I truly think this school is amazing! I love all the staff and you can see they love their job too! You can see the passion in everything they do there. I trust this place with all my heart!

Hands down the BEST pre-school in Anitoch, and all East Contra Costa County, I cant say enough good things about The Child Day School. My daughter attended TCDS for about 3 years, from the age of 2 to almost 5, and she really loves the entire staff, especially her last teacher.Located in a modern building designed specifically for young children (small toilets, low sinks, etc.) , TCDS looks and feels like a small school. There are separate classrooms with age-appropriate activities, equipment, and furniture. Kids are well-fed with a good lunch and healthy snacks throughout the day. Best of all, the outside doors have an electronic keypad that each family is given a unique PIN code to unlock, so not even the mail-man gets in here without security clearance!But I was even more impressed with the staff. Not only do they really care about the kids, but they understand how to encourage & redirect their behavior in a positive way, without punishment. The end result is that for 3 years, day in and day out, my daughter LOVED to go to school, and as a parent, that is absolutely priceless.TCDS did an incredible job preparing my daughter for kindergarten and I would HIGHLY recommend them to any parent.
