Zombie was awesome. Training partners were super friendly and we worked on some legit guard passing. Open mat was fun, everyone was technical. Head coach / owner is a super nice guy! He made sure to introduce himself + roll and talk to me after even though I visited from out of town. Drop in fee was a little steep at $20 but I would recommend this place.

I was visiting from out of town and owners were gracious enough to let me train at their gym for a few weeks! Couldn’t have been happier with my experience. Coaches were top tier and training partners were great! Overall a solid gym and very welcoming environment. Would easily recommend to this gym to anyone in the area who has been training for years as well as someone who is looking to start training!

I have a background in high school wrestling, and I started training bjj at Zombie about three weeks ago. I couldn’t have had a better first impression over that time. The coaches are spectacular, and truly understand not only the techniques that are being taught, but also how those techniques tie into the larger picture in a grappling/combative situation. The culture of the gym is also outstanding. There are students of varying backgrounds and skill levels with different over all goals, but everyone seems to be devoted to improving themselves and those around them. I feel comfortable asking for advice from any of the higher belts, who are always eager to help. In my first few weeks of training I didn’t have a gi because the company that I ordered from had delivery problems. An experienced student that I barley knew offered me his spare gi, until mine came in. I think this example aptly sums up the family-like culture that has been created at Zombie. I find myself spending a lot of time training because jiu jitsu truly is addictive. I would recommend this gym for anyone looking for a positive environment in which they can develop real skills.

This school is top notch, with world-class instructors. Jeremy will break everything down step-by-step and cover even the smallest of details, to ensure you are learning everything properly. You also never have to worry about being injured while training. Everyone that trains here is incredibly respectful and careful while training, and everyone respects the tap. This is a great place to train, the women classes are awesome! All the other girls and guys are really friendly and helpful. The coaches do a great job encouraging everyone. Theyre super detailed, and very technical. Its an amazing place to learn self defense for everyone, including ladies and kids. This academy is worth checking out.

This school is absolutely amazing! My daughter has been training at Zombie since May of 2015. She was five years old when we signed her up. I feel like we won the lottery having an academy like this in our city. My childs life will be forever impacted by her time spent on the mats at Zombie. Not only do the coaches take special interest in what and how each child learns, they treat all of the kids equally fairly and kindly. The coaches are also very high-caliber and you can be very confident that your child will learn these techniques the right way, and most importantly, they are learning safely. She is more confident and determined than Ive ever seen her, and those qualities keep growing with her as each month passes. She is learning that you reap what you sow, and that hard work pays off. She has become great friends with her training partners, and thats also great to see. Not to mention that now she is also learning very important self-defense skills, and as her journey continues, those skills will only grow and grow.Overall, Zombie BJJ deserves more than the five star rating that it has. Its a very friendly, fun, and clean environment filled with a group of close-knit people that will inevitably become like your extended family. I recommend this school to any parent looking to get their child into something physical that will build their confidence and work ethic. And, as an adult who also trains there, I recommend this academy for any adult looking for the same thing.

Ive been coming here for several months now and I have only positive things to say about. Its a great environment to learn in. The coaching staff have such an acumen for the style and truly do take the time to work with you on technique and so forth. The more experienced students always help you as well. Not only have I experienced it but Ive seen it with newer students. Everyone is friendly and team orientated. Im more than satisfied with my investment and, without a doubt, recommend Zombie as a gym.

The instructors were very welcoming to my son and I.. Being complete beginners, I was a bit worried that it would be a bunch of tough guys chomping at the bit to twist us into human pretzels. But it was the exact opposite. Although Im sure they could have snapped us into tiny pieces at will, everyone was very nice, and without ego.. stressing proper technique and training safely. Its great exercise, and a lot of fun. Id recommend it to anyone as a means of learning practical self defense techniques or just getting in shape.

This place is awesome! Friendly atmosphere and family oriented. Our whole family trains there. Theyre very good about ensuring new students of all ages have a positive learning experience and arent just thrown to the wolves. That said, if you want a deathmatch, there are plenty of killers there (male and female) that will give it to you. Come train!

Great experience at this gym. Everyone here is very welcoming, which you dont experience at many other gyms. The trainers here excell at encouraging their students and they provide the knowledge necessary to turn out skilled mixed martial artists. I trained for several years at a few other places and had to take a long break. Ive been out of the game for about 5 years and had the itch to get back to training. I researched quite a bit and Zombie looked to have a depth of Instructors, and had great reviews. I contacted them to ask some questions, and they got back to me very quickly and answered all of my questions. I went in for a trial class and knew right away I had found a new home. The Instruction is on point and the atmosphere is great. They are one of the only BJJ schools around that have morning classes, which is something I need. I travel a lot for work, and sometimes for weeks at a time, and they are completely willing to work with me on my membership. I am fairly new to Zombie, but look forward to being there a long time!

Long story short, Jiu-Jitsu will definitely protect you if ever you’re attacked on the street but also from any mental struggles (as in my case, I struggled with anorexia until I joined Zombie). With that said, the coaches at Zombie are the best. Jeremy and Matt are both amazing and patient instructors, and Chino is the best if you want your kids to learn and achieve all the amazing benefits from Jiu-Jitsu. I have been training here on and off since 2016. Since Im in the military I only come in when Im on leave. With that being said professor Jeremy and Matt treat you like you belong to the gym. Jeremy and Matt will break the technique down reguardless of your size to make sure you can do the move of the day. They also have an amazing kids program that professor Chino helps run. If you are in the area and want to see your jiu jitsu game grow, or a new student thinking about trying jiu jitsu this is the school to go to in the Lehigh Valley.

I work out at Zombie 2-3 times a week. Everyone is friendly and the instructors are awesome! I moved from Chicago in July and the Zombies are now my family in PA. Plus, I have dropped almost 20 lbs just and feel great.

If you live around Allentown/Bethlehem, theres honestly no place with the same amount of quality technique and talented training partners. The coaches actually want you to learn the technique and see you do well if you want to compete. Had my fair share of asswhoopings here haha. The more experienced guys here are humble and never pick on new guys.

Zombie bJJ is amazing. Lots classes and open mats for members on saterday and sunday. Thats 7 days a week to drill and roll. There are high level guys and normal everyday guys that come to zombie so theres always a training partner. the size of the place is huge lots of mat space. The Coaches are amazing guys, who are super passionate about BJJ. All the coaches take there time and explain in drill. The coaches work with everybody no favorites and roll with everybody. Ive trained in maybe half a dozen bjj schools over the years and zombie Jiu jitsu is one of the very best. The facilities are clean and spacious, the instruction is advanced and technical but the instructors excel at breaking it down for beginners. The atmosphere is casual and relaxed; those looking to ease into bjj will find a partner who will take them through the ropes without smashing them. Coming from doing aikido and jiu-jitsu, Zombie Brazilian Jiu-jitsu is the toughest and most enjoyable martial art I have done. Not only you learn how to defend yourself or compete in competition but you will lose weight. Within the first month I lost 10 pounds already. Feeling great and active. A great BJJ school. Ive trained at three other schools prior to moving to PA, this school is top notch. The instructors are fully committed and truly LIVE for Bjj, Im talking LIVE, EAT, AND BREATH Jiu Jitsu 24 hours a day! Jeremy brings plenty of advanced moves and points out all the details that matter. He knows more advanced moves than I can learn in 10 years. And 10 years from now hell know 20 more years worth of moves.The school hosts seminars regularly with the top names, and world champions coming through teaching aspects of their game. If youre a beginner who never touched the mat, if youre advanced, if youre in athletic shape, or totally out of shape and looking to change that, this school is for you. I was fortunate enough to train with team Kimura underneath professor Jean Kleber, a world class jiu jitsu teacher and native of Brazil.Since leaving I have visited numerous schools looking for what I had up there, truly authentic brazilian jiu jitsu. Zombie BJJ was the only place that felt like home to me. There is a tremendous sense of pride and camaraderie that flows throughout the school, radiating from head instructor Jeremy Henderson. I imagine this stems from his time spent training underneath world class native Brazilian Hobson Moura. Its difficult to fully explain, but theres just a well mixture of good vibes, excellent instruction and quality training partners.It has been amazing to see this school develop over the past year that I have been here. At first it was a small, humble and well run school. It has been steadily building into a well oiled machine that consistently challenges and teaches you every single class. It now is humming along perfectly providing a great jiu jitsu experience and also producing gold medal winning athletes.My advice to anyone out there considering jiu jitsu for the first time, or already trains and is new to the area, to come in for a class and see what its like. Zombie Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is not only the best in the Lehigh Valley but is the best BJJ you will find anywhere. The owner/coach Jeremy Henderson is an extremely skilled BJJ practitioner and a world-class teacher. He takes his time and breaks down a very difficult martial art to learn and makes it not only easy but fun as well. All of the people who practice BJJ there are extremely friendly and welcoming. There is no intimidation for new comers and everyone helps you out. If you are worried about being out of shape don’t worry, there is no one that they cannot teach and get into shape. If you’re worried about your busy schedule dont. They have several classes every single day and you can come as many or as few classes as you have time for. Regardless everyone is treated equally well. I personally started going there to learn how to defend myself and to get into better shape. I was afraid i wouldnt have enough time and that i would be too old and out of shape to practice BJJ. I am still new to the art but i go about 3-4 times a week sometimes at night and sometimes in the morning. I am starting to get into better shape and am excited about where the bjj i am learning here. Also, while I dont have any children, they have a great children’s program where your child can learn the same world-class BJJ that the adults learn. The childrens coach, Aroldo Rodas, is also a phenomenal coach. He is not only great with children but is a great teacher. Aroldo has not only won gold medals in competition, but his young students have also won gold as well. If you want your child to learn discipline, a lifelong martial art, stay active and in shape, as well as make some great friends then this is the place for them. If you dont believe me then stop by the coaches are there all day every day and they are always willing to answer any questions you may have.
