. They provide a great curriculum for every age group but more importantly, they provide a safe, loving, nurturing environment for children to thrive.

My daughter has attended Kids R Kids of West Allen since she was 16 months old, she will be 4 next month. My husband and I could not ask for a better environment for learning, growth, and love. We all feel as if we are part of a big extended family and will be sad when it is time for our daughter to move on to elementary school. Everyone who works at KRK love what they do, and it does not matter if they are the owner, a teacher, or in the kitchen. They all want to be there to teach and love our children each and every day. I highly recommend this school to anyone looking. As you will not find a better school in the area for the amount that you spend, the education that your child will receive, and the welcoming environment that you will find yourself and your family in.

Our son attended pre-k at Kids R Kids of West Allen from 2013 to 2015. Its truly a quality school. The owners, teachers and staff are professional, friendly and passionate. The school offers a great curriculum and a loving, fun and creative environment. We were very happy we chose Kids R Kids and we recommend it to other parents. Our son had a wonderful time and he has been well prepared for kindergarten. Ten out of ten!!! :)

All of my family like KRK and the teachers in my sons classes. They are sooooo nice, smart and patient. My son started to go to the school from 7 month old till now, almost 2.5 years. He loves school so much and enjoys the life there every weekday. We are so glad to have him grow with KRK

I liked the school initially and my child was one of the first kids to go there but they have increased their ratios over time to the point where I do not feel that they can control the classroom or even start to provide an environment conducive to learning(30 kids in the 3 year old classroom and 2 teachers). I like the owners and I like the teachers but I feel like the owners want to make money and the teachers are overwhelmed. Furthermore, they really represented the school as an academic environment but its not. Their curriculum (which they explained recently) is to teach through playing and does not involve much structure. There are not evaluations or checklists to see if your child is on target. They told us that they used to do this through a computer system but then stopped doing it (because they had some problems) and then only recently decided to start up again after several of us complained. The facility is nice and clean and looks great. I wish we could have stayed here...we met so many nice parents and my child has a lot of friends there but it concerns me that my child is almost 3.5 and does not even recognize the first letter of his name and this does not seem to be concerning to the owners or management. I do hope they make some changes in the future.

Our son was at KRK West Allen since he was about 7 months old. He went through every classroom until he graduated through their private kinder program. We can not say enough good things about the learning and care he received. He hit so many learning milestones. It was amazing how the teachers worked w him and others at their level-he was never bored. He was not a number. Every teacher knows each kid and every parent is greeted each time they enter the secure building.The cameras! Initially, it was the most reassuring part of leaving our sweet boy. I loved that I could watch what was going on in the classroom. I loved that the staff would email or call to keep us informed.Would I choose KRK west Allen again? YES!I thank them and share our experience every chance I get.

This school is truly praiseworthy. My daughter loved her time here and she developed a wonderful foundation for learning. Everything hinges on local management, and the director here is amazing, responsive and always positive. I wholeheartedly recommend Kids-R-Kids of West Allen.

From our first tour of Kids R Kids and meeting the teachers and staff, we were sold. The staff had a GENUINE interest in our childrens well being and development. After a few months at the school we began to feel like we were part of their family. The administrators were welcoming and the teachers seemed to really enjoy being with the children. We have been there for 6 years now (2 kiddos) and still very happy! I have voiced my concerns whenever there were small issues, and the teachers and staff are so wonderful to help correct the situation. I also appreciate that whenever there is even a minor incident (falling down or hitting knee) the school documents it and lets you know by phone call or email. Its amazing to see the educational aspect and constantly hearing them come home and talk about new things theyve learned at school. There is really nothing better than watching your own child grow, but add in the workings of Kids R Kids West Allen and you will be more than amazed by the little person that develops. Thank you for being there for us and being part of our family!!!

My children started at KRK in 2010, and it has felt like home since day one. The staff and teachers knew mine and my kids’ names within the first week, and have always been suppoting and loving even in the “tough” conversations. I cannot more highly recommend this school and everyone in it from support staff to management. They are not just our “daycare”, they are our family.

My son join when he was around 4 month-old. The teachers are very nice and patience. I can watch him through their security camera anytime I want. They will provide a daily report, and sometimes with photos to let the parents know how the baby is doing for that day. Weve been with KRK for over 6 months now, and we are still loving it. Ms.Salima is a great help especially. If you have a LO and want him/her to be in good hands, please ask for Ms.Salimas classroom.

A hug above the rest is their motto, but from my 2-year-old sons 2 month experience in there, it was absolutely to the contrary. When I dropped off my child, teachers were reluctant to take him from me, not mention a hug. My poor child chased me and kept crying for a long time, from 10 minutes to hours, behind the door after I left. Once, when a floating teacher held my son in her arms and tried to calm him down, the head teacher got upset, saying that he had to learn it by himself. Actually, now, when I think about it, I dont blame the poor teachers; teachers were too busy because the school was short handed and teachers turn over rate was extremely high.

Will not recommend Kids R Kids for After School or summer school care. The activities for kids are limited, teachers and care takers are rude and management is more bothered about making money rather than providing kids with a good experience. There are better alternatives in and around Allen for After School Care.

Kids R Kids has an amazing administrative staff who work tirelessly day after day in order to create a safe, clean, inviting environment for all children. My two children have attended Kids R Kids for the past few years now, and we have been very impressed overall. I always drop my kids off with the knowledge that they are excited to be there and are ready to have a fun, educational day. The only reason I have rated 4 stars instead of 5 is for the student to teacher ratio and turnover of classroom staff. Concerning the student to teacher ratio, I know that Kids R Kids operates within the law and complies with Texas code, however, at times I feel like there are too many kids per classroom and wish Kids R Kids would change their policy to lighten that ratio just a bit. As far as the teachers are concerned, turnover feels high, but as Ive learned more about the daycare business Ive realized that this is a part of most if not all daycares. There is a solid foundation of teachers that are wonderful, and have been at Kids R Kids for many years. Other teachers come and go, but most of them have been just fine.

My children have gone to KRK for the last 5 years and we have loved it! The teachers are wonderful, loving, and knowledgeable. Their curriculum is a great balance of fun and learning. I highly recommend KRK to anyone looking for an outstanding daycare!

My daughter has been enrolled since August 2015. As a new Mom of course I have concerns about how the day care world works. They have more than eased all anxieties. I would recommend them to all family and friends!!!

Both my kids are going to Kidsrkids of West Allen since 2016. Finding a very good daycare and after-school had been a challenge for us since we moved to Texas from Washington. I am sure you will not be disappointed choosing this place. I sent my kids to couple of other daycares before enrolling at KidsRKids and I had to take my kids out of those old daycares due to issues with the staff for their rudeness and ignorance. So it was always a concern for me to find the right place for my kids to whom i leave my kids alone to take care of them, and I was really lucky I found this place. The first visit itself, was very inviting and the staff were exceptional in their service and were very friendly too. I had in some instances where I had to involve the Owner and Director of KidsRKids for some issues, and they always listened to my concerns and would take prompt action. The quality of teaching and non-teaching staff is outstanding, they are very passionate, loving and caring. I would definitely recommend KidsRKids for your kids daycare and after school needs.

There are not many that I trust my kids with or am ecstatic to be a part of...having said that, for the passed 6years it has been a blessing and encouragement in humanity to be a part of the KRK fambam. Krista Rodriguez is refreshingly honest and open. Dena Soliman is an easy to talk to owner and friend. Besides the fact Stephanie Abbott, Nicole Wegrzyn and Ashley Nichols have been a part of my family for years, they are close friends and easy to lean on for parental and professional assistance. Ms Nadine is a hero to me and soooo dedicated. The sacrifices they work with, whether be it financial or emotional, are plentiful as they always regroup as a team. Selflessness and loyalty are two key words utilized by this awesome team. I am happy to have been a part of it all as I watch my kids grow in the Kidsrkids realm of societal integration.Thanks for all y’all do and thanks for the memories over these years!
