I train here 3 times a week. This has been one of the friendliest and awesome places. You have world class professors. The co-founders of the school, actively teaching has been several times world champions. Professor Andre is the kindest and coolest one. He will help you with the techniques and will really improve your game. One of the things that really stands out to me is the humility the school has, everyone is working on making themselves better and helping each other. I highly advise to try this gym if anyone is looking for a good friendly environment with world class teaching :) Salam

I’ve been training Brazilian Jiu Jitsu for years and have been fortunate enough to train under some of the best in world. Recently, I’ve been looking to enroll my 4-year old son in classes and was looking for reputable gyms in our area. I stumbled upon Brazil-021 as it was literally right down the street from my house and their schedule worked well with my schedule. Extremely glad I did, as the instructors are top notch! From the minute we walked in, everyone was extremely nice and treated you like family which made it really easy for my son to get acclimated with everything. Professor Andre Terencio’s style of teaching is great and unlike anything I’ve experienced before. In such short time, I’m already seeing significant improvements in my bjj game.

I started training at Brazil 021 about a year ago, and I am In my mid 40’s. I had never wrestled or participated in martial arts. My daughter introduced me to BJJ, and after watching her train, I decided to train as well. It has been a fantastic experience. The atmosphere is great. Everyone is there to help everyone get better. The staff is great. Professor Thiago is exceptionally patient and kind. Training there is positive experience. I would recommend this as an environment to learn a valuable self-defense/life skill and a place to grow personally.

I live close by and was planning to check out the school. I do not know how good the school is, but the website is misleading, as their main instructor apparently does not teach there anymore and left the school months ago and one of the other assistant coaches has not taught there since the summer (I asked around because I wanted to be sure what I am signing up for in case I did)...So that says a lot about the school credibility. Misrepresenting who teaches is a big deal in my opinion....

I have been training bjj with Brazil 021 in Chicago and Arlington Heights now for over 10 years. Prior to Brazil 021 I trained at 2 other schools. I can tell you that you will not find more reasonable rates for top notch technical instruction in a safe environment in all Chicagoland. Bjj is such a great skill to have! Stop by for a class. You will not be disappointed.

My daughters started training with Brazil-021 in 2012. I highly recommend if you have a young son or daughter that would like to learn Brazilian Jiu Jitsu from experienced, seasoned Black Belts.

Called to find out information and I couldnt get a straight answer about classes or prices. The price continued to change from 100 to 150 per class where most places are between 80 to 100 per class. They were not able to tell me how many classes in each program either. The answers changed throughout the phone call which increased the price of course. I wont be going there if I cant even get straight answers over the phone it felt very shady.

Ive been practicing Brazilian Jiu-jitsu for over 7 years now (4 with Brazil 021). Brazil-021 houses some of the best BJJ black belts in the world. All of whom are extremely personable, humble, and will lay down their lives for their students. I cannot stress enough, no matter your dedication level (professional, hobbyist, or beginner) everyone is treated like family and are welcome!

I come to this academy when in town visiting family. The instruction is top notch and everyone had a great attitude.

The instructor thinks he is some bjj God. Overpriced place. Just few people training there...that says it all. I went to watch them from outside a few times and decided not to even give it a try. Not worth the time.
