I’m not sure how this cool might be now. But I recommend YOU do your DO DILIGENCE.I pulled my then 1 1/2 year old daughter out of that school because her teachers were tying up all the children in her classroom to their chairs.I had to stay silent because I filed a complaint against them and in order to “catch them in the act” they had me stay quiet. Be careful where you send your children. Visit at random times, anytime. The director (Indian women) was very nice but was never there. Was always away traveling. You have the rights to ask any school for the number of citations they have, and a copy of all the rules/laws that they have broken is public information. The investigation was successful, and now I’m speaking on it. They received a fine, they were required to make parents sign an acknowledgment that this unlawful act had occurred. Please please please (do your research) with this school or any school for that matter. As far as I know, the teachers were not fired. My child would say “no school! No school” and started fighting me whenever I would put her on the feeding chair. I knew something was off, always pay attention to your kids! My child was traumatized and so was I. Stay safe! Raise kind humans!

Best school choice I have made for my daughter!! She has been here since she was 18 months old and I love how caring the teachers are. I love the fact that it is a school and not a day care they actually teach the toddlers. My daughter is now 4 she has moved on to TK class one thing I love is the structure, children are very disciplined and very advanced. I highly recommend it if you are looking for a place for your child to learn, explore and advance in there education. All the staff is very friendly and caring. The director of the school is very easy to talk to and she always willing to work with you. The school is very safe they cameras in every classroom there is a gate and a code to get inside. They also have a kitchen in which they prepare healthy fresh lunch (optional).I highly recommend this school if you are looking for a structure educational place not a day care setting!!!

My son who just turned 5 has been going here since he was 2. We pulled him from a day care where he didnt want to be. He didnt enjoy playing and didnt seem to learn much. After searching we were happy to find Montessori of Anaheim. My son loves it here. He has many friends: classmates, teachers, director and assistants. He can already read and write. My wife and I are amazed and ecstatic in how he has grown up here. I love the tasks they do and all the learning tools that are available. Everyone enjoys the Holiday presentation. I know it is helping him in being more confident. Its so fun seeing them dressed up in matching attire or costumes, singing along. My son says, Ms Gnei is the best of all! Thank you staff, Keep up the good work!

My husband and I made a huge decision this past October to move our two toddler boys from an in house Day care, to Montessori Academy of Anaheim, and it was the best decision weve ever made as far as our boys development. We have noticed a tremendous change in both of our boys. They are only a year a-part and are so different from each other. They each are interested in completely different things, and we wanted a place were both can excel in what they love without separating them. Both my husband and I receive constant feedback from the teachers and the school director who is very involved and caring with the children and their individual development. We strongly recommend this school to any parent that is looking for a safe, caring, and nourishing place

My husband and I had extensively researched schools offering the official Montessori Method. We decided to enroll our son in Montessori Academy of Anaheim campus based on our interviews with and tours of different schools and campuses. Also Montessori Academy of Anaheim is located between State Collage blvd and La Palma avenue, just off the 91 Riverside Fwy. witch is close to our work.Unlike other Montessori schools, their campuses are clean and well kept. All classrooms have the official Montessori Method materials. Because the children are always engaged in lessons, we felt confident that we were not leaving our child at a standard daycare facility. From our interactions with other parents, it appears that the Montessori Academy of Anaheim parents have similar values regarding their childrens education. Our son has attended Montessori Academy of Anaheim campus since he was 18 months old. We have been very pleased with our sons teacher Ms. Sandy is excellent at what she do do, and we feel that our son has benefited tremendously from their guidance (and patience!). The teachers and staff keep an open line of communication with us, and they always welcome and take into account parent input, which we truly appreciate. Over the past year, we have seen our son blossom, and it is a testament to the quality of teachers and the program at Montessori Academy of Anaheim.

If you are looking for a small school with great teachers that gives their full attention to your kids, then this is the school for you. When we initially were looking for a preschool, we went to other locations around Anaheim.I feel that other locations either have too many kids, or bad location (near busy street), or sometimes I see a roomful of unhappy kids with unmotivated teachers. The first time we met Ms. Sandya and had a tour of the school, we were SOLD! It had all the criteria that we were looking for: 1) Happy Kids/Teachers 2) Clean space 3) Safety. There are 4 classes and it caters from 18 months through 2nd grade. My son attended MAA since he was 3 years old (Ms. Livis class, Ms. Gneis class, now hes in Ms. Evangline class). My daughter attended MAA since she was 18 months old (Ms. Jackie, and not shes in Ms. Livis class).Another plus about this school is the school is spacious and clean. The school is behind a secured gate within the churchs parking lot (away from busy street) and is very safe. The morning drop-off and evening pick-up is quick and convenient because of the churchs big parking lot.

My twins are 5 and have been going to this school since they were 2. I think one of the hardest decisions as a parent is sending your child to school. As a parent we want to make sure our child is safe, loved and developing. When my boys started school I faced a challenge that many parents know too well… My boys would cry every morning when I would drop them off. I would have both boys hanging on to me and nearly knocking me over. I read books, seeked advice, and questioned the teachers. The teachers were always very open with me and the director even had me hang around to observe after my boys had thought I had left. As a new parent I had learned that this was a phase that we would have to go through as a family. But to shed some light on the situation, the teachers always knew what to do. They would reassure me and were so caring with my boys. Never did they get frustrated and as time passed I noticed things got better. Being 5 they still have moments where they don’t want to go to school, but seeing how their teacher would talk to them just confirms my trust in the school and the teachers. Over the past 3 years my boys have been doing so well. I truly love the Montessori method of teaching. My boys learned to fold very early on and to this day, when asked, they would make their beds. Now they’re reading and writing sentences. I didn’t believe their teacher at first but she said within 2 weeks they’ll be reading and sure enough they did. Like any private school, tuition is expensive, but that is expected if you’re sending your child to a private school. It’s not any more expensive than any other private schools, but at least here I know the teachers will take care of my boys and help them develop at their rate. The director even worked with me on the tuition since I had twins. I’m happy to pay when I know my children are receiving the best. Recently, the school added in cameras and our tuition stayed the same. I remembered a comment that the director made to me, “I will hire more teachers if we need them.” At the time I was concerned about class sizes and she reassured me that she will not hesitate to hire more teachers or assistants if it’s needed. This showed me she’s not about the money. I couldn’t ask for more in a school and the staff. I truly feel like the friends my boys have made and the relationship that we have here at the Montessori has set the standard for a school. I am so thankful for the teachers at this school because they’ve provided such a loving and caring environment for the students to learn. They help each student with their individual needs.I hope this review will help everyone searching for a school. Whatever criteria you’re searching for in a school, this is definitely a school worth checking out.
