Had a good two years here (junior and senior year).Pros: great teachers, smaller classes, and mandatory meetings called POWWOW to motivate students and teach them valuable life lessons. The overall atmosphere is simply fantastic here.Cons: While the facility is great, there were some teachers that refused to help students after school (tutoring). The cafeteria food leaves a lot to be desired, so be sure to bring a lunch. The board of directors needs to be more involved and stop giving parents and students delayed responses to events and questions.I also wanna take a moment to say that if you show any signs of athleticism, you will be told to join a sport, guaranteed. 👌🏻

My son attended Newman in elementary before leaving to go play sports. Attempted to reapply his Junior year. Turned everything in that is listed on application. I was asked for criminal record for my son because school had no disciplinary record for him. Contacted the superintendent and the request was voided. Decided not to allow my straight A honor roll son to attend. Sad that the assumption was made that my African American son had obtained a criminal record.

Not great go some where else

It is a good school, but a lot of the kids leave and dont come back. Plus there need to be better teachers.
