Wonderful school with fantastic owners, leadership, and teachers! Our kids come home happy and exhausted! They spend such a great deal of time outdoors which we love and is unique to childcare centers in this area. The teachers have the opportunity to adjust the classrooms curriculum to the childs interest as well as their own input which is great. We are very happy here!

We LOVE Little Sunshine’s Playhouse! We started at LSP almost two years ago after moving to the area and searching for a good daycare fit for our two youngest children. We fell in love with the environment of this school from our first visit. Positive classroom interactions, caring teaching and administrators, excellent enrichment opportunities, and quality instruction have kept us completely satisfied with our choice. Our children love this school, and we love that they are cared for by wonderful teachers while we are away. We have made great friendships with other families at the school, and would absolutely recommend this school to others in the area.

We love it here! We have 2 boys that go to LSP. The facility is clean, the staff is wonderful, and my kids love it. Daily sheets are very detailed and the cameras are awesome so I can check in on them anytime I like. I researched EVERY school within a 10 mile radius and this was the one for us.

My two daughters have been attending LSP for about 8 months. The LSP team is warm and welcoming and give special attention to my children. My preschool-aged daughter enjoys playing outside, Spanish, and culinary class. Her teachers work with her to develop the skills that she needs and love on her. My infant is always smiling, and her teachers are great at following our desired eating and sleeping schedule.

A-mazing!!! Love this place so much for our little one. We made the switch from another early childhood learning facility when our daughter was a year and a half old (she is 2 now) and this facility is on a whole different level. From the curriculum and teachers to the administration team to the chef and the food they serve, it’s just top notch. What sold us on this facility (over the 4 others that we toured in the area) was the food and the atmosphere. The chef really cares about what goes into making the food that our sweet little ones eat. Not saying it’s super hippy organic or anything but it’s REAL food not the frozen fish sticks and oatmeal cream pies that other places serve. The chef even comes around every so often and teaches cooking classes for kids (or friends as they are called at school). I’ve even eaten some of our daughters food when I’ve shown up at breakfast or lunch or snack - real sliced mangoes and homemade scones and in-house made chicken Parmesan with garlic noodles. I mean, she eats better than I do haha. And that’s important to us...we do pay a premium for that but for us, it’s worth it for healthy, good food for our sweetness. The place is always clean and smells nice (sounds weird to mention but if you’ve toured enough places, you know what I’m talking about) and everyone is always friendly and helpful. I think it sets a great example for our little ones to follow. If I could offer one bit of criticism (just so you know I’m not all peaches and sunshine and this is a real review) - the classrooms have very little carpet or padding so they get quite loud when you have a bunch of kids screaming and with music on and teachers talking to the friends. It just gets loud in the rooms and I do worry about their little ears and I’ve been meaning to bring this up with the team but keep forgetting (blaming Mommy Brain) and I’m sure they would be receptive to finding a solution. But other than that, I’m a happy camper.Thank you for being so supportive Little Sunshine’s. I’m grateful we found a place that checks all our boxes.

Best preschool in the area! The staff is AMAZING- administrative and teachers. We are so glad to have the LSP family to entrust with our sons care and education. They have only been open for a couple of months, but the change in my childs care and development compared to our last facility has been enormous (and in such a short time)! The daily reports are so much more thorough than our last school, which I appreciate as a parent. I want to know the details of my childs day! There are cameras, so you can pop in and see your childs room or playground whenever you think about it during the day. Totally worth the investment; after all, youre investing in your childs foundation for learning and socializing!

We stumbled upon Little Sunshine because it was next door to our gym. I know that it was divine intervention, because this has been the BEST environment for our now 2-year-old. She has been there for over a year and has absolutely blossomed! Izzy comes home every day she is at LSP and has new skills to show us, new words that she has learned, and even yoga poses that she tries out. This isnt just a school, it is an extension of our family. I am always greeted with a smile and personal conversation; never just a nod or indifference. The administrative team always strives to make sure that their teachers have resources at their fingertips and always welcome parent feedback. We are also expecting in March and plan on starting our newest addition off in the infant room next fall and will do so with the utmost confidence that our baby is in great hands.

Little Sunshine’s Playhouse is a very prestigious preschool. The fact that there is a set curriculum for children as young as 6 weeks goes to show how much the teachers care about educating these children. LSP offers such a lovely preschool experience with tons of special events that involve the families. I’d highly recommend LSP to anyone who has a child young enough to attend!

We absolutely love LSP! Ill be completely honest .... our daughter Harper is our first child, and I was/am THAT mom. The one who wants everything to be as close to perfect for her baby as possible, very particular about who her baby is around, and convinced that no one will ever care for her baby like she will. Yep, THAT one. So, when we began to research schools for Harper to attend after she turned 1, I knew it was going to take a lot to wow me ... LSP quickly and easily won me over!We visited the school at least 3-4x before enrolling Harper. During this time we felt that the staff were so excited about the possibility of Harper attending LSP. They were happy to answer any and every question we had, no matter how many. They doted and loved on her, and that meant the world to me. This has been consistent since she started here. They are always amazing, warm, welcoming, friendly, helpful, and so loving towards the children and families. We love the curriculum, and that LSP is a school, not a daycare (in my opinion), fresh food/fruit and a personal chef - cant beat that, the facility is nicely designed and clean, the ability to watch our child on the camera, yoga, Spanish, fun school-wide events, daily luvnotes, weekly and monthly newsletters .... whats not to love!?Harper started attending LSP 3 days a week In August in the 1 year old class. Shell be going full-time now and loves school! She is learning so much and progressing so quickly, thanks to her awesome teachers. Her vocabulary is expanding, she clearly says thank you, says and signs more, and even says hola!. We are trying our best to encourage her to walk and her teachers do the same at school, pushing her a little when necessary, but in a safe, loving, and healthy manner. We love reading the daily LuvNotes to see how Harpers day is going. Her teachers do a great job highlighting even the smallest accomplishments.Something that stood out the most to me is that when still deciding, I asked admin staffs opinions of LSP versus other schools in the area, and neither of them had 1 bad thing to say about any other school. Theyre confident in what LSP has to offer because it really is just in a league of its own. Its the perfect fit for our family!

Little Sunshine’s Playhouse & Preschool (LSP) hands down is the BEST Playhouse & Preschool in Alpharetta/Johns Creek area. When I tell my friends and co workers about this place I NEVER refer to it as Duke’s (my son) daycare. I ALWAYS call it his school. They have a Red Carpet Service in which they come out to your car and offer to take your child to their classroom (saving you time when you’re in a rush or just can’t find yourself to get out the car that morning), they send you daily “LuvNotes” on what your child ate for breakfast & lunch, as well as their behavior for the day. A daily email about what’s on the menu (breakfast, lunch, snack) prepared by LSP’s very own Chef. Now don’t get me wrong I try to do all I can as single, full-time working mom but LSP has helped me not only potty train my 3 year old Duke, they taught him how to brush his teeth, taught him manners, suggested I should start putting him in underwear (that was only a 2 months ago & he’s crushing it)! Not only do they help you as parents, they are extremely open in communicating with you about progress, concerns, & the growth of your child. My 3 yo is progressing so fast he’s already transitioned to the “4 year old classroom” as Duke refers to as his “big boy class”They have a Spanish teacher that comes in & teaches the children Spanish (everyday)! They do yoga I can go on & on. The social skills of my toddler is through the roof and when people hear him speak they automatically assume he’s older than he really is. Duke has really gained some great friends and mommy has too. I love our relationships we have gained with our LSP staff family & our classroom friends. Duke & I both have made forever friends and let me tell you about the staff ...Where do I even begin!! These women are words beyond measure. Their communication is fabulous, they answer any questions & concerns with confidence & reassurance, when a child is sick an email immediately goes out letting the classroom parents know of the sickness along with precautions on how to prevent it from spreading to other children, along with the quarantine of the child & the disinfecting WITH BLEACH! (My personal favorite)You know when you’ve found your forever childcare when you’re considering having another child because you’re not ready to part with the absolutely amazing, phenomenal, out of this world staff (even though Duke still has another year)

This school has exceeded my expectations in so many ways! If youre looking for a school that surrounds you and your child with a warm, friendly, fun, educational, and loving environment, Little Sunshines Playhouse in Alpharetta is it!It starts when you walk though the front door, and theres such a warm and welcoming leadership team that clearly has a passion for what they do and their families. I love that Emily & D.J. (owners) are very involved with the school, and on-site, not just the pop-in on occasion kind of owners. Ashlee, their program director, has the best upbeat attitude & personality, & not only makes my mornings, but always goes above and beyond when I need anything. My son is 4, and enrolled in their Pre-K program, and LOVES it & has learned so much! To say that his teachers Ms. Brianne, Ms. Brooke, Ms. Annie, and Ms. Mary are assets to the school, would be an understatement! Between checking-in on the cameras during the school day, and actually being there during the pre-k action during pick-up & drop-off, these 4 are nothing but kind and loving to these kids, and its obvious that the kids are happy and adore them! The teachers are very involved & interactive with the kids, which I believe is so important. The communication is wonderful, and I love that theyre so friendly when I come in, and take the time to greet me, answer any questions I might have, & tell me a little about my sons day.Little Sunshines was the best decision we could have made for our son, and we could not be happier! :o)
