Personally, I love the staff and have been knowing the for about 9 years or so. My sister and brother attended Sandia and now my children attend their. The Bullying was out of control and the new principal seems non interested on that subject. We have actually thought about building a case , luckily for them Covid hit and the school was shut down. I’ve had no problems with my children’s teachers they are caring and the sage program is amazing, their teachers are also dolls ❤️.

Went here back in 87-90 when it was first built, had Mrs Thorpe in 3rd grade and Mrs Duncan in 4th ,it looks like a prison now, what happened?! I remember getting detention for writing on the pillars with a marker.

My son has been attending school here since pre-k last year. I have heard lots of negative about this school, but that has not been our experience. My son loves this school and the staff members are great. I couldnt have asked for a better kindergarten teacher for him. Cant wait to see who his first grade teacher will be.

Worst school ever very racist they are sending ALL black kids home for head lice. As they told me they send 5 AFRICAN AMERICANS even though black kids do NOT get lice I took my daughter to the Doctors and the Doctor cleared her from having lice took her back up to the school and the school still said she had lice. The school sent her home on Thursday I took my daughter to the doctors Saturday I took her back on Tuesday and when they said my daughter still couldnt go back I had the school call the Doctors I took my daughter to and the school nurse told the doctors that my daughter got lice between Saturday and Tuesday..... THEN WHY THE HELL DID YOU SEND MY DAUGHTER HOME ON SATURDAY.. So your telling me a school Nurses opinion is better than a real doctors opinion.

The school is nice but I hope that the principal would do a little bit more fun things but she is alright and the food is still not good but you make friends

The food is nasty, the food is rotten most of the time, we have barely any p.e. equipment so we don’t have a lot of fun. And the staff treats 7th and 8th graders like they are the worst in the school.

This school is pretty chill i mean the food is kinda gross but i hope the principal makes it fun-er but tbh its kinda nice here

The best school I have ever gone to I have gone to this school for 6 years the and the teachers teach really awesome the only bad thing is the food is nasty so I think you should bring your own lunch but yeah its a awesome school

I have got bullied and the principal does nothing but talk to them and they still kept on bulling me but i made good friends there so Idk about this school but its ok because of your friends who have your back

This school is just amazing my sis goes here there are great teachers andamazing principals it might be a title 1 school but it is just amazing going on too my 7th year here it is amazing they have amazing staff to thank u for the support Sandia Academy!!!!!!!

Kids are not safe at this school. my wife and my mother in law had two issues in the past week where they felt threatened with my 22 moth old daughter. first time at a after school event, and second time picking up my two older boys. My niece had to just change schools because she was being bullied so bad she was terrified and the school did nothing about it, instead they just lost an honor student over

Both my boys go here and there pritty happy do have some issues with bullying but thats Elementary school for you

They dont get too know the parents on a one on one basis
