I’ve been in this school for many years. It has grown and changed every day since I started. The abilities of the students and instructors has risen so much! Im impressed every day by the growth of myself and everyone around me! The environment in the school pushes you to be even better without making you feel incapable of learning. First of all, I want to say I love it here. The friendships, the experience, and the personal benefits I gained are incredible. Over the three going on four years I’ve been training here, I’ve made some incredible friendships and memories. Every class I go to, I learn or improve. Every class is better than the last. Mr Bautista is an incredible instructor; Every class we work harder. And every class is more enjoyable because of the friendships I’ve made. Everyone is friendly and it makes the dojo more of a kind and fun environment. Every class mr Bautista pushes us to be our best. It’s inevitable that I will continue until I cannot anymore. My parents could’ve spent money elsewhere but they chose here and they don’t regret whatsoever. I’ve learned so much about taekwondo, as well as kicking and punching. And lastly; sparring class, clearly my favorite extra class. I love sparring (something that took me a while to like, is now my favorite). Sparring gives me and everyone else a great idea of a real life situation. And it allows us to somewhat to an extent, test our skills. Something me and many other love. I’m glad I enrolled to such a friendly and fun place. 10/10 recommend.

We transferred in after an awful experience at another school. The staff are caring, friendly, and amazing. We couldnt be happier.We knew changing schools would add some time to the black belt journey. Watching our son flourish and rediscover his love of martial arts was worth it.He earned his black belt a year ago and told us he was finished. After a year off, he said he was getting rusty and wantsef to earn his second degree. There was no decision to be made regarding what school to turn to. We are happy to be back.

My daughter, granddaughter and I are all members at Champions. The instructors and the support staff are all great people to work with. Any questions ranging from the class training to schedules, etc are answered fully. Safety is stressed with everything we learn. Also stressed is that you work at your own level and speed. If you are thinking you are too old to start, I would say to you to try it and see how it goes. I was a little hesitant but have found that it is fantastic. Some of the things we are learning are easy and some are hard but I intend to stay with the program. Im already more flexible than Ive been in a long time. And weve only started a few months ago! The students at Champions are awesome. Everyone helps and supports each other. While working toward our three generations of black belts its nice to know everyone in the school is behind us. Come join the fun!

They do a great job in stilling confidence in the kids

I could study martial arts at a number of studios in the Fox Valley. I could get exercise at any one of the gyms popping up everywhere. I continue to go to Champions because of all the bonus features I get there. It allows me to focus on details even when my personal life is crazy. It allows me to let go of the worry and self-conscious thoughts and just *do* it (and do it LOUD!). It has made me humble myself when the grown up in me resists learning something from people who are younger than me. I am forced to be flexible when one instructor decides to shake things up. And best of all, its a family owned and operated business. I know that my money goes here into my community. And when I want to be lazy and skip a week (or two?) of classes, I can count on at least one instructor asking me about it. ;-)This is the one exercise regimen, the one self-help plan, the one life skills class Ive stuck with over and over again. I promise you, its worth every penny.

I enrolled my daughter first for exercise and personal growth needs and saw results immediately. Made my child happier and my parenting easier=) Very quickly, the urge to join myself kicked in and I am really enjoying it after only 6 classes. The extended family experience of other students of all ages and the instructors is invaluable and heart-warming. We are loving the action, interaction and learning so much. The addition of this program into our lives has been literally life altering and we are thankful.

What is there to say? Best place ever! My son, Owen, went there with many behavior issues, and has greatly improved. He loves going to class, and I love the fact that all the instructors sincerely care about him and want him to grow and be proud of himself, flaws and all. I really enjoy the one on one time I have with the instructors. They are great at listening and also so patient. I dont regret putting Owen in this school one bit, just wish I did it sooner! They are an extended family, and I am so glad that their teaching style is family oriented. Powerful Words each month help Owen understand key characteristics he needs to have to be a great, confident, loving, young man! Its great that they help to mold him into the young man I always knew he could be, (just hard when I am a single parent.) Thank you Champions Family!

Great people, great program. Our son has been a part of Champions MA for 2+ years and loves going. The flexible schedule has been key, we can always fit class time in around other sport schedules. Not only is their martial arts program fantastic, but I love their character development curriculum. The instructors take time each and every class to discuss the essential skills of being a responsible citizen in their community. We visited and assessed several martial art studios and waited a couple of years before committing to Champions. We intended to just start with my son to help with his self esteem, but after a month of my daughter and I watching him, she had to be a part too! It has strengthened their relationship. I am so glad we waited because this is the perfect place for my kids.

Champions has been awesome. It teaches karate but the life lessons are more important. In 7 years I have seen my child and many others grow and become strong, confident young adults. Love the school and the people. It most definitely feels like a family. It has help my son tremendously with his combined add/adhd. So much so that we have taken him off of his medication! We have seen so much growth with him. He also loves going to class. It is a martial arts school but then it is so much more. They want to see not only the child in their classes succeed but also the whole family succeed.

I like going to martial arts class and have for the past seven years. The program has helped me build life skills, like confidence, discipline, and respect to name a few. The instructors know how to help if you need it, and help in a respectful manner. They also get to know you as an individual, your strengths, and weaknesses.

My daughter went here and loved her teacher Mr. Bautista. He was great! When we went to cancel I gave a one week notice. I then Had told them we were cancelling right away and not to charge me for the upcoming month. They charged me for a full month ($160+). And I asked for a refund- he said there was nothing they could do. Even so- I should have been prorated for one week and not one full month. Some of the teachers are great, but the management is not.

Our daughter responded immediately to the expert instruction and positive influence at Champions. She seemed to be just waiting for the opportunity to focus her natural leadership skills and her parents certainly appreciate the extra support with gaining positive life skills. The classes help her meet the pediatrician recommended daily exercise minutes every child needs to thrive and be healthy. She loves the challenge of the forms and has honed an organic desire to do her best!

Absolutely amazing Martial arts school, I called several schools before we found our way to Champions .. I was WOWd by their commitment to personal development and Character building. Although much disputed by my son at first, I signed him up for martial arts at Champions about 6 months ago. He was nervous and afraid to try something new, especially without wanting to do so on his own free will. I saw a transformation right during his very first class. The second he broke his first board, the confidence grew, the respect for me grew, and the start of a whole new set of skills has begun. The instructors are fun yet stay focused on the right skills to keep kids motivated and on track. There isnt a doubt in my mind that this just may be one of the best things Ive ever done for my son - and he absolutely loves it since his first day!

I have had a better time then I ever thought I would. I enrolled my 8yr old daughter so she could learn to defend herself. Not only has she excelled in marital arts,but at home and school as well. She joined a mentor program at school and does chores at home without being asked. From time to time she even gets me out on the mat for learning and fun. I had made lots of friends as has she and a few have even helped me with some real life problems as well. Anyone who doesnt stop in to at least watch a class is missing out on the fun things in life.

My teenaged children and I joined the adult class just under a year ago and let me tell you its one of the best decisions Ive ever made.
