Highly recommended! I was in it for personal development and exploring a new hobby. I enrolled in the ASA101 course in early June and came out to do the in-person training in early August. SailTime sent me the ASA textbook/manual on sailing for beginners, which was super informative and straightforward in terms of conveying everything one should know at this stage, from parts of the boat to basic maneuvers and drills along with navigation rules. I felt I was adequately prepared for the in-person portion of the course. Yvonne was our instructor and was amazing. First of all, I enjoyed having a small class of three—small enough for you to focus on your skill building but also to nurture the spirit of teamwork that is essential to sailing. Yvonne was thorough in her guidance on applying our new-found knowledge to our time on the water, very knowledgeable, and patient. Thank you, SailTime, for this excellent experience! I look forward to continuing my sailing studies with you in the near future!

Highly recommend SailTime Annapolis for sailing lessons and certifications. Their Captains and staff members are top-notch, very friendly, and extremely knowledgeable! I just recently took the ASA 101 class and all of us passed with flying colors! The Captain did an outstanding job teaching the students, who were at various experience levels. I definitely plan on taking the next certification - ASA 103 - with them!

What a great experience. Our instructor, Gary was very kind and very patient. He managed to teach while having us perform the tasks. I have a fair amount of experience with small boats, but have been intimidated by larger ones. I have much more confidence now.ASA 103 has a lot of material and I feel that I was able to learn a lot while having a great time. The management at SailTime Annapolis is equally as wonderful. I didnt have my ASA number with me, and Tammy went out of her way to make sure that I would be properly registered and credited. If you want to learn how to sail in a relaxed caring environment, this is your place.

My wife and I just completed a two day ASA 101 sailing course at SailTime Annapolis boating club and sailing school. It was a fabulous experience. Our instructor Captain Amy was extremely knowledgeable and patient and gave us a lot of hands on sailing experience as well as lots of knowledge about sailing. The SailTime facilities and staff are first rate and the owners Tammy and Todd are very professional. I would highly recommend Sailtime and Capt. Amy to anyone who wants to learn to sail. The experience has inspired us to join SailTime and continue to sail.

ASA 101 completed Labor Day Weekend. Capt. Tony was the instructor you want, knowledgeable, patient, and full of anecdotes, tips, and advice. During classroom time he took concepts that seemed to be difficult to grasp and broke them down into understandable pieces, always with the caveat, once youre out there, this will make sense, and it did. The Benneteau 22 Day Sailer was a great boat, very responsive, and perfect for those times of little wind. A great place to learn to sail

I cant recommend SailTime enough. We started our sailing journey here by taking their ASA 101 and 103 courses. We later became lite members for a season and enjoyed it thoroughly. It was such a stress-free and easy way to get out onto the water and made for a great weekend escape. Tammy and Todd run a great base and are a pleasure to interact with. Their team keeps the boats in great condition and anytime there was a small issue they ensured it was remedied right away.

We are delighted to be joining Sailtime Annapolis. From our first inquiry, Tammy gave us excellent, complete information in a welcoming manner. Todd and Tammy showed us around the Marina. The location is excellent and the fleet very impressive. We had the pleasure of working with Todd and Tammy in Havre de Grace and know the care they take with each member and also with the maintenance of the fleet. We can’t wait to get started.

Great team, great program. Called up on short notice and Tammy was super friendly and helpful in answering all my questions and going out of her way to get me signed up for the ASA sailing classes 101 AND 103. Captain Pete and Captain Amy taught the courses and I appreciated how they did as much as possible on the water as opposed to the classroom, to make sure the concepts stuck and we had fun learning. They both had decades of experience in many different types of seas and boats. They were Covid sensitive and I felt safe throughout. A great learning experience and a great way to get a sense of progress and growth back into your life.

We spent a day with Captain Pete learning the basics of sailing; classroom and on the water. Suffice it say, it was a fulfilling, educational and fun day. Sail Time Annapolis is very organized, the boats are beautiful and well maintained. Extra focus on safety and cleanliness during the COVID 19 crisis was greatly appreciated. We would highly recommend Sail Time Annapolis for anyone, whether a beginner or a seasoned sailor. Great experience!

Highly recommend SailTime for anyone that wants access to a fantastic sailboat without all the additional work and expense that goes into the purchase and maintenance of a boat on your own. We signed up as a family for the ASA 101 sailing course through SailTime. We had a great time learning on the Chesapeake Bay in a Beneteau First 22. Wed read about SailTime membership and were considering our options to continue sailing more often. After being in the Horn Point Harbor Marina, interacting with Tammy, Todd and the SailTime team, we were sold on the membership even before Tammy had a chance to tell us about the brand new Beneteau Oceanis 38.1 that was about to arrive with classic membership spots still available. We have been able to take the boat out often in the last several weeks, beyond our expectations. We have really enjoyed the ease of access to this beautiful boat, the care and service Tammy, Todd, and the team provide, and the fantastic location of the marina. As you can see from the photos, escaping the workweek early to catch a sunset sail, or waking up and drinking morning coffee on the dock and listening to the bay wake up...is pretty amazing.

We have been members of SailTime in Florida, therefore we were able to rent a sailboat for a day in Annapolis. The associates at SailTime Annapolis were very accommodating, even to check with the representative in Florida to determine what model of boat we were most familiar. The equipment at SailTime Annapolis is in excellent condition, obviously well maintained. Without question I highly endorse SailTime Annapolis.
