Bus 488 needs to slow down in the Windmere neighborhood they drive very fast thru our neighborhood and have become very dangerous to kids and animals in the neighborhood. I figure a school bus would be more aware than most but they drive so fast I cant even see if the driver is male or female. So please slow down. The speed limit is 25.

The best job Ive ever had, and still have! I have close relationships with my managers, supervisors and co-workers. I love the kids and their parents and the chance to interact with them, and enjoy operating the fantastic equipment we use. The wages are fair, although thats hardly why I continue to work there, its way more than a job, its an absolute pleasure. Thank you reliant for everything youve done for my family and I and for the community. We transport students safely, and as on time as is safe.

Do not expect to catch the 91 from the 55 @ Diamond center as proposed on bus route online.91 leaves before 55 arrives at the 8 - 8:05 timeThe info online is deceiving🤔??

Straight outta college, joined the awesome Family of Reliant. In all honesty, I read most negative comments about this place and I have to say. Ive been working here for 5 years and still going, I see some people get into trouble countless times and I have witnessed them being given chances countless time and time again to do right. If you no longer are working at Reliant its because you cant do your job. Of course we have regular complaints about buses being late but you the customers dont consider all the elements at work. This job saved my life. The Operation Manager is a very hands on leader along with his officials the safety team Roxanne, Kyle, G, and Ron, do their best to serve the city of Anchorage the best way they can. They use every available tool at their reach. Reliant believes in giving chances to their employees because even though the company is going through temporary financial crisis, its the least they can do for their loyal employees, to still have an income and a put food on the table. Those who got fired from this place, Im sorry you didnt have what it takes to perform your duties the best way you can. The only thing the job demands is your attention, but if you cant afford it, please save yourself some time and dont apply. Our mission is to deliver our passenger safely and on time. SAFELY remember that when your child shows up at your door. Thank you.

I had a personal.experience with one of their drivers at his home that caused my poor recommendation. Abraham Woods came in his house acting very aggressively and angry with me even though I was only there trying to make their home safer for their family. With guns laying out in the open and his aggressive nature it didnt seem like a safe place to work so I packed up and left. Definitely gonna be driving my kids to school because I couldnt even imagine one of them being stuck on a guy like thats school bus.

Ridiculous how there’s never a set driver for a route. School gets out at 3:30 and their scheduled drop off time is 3:55 but she gets home at 4:20. There’s always a new driver on their route and they seem to just make their own routes hence why they’re always late🤦‍♀️

This is a sad organization that has the Alaska classic benefit of monopoly. They do the majority of the ASD routes.All employees here are hard up, i would say they are waiting or dont know any better. For example the regional manager himself has stated on multiple occasions that he is waiting for one of his children to finish school and he is out ASAP.The organization does not take care of employees, it is left up to employees to take care of employees to take care of others, which is volatile at best. The training people are put through before completing their CDL is entirely thrown out, a waste of time, and illustrates the disorder and incompetence present. Student safety is verbally stressed, when in reality it is ignored more often than not, any on the job concerns about student safety are met with snark and blatantly offensive remarks. Im convinced it is only stated due to contractual obligations or recording.If you end up working here, take note from those poor senior employees and personally track your time, because it will go missing or be off for some reason.After leaving this company, i have not heard a single positive thing, including from other businesses.If you call them and get poor customer service and an aggressive attitude, dont fret. That is the standard and is exactly how employees are addressed as well.Needless to say i am glad that i left and i am glad my child no longer is put in the questionable position of utilizing services offered by this company.

Reliant is a good place to work. Doing what we all do there brings a sense of satisfaction.
