This place is AWESOME already and I haven’t even begun classes!! I was greeted with friendliness and made to feel so comfortable! My advisor Hank is on point with the communication and motivation! Tori gave an excellent tour, and Melissa is the queen of financials!! I HIGHLY recommend dealing with these individuals if you want a career like I do!

I went to school here in 2016/2017-2018. I was lied to about my FASFA and Student loans! It’s two ears later and now I’m getting a notice in the mail saying i owe 3000. I’ve called the school I’ve called the place I’m getting the notice from and NO ONE seems to know what to say! The director now at the school avoids my calls and emails and my questions. I just gave up and i stopped reviving the mail/phone calls but it’s still on my credit that i owe 😡

I had the pleasure of working at the Cosmetology campus for two years. It was an awesome place to work. The instructors are very knowledgeable and the students here get the opportunity to learn many different skills. The clientele is very diverse so the students get a realistic idea of what it might be like in the field working with people from all different walks of life. Although, I no longer work here, I still get my haircuts here on the regular.

I started coming to Milan Institute of Cosmetology about 2 years ago, when my granddaughters friend was going to school here. The faculty, staff, and students are all very friendly. I dont have a lot of hair, so Im pretty easy, but they always take such great care of me. The haircuts I get have always come out so nice that I now bring my grand kids for trims and cuts. I can set an appointment or walk in and have never had any issues. I definitely recommend anyone get their hair cuts here.

I came to get a shampoo and a trim because one of the other schools that said they take walk ins whenever I called would not see me because I did not have an appointment. At Milan, I checked in (without an appointment). I waited five minutes and was in and out. The young lady who took care of me did so from start to finish and she did a great job. The instructors were close by that way if students had questions they were easily accessible. It got busy as I was leaving.

Terrible. My sister went to get her hair cut at Milan on 07/12/19, and an INSTRUCTOR cut her hair. She brought a picture of a CHIN LENGTH cut, and the instructor cut her hair to her EARS. She went back and asked for a refund and the instructor lady who cut her hair told her that it wasn’t wrong, and there’s nothing she can do about it. No apology, no refund. Save your money and go somewhere else.

I got my hair cut, because its too hot in the summer here, colored, highlighted and styled. I was there for a few hours, but it came out awesome and I paid less than I would have going to a salon. My profile pic is a week after I got it done and I curled it for my last week of school. :)

Awful! DO NOT GO TO COSMETOLOGY SCHOOL HERE!!! Not only did they allow us to sit in bed bugs for months without telling us, buy many students myself included, had their federal student aid tampered with! The lady in charge of it was fired and it was found out that she was going in and reporting false information in our accounts. So people were awared way more funding that should not have been givin, and some people even lost all their funding due to her lies. Then the school tries to brush it all under the rug and hush it all up. Well its ridiculous. After all this was corrected last time I looked, it said that everything was good and payed. I graduated and everything but now I got this email from Milan stating that theres 6 thousand something dollars that was supposed to be dispersed in loans while I was still enrolled and it wasnt and to get the funding i have to sign authorization. I called them and conveniently enough, my account now says that 6 thousand something dollars is stilled owed to the school and if I dont sign to get the money from loans, Ill owe them 6 thousand dollars out of my pocket? No! Its really fishy. Also the learning material is garbage! Go somewhere else!

This used to be a great place to get facials, but now when you book an appointment you have to call the day of because the students dont bother showing up and they have an oh well attitude. The instructors dont check on the students or clients anymore. Its a shame what this establishment has become.

Save your hair, terrible service here they burned my hair, I got scap blisters it hurt so bad I went to ER, they increased price because the person doing my hair used way to much chemicals that was not my fault, teachers were rude nobody cared, person that did my hair kept cutting her hands up with hair scissors it was pretty bad. I did not enjoy my experience here.

One that didnt talk much but seem very nice and the other rude old woman. Which, I knew it was the same one, who answer the phone when I made my appointment. Because I recognize her voice.Well I try to ignore that. I said Good Morning I have an appointment at 9:30amThat old rude lady took a look at me and said WELL THERE IS NO WAY YOU HAVE AN APPOINTMENT right now because the students are not here. ( SO BASICALLY CALL ME A LIER IN MY FACE) She was acting super rude and make me wait for almost 2 hours .While I was waiting there she was yelling at employees trowing things.. And giving an attitude to every costumer.everyone was so uncountable just hearing her .Well later an other employee came to me and said if I want to rescheduled because there is only one student doing haircuts.After I was waiting for 2 hours they wanted me to rescheduled.I wanted*hair color*highlights*hair cut*treatmentWell of course I didnt rescheduled and walk away ...

Worst danm place to get your hair dyed . if they do it wrong its your fault, and theyll literally sit there and have an argument with you over it . I understand their students but they have teachers there for a reason. THEY are suppost to know what their doing .. And correct them. Never going there again and I dont recommend anyone else to either.

I come here for all my hair coloring and cuts and have never left disappointed it, The students here do better than any of the salons i have tried here in town

I went to salon to have hair colored, cut, and styled. My hair was processed too long and gave me 2nd degree burns on my scalp under the supervision of her teacher. I was told That happens sometimes when dying hair, which is not true.I now risk losing employment (art model) due to the condition of my image that was damaged by this school.

Giving it honestly a 0...my daughter has been going here for school and they suck. She has busted her but where half the time there hasnt been teachers there to teach them. This place is screwed up and can not keep people on staff to help their students....i went to get my hair done by my daughter only to sit and here other students talk about her because she helped a girl who got a bad cut from there. They are not professional at all!! I feel bad for these kids, moms dads there trying to learn a profession and getting crap!!

Jennifer cut my sons hair yesterday and did an excellent job. The instructor, Miranda, cleaned it up just a bit.

My Experience there was beyond sub-par. Went in for Mani/Pedi for my Daughter and I. We also brought a friend in for a Pedi. The Staff were not that welcoming at 1st. Then we went to the back area to proceed with our Mani/Pedis and they did not do them correctly, was shotty ( yes I know they are learning, but I was told by my Girl they were Seniors in this area. My Pedi was horrible so was the Girls who came with us. Got a Mani thinking would be better , all of my nails were in different shapes round and semi square, they could not do designs, they used SUPERGLUE to affix my nails ( found out after the fact) Limited materials, the girls had to borrow from each other and not sanitized in between usage. Unprofessional and absolutely no direction from Instructors. No Instructor came to inspect the work done. Never again will I come here. I will go to a Salon or Exposito. I came home and fixed ( salvaged my nails). Waste of time & money. Live and learn.

I went to school at milan like all places it has its ups and downs but i would go there for a haircut before i would go anywhere else the instructors are amazing and help each student and client to make the client leave happy

Any time I had a facial at the Milan Institute they did a great job and it worked, especially the acne facial.
