As we are moving, we have to say goodbye to this school with a very heavy heart. We will have very high standards while finding the next program for our twins, you have set the bar very high! Here, we have never had to worry about our kids, we always knew they would be well taken care of. Thank you for all your support and understanding in this journey of parenthood. Our kids learned a lot -- from ABCs to compassion and care. Thank you to all of the hard-working staff, we appreciate all of your dedication to our kids. As they say -- it takes a big heart to shape little minds.

My daughter and son attended Green House Montessori for over 3 years. We love the staff especially Mr. Raj. Mr. Raj is very organized and has the biggest heart. He is always so thoughtful and generous. Both of my kids are now in elementary school and were well prepared in reading and math. They learned to love learning and gained so many creative skills while at this Montessori school.

Our son attended Green House Montessori for about 2 years and we had a great experience. They have wonderful staff and Mr Raj would go above and beyond to cater to childrens needs. When the Ann Arbor public schools close on snow days, Green House Montessori remained open (as long as the staff can make it). The field trips are awesome. Our son really enjoyed the Spanish language program and made a lot of friends, whom he misses dearly upon our relocation!

We loved it for our twins who attended the school for about 1.5 years. We moved out of Ann Arbor which is why we had to discontinue. The teachers are very loving and caring and our kids still remember them after about 6 months of leaving. Mr. Raj is also very loving and considerate, he would always be smiling and understanding of us. They have a nice daily schedule where kids go on a walk outside and play outdoors (weather permitting, of course). The regular school trips were also great learning experiences for children, they even went for apple picking once and were super excited about it even after months. My kids were always happy to go to school and rarely did we have a tantrum in the morning. And I always picked them up happy and eager to come back which was very satisfying for us as well. I wish we could be there longer!

My husband and I are so happy that our daughter is enjoying her time at school. It is not easy to send your first child to school but seeing what a ball she is having makes it a breeze and we have the wonderful staff and administration to thank for that. The activities you plan, the rooms your decorate, the friendships you help foster, its all incredible! It is helping our daughter believe that school is fun, which is incredibly important. We are proud of the strides she has made academically and cannot wait to see what happens next!

Our son attended Green House for three years. Overall, our experience with the school was excellent. His teachers were outstanding. Recently, he began attending kindergarten at our local public school, and his reading and math skills are at the 2nd grade level. So the educational value was great. Also, the student population is quite diverse, which I think is a huge plus. This school is also a great value, as other Ann Arbor Montessori schools are incredibly expensive in comparison. The administrators are also very caring and flexible. My only complaints, and I think these are minor, is that at times, the communication about school events could have been better, and some of the parents were not very involved. But that last bit isnt really the schools fault. One thing to know is that, because this is Montessori, they dont have computers and other technology resources. This wasnt a drawback for us, but its something to be aware of, and typical for any Montessori school that is actually sticking to Montessori principles. Overall, I highly recommend this school, especially if you have a child with strong academic skills and you value diversity.

My toddler spent a few months here. My experience was very good. Mr. Raj and Miss Janet and her team were very caring and helped my kid in every way. The kids get to do various activities during the day. They have various field trips which are also very good. Also the kids have a good summer activities too. The rates are very reasonable for a montessori in Ann Arbor area.My kid enjoyed going to the Montessori.

All my three kids have gone through Greenhouse Montessori. I am so happy I took my then two children out of home-daycare and put them in this quaint little school - class sizes are small, but large enough to have great dynamics, and my children get individual care and attention. I wish I had found this school earlier! My children have learned so much, and bloomed under the guidance and exceptionally great teaching of (specifically) Ms. Janet and Ms. Andrea. And I cannot say enough good of the manager, Mr. Raj - he is a very, very kind, gentleman who looks out for the best interests of his students and parents. He frequently takes photos and videos of all children as he is sensitive that many parents would love to see more of the achievements of their children - plus Mr. Raj is genuinely happy with each students progress. Greenhouse Montessori takes students to both in-house and outside field trips which is so exciting for the children. Both my husband and I, and extended family, also very much enjoy the childrens performances that are organized during holidays. Our family has had such good, enriching experiences at Greenhouse Montessori. We are all very happy, and will keep in contact with teachers and Mr. Raj for many years after we leave.

We loved Green House Montessori and the experiences both of our children had there. We had two children attend 4 year old preschool at Green House. I loved how the teachers really learned about my child and worked with them at their particular stage of development. One of my children is particularly driven and he didnt encounter some of the work he did in preschool until he got to 1st grade! Both of my kids were well prepared for Kindergarten and were both reading by halfway through preschool. The teachers were extremely engaged and really seemed to care about our kids. My eldest often wanted to go back and visit when his sister was in preschool. Our kids made great friends and really blossomed. Thank you Green House!

It very sad to see unhappy people who have nothing better to do than write bad reviews. I have two children at Greenhouse and have been very satisfied the school has high academic standards. The school is great and the staff is wonderful. My 4 year old can read and also is doing great in math. I am very happy to have my children here. My 18 month is also doing great with his sounds.

Our daughter was enrolled in Greenhouse Montessori for 4 years. We found the Director and teachers to be accommodating, warm, and good teachers. It was obvious to us that they care a lot about the students. Our daughter learned a lot, made many strong bonds with the teachers and friends, and thinks often of the family she made while at her home away from home. It really is a family environment at the school. No school is perfect, but I can vouch that the teachers, director really do care about the students emotional and academic well being.

Green House Montessori is a great place where children learn from each other being unique. Inclusion and diversity is a super plus of this School. My son Gabriel has Down Syndrome and he was treated with respect, love and integrity. The School always encouraged us on keep working always in a positive way! Mr. Raj is a very gentle human being that always care for his students. My son always found comfort in him. The school environment feels so homy :). Miss Janet was Gabos teacher, she always cared about him with a loving approach. We will miss this place. Thanks for everything :)

One cannot talk about Greenhouse Montessori without talking about Mr. Raj. He is the heart and soul of this little Montessori school. He makes it feel like a family, stays late we we are stuck on the road due to traffic, gives treats to the kids when they feel sad. He has become an extended family member whom you can count on.As always, the Montessori method promotes clam, respect and a kind learning environment that our daughter cherishes.

I just wanted to send out a warning to all parents to please not send your child here. I do not have one in the school although we almost placed him here. We lived at green brier apartments and they rent a facility here right in front of where I live. Today I just witnessed a teacher physically abuse a child! this is completely uncalled for, no reason is justifiable. She also constantly yells at the kids while outside, and just for being kids, quite honestly the children werent even doing anything wrong really, they cant even touch a stick with one finger without getting yelled at or a blade of grass for goodness sake.. they are children!!! The child she touched physically was sitting the wrong way according to her. He was on his knees in the grass and he didnt sit on his butt as she asked so she yelled at him, grabbed both arms which clearly to me was quite hard and slammed him on his butt.. yes I said slam! I am not over exaggerating here. I am repotting this place today after writing the review! this happened literally right outside my window and saw it clear as day! The extreme yelling by this woman is also unnecessary.. there is a young teacher with her, much more gentle with kids.

Green House Montessori has been the school of choice for our sons preschool and kindergarten years. We found GHMS to be the perfect place, thanks to truly caring and highly dedicated educators, for the personal growth of a very young inquisitive mind. A well-balanced and mutually trusting collaboration between educators and parents was readily established, and we are sure we and our son will treasure his years at GHMS forever!-David & Maria Dolors
