This school is among the highest rated, if not the highest rated, elementary school in the High Desert/Victor Valley and for good reason. The teachers, staff and administrators are exceptional and deserve their due credit. What really sets Rio Vista apart is parental interaction.Theres a significant waiting list of parent volunteers, which itself should indicate the dedication of parents and families towards quality education for their children. Theres at least a dozen or so parents on campus during regular school hours.What many dont realize is Rio Vista being a public school and not a private or charter school. Truly a blessing that my family lives within the boundaries enabling my son to attend the best school in the High Desert.

Rio has always helped me and if I could I would want to stay their for highschool. But they have great staff they care about the students and the parents are very involved in campus. Rio has the best staff and I have been to 3 different schools and I love Rio vista so much better then another school I have been to. If you are ever going to put your kid into a school put them into Rio vista I promise it is a great school. Once a Lion always a Lion. They have great inspiration on us students and help us stay strong and work hard.love you Rio -destiny

It is a very good school, there are plenty of room for the students to play .And the teachers are incredibly smart and kind. There rules are reasonable , safe ,and followed.I am a proud student at Rio Vista.

Good school good staff, do not agree with making reports based off cnn news reports. pick up and drop needs improvement. all in all good school

Rio Vista is a great school, no question. The staff, the students, and everyone in general are/is very friendly. I am glad I could call myself a Lion.

Spend a little amount of time In the high desert and you will have to lower your standards
