My experience has been so poor I have list faith completely with the way this school handles education. My daughter has been behind and recognized as showing the signs of dyslexia by both teachers and her pediatrician. This school has done nothing about it. We have made the teachers aware and have requested her to get the help she needs to overcome this obstacle. All they have done in my opinion is drag their heels and now tell us they want to hold her back. They are making her suffer when it is not her fault.

When teachers and the principal refuse to recognize bullying there is a leadership issue. Keith Boyd seems to be at the head of the issues even with parents bring it to his attention. He thinks if another student stabbing another students shoes its a non issue. Or students saying I f**ked your mother is not an issue since it has nothing to do with academics. If you hate your kids you will love this school.

Ive had not one, not two, but 3 children attend this elementary and I am very pleased with the faculty. Ms. Perales, my youngest daughters 3rd grade, home room teacher goes above and beyond what is ever asked or expected of an educator! 1st class educating to our 1st class learners!

The principal and teachers disregard volunteers. There is very little communication, even if the parent initiates the conversation. Many major concerns are ignored and it does not feel like a safe place for students to learn and grow. Wish children did not have to attend here.

Best school ever! My 6th grade teacher Mrs. Lee was the best!

A close friend of mines sister is being brushed off when attempting to get the school to do something about a bully targeting and harassing her son on the daily. This is honestly terrible and in light of recent events id feel like schools might care a little bit more. The principal says that he does not care about what the students say or what names they call eachother unless it involves academics. This man care so much about being p.c. he refuses to do or say anything for fear of doing or saying the wrong thing.This kid is smart, sweet, and kind and they refuse to do anything more than next to nothing.Its not ok to reenforce bully behavior by brushing off concequences. I doubt theyd do anything until verbal abuse becomes physical, and even then i doubt theyd take any hard position.

I hate this school.Every day it was always drama and the teachers would not help. My teacher Mrs,Hernadez was the best 6th grade teacher ever she was very helpful and like if u were stuck on a subject in history class she would break it down for u to understand better. overall that was lame.

I love ellis my teacher was Ms.Elliott. she was awesome

I used to go there until I moved to Wisconsin. shoutout to mrs. vigil and Mr. Chamberlain Mr.. Ramoz or something like that I heard he passed away so RIP to you love this school so many memories there. last but not least Mrs. Ramoz whom I will always remember she does not teach there any more though.

Probably one of the worst elementary schools in Arlington. I saw two fights there during their breakfast and lunch. Horrible teachers that never scheduled any conferences and Vice Principals rarely returned calls and I was never able to meet with the Principal. The students are really bad there and if you want your kid to get bullied this is the gladiator school where he can learn to either fight back or get picked on all year.General low state wide testing scores and teachers who are rude to the kids. I did not feel safe having my kid here.

The only problem I have mainly with this school is that when I try to call them to report one of my kids being sick and that they will not be in school. NOBODY answers the phone or it would go to a busy signal or a voice automatic comes on saying your call did not go through... NAWW!! U THINK!!??.. Even after waiting around 10:30 or 11:00.. I still would get the busy signal.. Weeks later I would then get a call from sumone asking whats the reason for their absence and why didnt I not call and notified attendance office.. After explaining to them the reason and that I have tried calling.. I would then get hung up on.. But overall SOME(note how I said SOME) of the teachers are nice.. A few of the teachers Ive noticed while eating lunch with my kids are mainly up right rude to the kids. I have had confronted one myself about how they are treating the kids and it wasnt pretty. If I had enough income to just take my kids out of this school and transfer them to a much better one.. I would in a heartbeat..
