My daughter was only in this daycare for maybe 4 or 5 months. The director was nice and responsive which was great. Her first teacher was very nice when she was in the 2s classroom. Then she got moved up a class and things went down hill quickly. She came home every day for a week straight in potty soaked clothing. Not only was she having accidents every day( which she never does at home) but also she was still wet when I picked her up which means no one noticed & who knows how long she was sitting in pee clothing. I mentioned it to the teacher and got a we will offer her the bathroom more often response but I watched the cameras and she was never went up to. When watching the cameras it was rare to see a teacher actually interacting with the kiddos, they were in and out of the storage closet looking at their phones more often than not. I have waited months to write this review because I put my child into a new daycare and wanted to see if she would have the same issues. She has not ever had an accident not even one time at the new daycare. Not only that but she is in such a better mood when I pick her up from school and actually has artwork/projects that she has completed. Its like shes a complete different child after school. La petite sold me on being a STEM school but I do not believe it is implemented very well at this location. There is not 1 single person to blame here but this school seams to be more about the money and amount of kids and less about teaching them. Just wanted to put this out there for other parents who are curious.

I seriously love this school so much! My daughter was at home with me for the first 10 months. I am a first time mom so the thought of daycare absolutely terrified me and being a mom you don’t really trust anyone but yourself with your child. But my cousin who worked there at the time told me to try them out . & I am so glad I did! This school is nothing short but amazing! In Kennahs first two weeks of going there . She learned so much! It was a total 360! They’re so hands on and loving to these little ones! I am so thankful to be apart of this school! They are always so responsive and helpful if you have any questions. Emily always goes above and beyond to make sure everything is taken care of! The teachers I cannot thank enough! They truly are the starting foundation of these children lives. As much of heart and soul these teachers put into these kiddos .. they deserve a raise and so much more! educators do not get enough credit for what they do. These teachers are not glorified babysitters. Babysitters aren’t with your children everyday. The learning group needs to take a step in the right direction and give these educators what they deserve. They deserve a raise and a bigger school. The more you invest in your work family the more the company can soar . And all you want is for these children to be able to fly. Thank you so much to all the amazing staff at La petite - Arnold! Thank you for loving my child as if she’s your own. Thank you for making it so much easier to take her school and not having to worry about her at school! I appreciate you all so much!!

All 3 of my children go to this school in arnold for years since they were 3 months old. We have a 9 year old a 2 year old and a 1 year old so we have different classrooms that we get to experience. We absolutely love everyone that works there. I feel comfortable and safe with my children there and we never have had a problem. My kids get up and the morning and cant wait to go to school and they are as happy as can be when I pick them up. I also love all of the cute projects we get weekly for our kids. I truly believe they love and care for my children just as I would. They are very prompt to respond as well and fix anything that needs fixing. We would never go anywhere else. We love you la petite in arnold and thank you for taking such great care of our kids!

My infant daughter has been going to La Petite Academy for almost a month now and we cannot say enough wonderful things about them. In the time of COVID-19 there is quite a bit of anxiety revolving around sending your child to any sort of center. However, the individuals at LPA are handling things gracefully and doing their absolute best to make their families feel safe. Miss Emily (the director), Miss Karley (the assistant director), and Miss Jessa are all amazing individuals and always receptive to questions we may have. I feel very comfortable sending my daughter and I can tell she loves it there as well.

Before the new camera launch, I felt fairly comfortable with my child going to La PetiteAcademy. Everyone seems very kind and receptive to hearing concerns. However, after the camera launch I feel even better. Currently parents are not allowed inside the building because of covid precautions, and being able to view the cameras allows a glimpse into your children’s day. I love logging on and seeing my child playing, laughing, and being loved on by her teachers. The director has put a lot of work into the school and it shows.

Would not recommend this for anyone’s child . Safety is not their main concern . They are in survival mode and are understaffed and do not interact with the kids AT ALL . Communication with an injury was only found out because I happen to be watching the camera . You can only imagine what’s happening when you’re not watching ! RUN AWAY !

As a former employee of La Petite Academy of 3 years I have learned the up and downs.. That I know every work environment has but unfortunately at the Arnold location the bad outweighs the good, and that caused me to find a better work environment. They truly do not care about their employees mental health which in childcare is super important as the teachers mood affects the children. They are really all about the money they bring in.. The current team lead is beyond rude to all employees and cares more about the latest gossip than the children. She hardly is ever smiling while in a classroom. She fakes it until she makes it when talking to a parent. Now do I think your child’s safety is a concern. No. But your child’s behaviors and learning skills will not improve at this daycare (again DAYCARE not a preschool) if they continue to run a business the way they do. Like I said they care more about gossip and money than anything else. They continue to keep kids who spit, hit, throw chairs, flip tables, curse out the teachers, hit other kids, run out of the building, etc. That only affects other children in negative ways. After months of trying to improve, but nothing helps because management does not care to help the child/teacher by communicating to parents or even during the aggressive behaviors. They basically tell you to deal with it or get angry when you ask for help (when that is literally apart of their job) causing your only focus to be on that troubled child instead of the other kids in your room. Not to mention the school is beyond dirty (health risk) even the bathrooms because most of the teachers refuse to clean them because “this isn’t apart of my job description” when in reality it is.. The toilets do not have a seal causing leaks that have been happening for the past 3 years of my employment. The bathroom floors are stained yellow from pee (even the ones that are cleaned every day) and the bathroom floors are peeling and baseboards are half way on the wall. The director has tried and tried to get things to improve her school but Learning Care Group as a whole is not the best company and again if it saves them money they rather not do it. I also wanted to add the good reviews on here are made simply because the director has offered the parents to be put in a drawling for a free week of tuition not because the parents feel this way.Taking covid precautions is a serious matter as the director is quick to put a child in quarantine if enrolled at our location but when a staff members child was exposed at their daycare and put into quarantine she allowed that child to come to our school with no hesitation. (So she could keep the mother on the schedule) We also have questions that are required at the door before the child enters, and unfortunately they are not being asked causing two children to have entered the building while waiting on tests results.. so if covid is a concern of yours I wouldn’t bring your kids here either.

I had wished the tour guide was a director that could answer questions further rather than support staff. This building looks VERY used and used hard. The floor had just been mopped and yet there was food in the corners and crevices. The baseboards looked dirty. They could have actually been clean; But, this location is majorly due for an overhaul and paint for goodness sakes (Tape marks on the walls). New childrens tables- something updated. It grossed me out plain and simple; the location looked very used. It was like an older school where you could tell the new wax on the floors didnt quite reach the corners. Or the new wax was put on overtop dirt I guess is the best way I can describe the floors. Just not good. There was no question between my wife and I following the tour that this facility was very underwhelming.

Three years ago we left a bad in home sitter situation reluctant to allow anyone to watch our kids. We toured La Petite and we were instantly met with concern for our well being and their promise to make us feel safe leaving our kids in their hands. Three years later and they have exceeded their promise! They love my kids as if they are their own. They are incredibly funny and caring ladies and they would do anything for us if they could! We have crazy schedules and even with the last minute schedule changes we throw at them, they never once have given us any reason to not feel welcomed or loved! I have had a child in all age level classrooms, (I have 4 in their care), and I can honestly say, in three years we have had nothing but amazing experiences with them! They got my daughter ready for kindergarten, they helped turn my shy son into a social butterfly and they basically potty trained my stubborn 3 year old even when we had trouble helping to train him at home. They kept him going and trained him to help make my life with our fourth newborn at home even a little easier. I have the clumsiest children on the face of this Earth and the director has even gone out of her way to message me after one of my kids have gotten hurt, on her own time, to see if they are doing better! I trust these ladies beyond words! I truly feel like they are my family and I cannot thank them enough for giving me such an amazing gift, the gift of knowing my kids are loved and well cared for when I cannot do it myself! It’s great knowing they have cameras and an app to keep me posted and send me pictures but the best feature they have is that I trust them enough that I do not need that stuff! Thank you La Petite Family!!

As a long term foster parent, I’ve been to my fair share of facilities. La Petite has made my current children’s transition so easy, as well as mine. I have spent a lot of time inside the building and with the staff. (Mostly hiding and checking on the children because it was all new to them, and we have worked very hard to start them in group care)The staff is very friendly, understanding, and flexible. They really take the time to get to know your children as an individual. Director seems to never leave, and is very involved in every aspect. I appreciate them all, and can’t imagine going anywhere else!

We love this school and its teachers! We drive our daughter 3 days a week from Clayton MO which is about 45 minutes away and I would not put her anywhere else! They have been so flexible with our schedules and ALWAYS accomodate us. Could not be more pleased. The school is clean and the management and staff are super friendly and inviting. A nervous first time Mom dropping her only baby off and they made me feel so comfortable-- picture and message updates all day long. We will continue to use la petite as a fill in even when pre-school officially starts!

Seems that people are so quick to create reviews when we are unhappy, or something is wrong, and forget when we are guinely happy. La Petite has been part of my tribe since my child was an infant. There’s still a handful of familiar faces that have been in that building since our first day years ago, which is so refreshing. I have became friends with some of the staff personally as well, which just helps me feel even more comfortable. Please take these reviews as just 1 out of 100’s of opinions, and experiences.

Great Place! The staff here is amazing! They are very friendly and fun. We’ve been withla petite for over a year now. When we first moved to Arnold I had my kiddos enrolled at another daycare near by for a month or so and never was really happy with it. Now having the experiences that we had there and comparing it to La petite it is really comforting to be able to drop your children off and not have a second thought about it. Not to mention I have a child with special needs and every one there is very caring and accommodating. I couldn’t ask for a better place or group of people to rely on with my kiddos.

La-Petite Academy is a truly an amazing place. Im a brand new mother of a almost two year old and new to motherhood. La-petite is super helpful & caring. They welcomed us with open arms. They take care of my child and they are good to him. He has learned so SO much in a almost a years time. Im very happy we chose them as our daycare for our son. I would defiantly recommend them to anyone looking for a careful, adventurous, hands-on learning environment for their children. The staff is wonderful, caring, honest and most important careful. Some of the staff have children of their own attending there and they treat all the children like their own! We wouldnt want him anywhere else.

I’m not usually one to voice how I feel on public platforms however I find now to be a proper time to share my opinion on La Patite Academy. After a change in leadership, the effects of covid 19, and a staff overhaul things are very different at LPA since my child first enrolled two years ago. From newborn to terrible twos my son has certainly pushed the limits of most teachers. I have seen times when the school was full of teachers with giant hearts and plenty of wisdom to share with the kids. I have also seen times when I felt like the students had more maturity than the teachers themselves. Under previous leadership I felt rules for staff and students were far to lenient and quite a few teachers took advantage thus leaving students falling behind. Once a new director stepped in I noticed some changes almost immediately. Shortly following the school was forced to close due to the threat of covid 19. I have found the effort from the staff to ensure my child’s safety since reopening more than satisfactory. The new drop off system implemented to avoid the spread prevents parents from entering the building. Although not always the most convenient it does put the safety of the children first and that is and should be number one priority. The last recent event is a staff overhaul to refocus on curriculum and academic growth of the young minds in the building. My son has always been ahead of his age and I can say with assurance that LPA has quite a lot to do with that. I’m pleased to see the school continuing to push the children to learn once again. My son has had some truly remarkable teachers and they have left great impressions as he has moved up from class to class. With all the changes I believe La Patite Academy has set themselves up to become better. The most important thing with me is that I don’t spend all day at work worried about my son. I have confidence that my son is in great hands and because of that, I thank LPA.

I waited three months for an opening for my child. We filled out all of the paperwork and had everything set . The day that we were supposed to enroll I was told that the director and asst director both quit and that they never received the paperwork that I had filled out months prior to the day I was told to start. Needless to say I had to miss several days of work to find childcare again. I even called corporate and asked if there was an opening at another center until this one had new staff and another opening but they refused to help with anything.

I was on a tour the other day looking around for a new daycare for my son. The people there were friendly enough but I felt rushed through the process. I was there for 15 minutes compared to the hour I spent at the place I chose and there were no colors on the walls. It felt very bare and not like a place where children normally are. What I felt to be a huge red flag though was when I came back because I forgot to grab an application while I was there, and you can see the front office from the door outside there were young babies about 2 maybe even younger crawling around on the chair and the desk with no adults in the room to even watch them. I decided on a different place for my son but I wanted to leave this review just in case. I wouldnt want someones baby falling and hurting themselves because they werent supervised. I honestly believe they need more staff.

We loved it so much when we had our son in Feb. 2017 and started thinking daycare I didn’t even think twice. When you walk into a daycare facility 3 Years later and see multiple familiar faces, you know they are there because they truly love their job. My son, who is almost 8, and our youngest who is almost 1 got to enjoy the same first teacher at La Petite. Miss Diana just celebrated her 17th year there. I am not sure what the point of writing a view for this company is, any truthful negative review gets flagged and deleted. You will also notice majority of these reviews came from 6-8 months ago, at those times the Arnold La Petite was doing a drawing for a basket and the entry was a review on Google and Facebook. Of course no parent that has their child in there is going to post a negative and truthful review linked to their name. We LOVED La Petite when our daughter, who started at two, started there. We thought it was amazing. The interaction on the Brightwheel app seemed as if her teachers really cared, the response from the Director with issues that we had seemed as if she really cared, but then after the first month or two all that started to dwindle away. We stopped getting pictures, our daughter kept having accidents because Hannah (one of the staff members) was not asking her if she had to go to the bathroom or taking her before nap. I had to bring it to the directors attention and threaten to pull our daughter out. The response I received was that Hannah is on a probation already and we will discuss it with her. I also witnessed her putting pull ups on children that were potty training at home (we had friends in this class) because she was purely too lazy to do her job. We got our daughter moved out of that class and into another class and didnt have any issues at all. However, thats not where it ends. I communicate with several workers still at this daycare and over the last few months it was constantly being hot lined (state reports from teachers in this building calling against other teachers). Hannah, the same teacher we had issues with, was hot lined due to taking a child in the kitchen and spanking him where there were not cameras and then she was also seen by another teacher slamming another kid into a shelf because he was not having his best behavior. When another teacher said that was too rough, she told that teacher dont tell me how to do my job. This was the day we pulled our daughter out. We brought it to the Directors attention and she said that she didnt want Hannah to get unemployment so she wasnt firing her, even though she had been telling staff for months that she was going to be out the door. You may ask well if its true how does she still have a job? It is because that daycare has been hot lined so many times that they know when state is coming, they know what to say and how to cover things up. Normally I would not be one to comment personal information, but these children are still in that class and still at risk. I have spoken to the Director and no changes have been made. Corporate has done nothing to the fact that a friend of mines child (in the infant room) was hot lined by a teacher because they said they saw another teacher THROW her child. The teacher was part of upper staff. Upper staff of the office lost the paper and deleted all logins to make it look as if the child wasnt there. The parent had to prove their child was there that day. Yes, they have cameras but in the fine print of the contract it says they can only be reviewed with a COURT ORDER. Meaning, state cant pull the cameras unless police are involved. Do NOT take your child there unless they are old enough and educated enough to tell you when things happen to them.
