“The Goddard School has been such a wonderful part of our family’s life! Our boys love going to school...to learn, talk, play, you name it. They come home already excited to go back the following day and talk about things they learn on the daily. My 3.5 year old son has really thrived in terms of his speech development (also, last night, he was telling my husband that the moon was a “crescent moon, Dad!” when they were getting ready to head in from outside)...he said “I learned that in school!” My almost 5 year old son has really thrived in terms of focusing on tasks and learning how to interact with others while being safe (he is a ball of energy!). We love our Goddard School and are so grateful to be a part of the Goddard family!”

“We know that our son is in a loving and FUN environment, while being encouraged to meet educational and developmental milestones. We also appreciate that the teachers are highly qualified, and communicate with us regularly about our sons learning and interactions at school. They are also always proactive in raising any concerns with us which we really appreciate.”

We have trusted Goddard School of Arnold with our son for two years and could not be more thrilled with his growth in both an academic and emotional respect. We are confident that our son will be set up for the best success when he enters kindergarten next year. From an academic standpoint, as a four year old, he is reading, can legibly write words and numbers, and even understands math skills (that I didnt learn until at least kindergarten or 1st grade!). From an emotional standpoint, he understands the value of inclusivity, being kind, and being patient (again, skills I didnt learn until much later!).We know that he is encouraged, loved, and taught things that we could never teach him on our own. We recognize that the team at Goddard School of Arnold are an extension of us as parents - we all work as a team to rear him into the best version of himself possible. I always feel comfortable to have conversations with the teachers about any new behaviors and how, as a team, we all help correct or encourage him. The teachers and staff welcome involvement. We love the teachers and staff at Goddard and couldnt be happier.

We love the Goddard School! There are so many great things to say, but we especially appreciate the kind teachers, easy communication and great office staff! My daughter has absolutely thrived since being at Goddard. It is difficult to find a daycare that provides such an incredible preschool curriculum. This school covers all the bases.

We love our Goddard School (Arnold, MD). They work with us to help educate and nurture our child and they keep us updated on recommendations to improve his education and behavior. We are confident in their care - they provide a daily curriculum (daily report) which they follow closely - this improves our confidence in them as well as our sons experience. We frequently discuss what hes learned at school with him based on his daily report and this allows us to continue his education at home. The staff is loving and knowledgeable. Thank you for being a part of our family!

I cant say enough wonderful things about Goddard. The teachers and staff are amazing and have become so close to my daughters. They genuinely treat you like family and go above and beyond to accommodate your childs needs. Healthy snacks, outdoor time, pretend play, circle time, and of course the daily reports on the app with pictures! The school has done such an amazing job handling the pandemic this year and we couldnt be more thankful! We feel our kids are safe and in such good hands at Goddard!

LOVE the daily reports, the healthy snacks, outside time, and the daily activities. The program is great. My two year old was home with me for the first two years and we decided to put her in full time and she loves it! They keep her stimulated and having fun all day. Within two weeks of going, she was counting to 10 in Spanish! We now have my 7 month old on the waitlist!

We love the Arnold Goddard School! Fun and creative learning environment with wonderful, patient teachers who clearly care for the kids. Front office staff are also super and the school provides the best communication we have experienced of any preschool we have attended, including emails of daily activities with photos of our little one busily engaged in various activities. School is clean, colorful and well maintained with nice, secure outdoor place spaces too. Very happy we found this school!

My son has gone here since he was 2 years old and the development that has happened since is incredible. Goddard School has great teachers who seem to genuinely be interested in how your child is progressing. Every day we get a detailed report of what our child did in school that day as well as photos and any notes that are pertinent. They work with you through potty training and the socialization our son is getting will no doubt prepare him for school.

My family has been with The Goddard School for 6 years now and both of my children have attended Goddard and I believe the school was extremely beneficial to both of them. My daughter has developed the assential skills required and she is now excelling in Kindergarten. My son has just completed his first full year at the School and my expectations will be the same for him.Great staff & management team. I highly recommend this location.

My son had a great experience the 3 years he was at Goddard. He looked forward to going to school every day. The teachers were fantastic and he is much farther along in math and reading than his older sister was at this point. Miss Natalie did a great job getting him ready for Kindergarten.

Great balance between fun and education. Pick up time is always hectic, so I love the daily email updates on classroom activities so we can talk about what my son is doing at school once we get home. He gets excited to tell me about what hes done because I can specifically mention the task he did at school. Otherwise, at age 2 the parents cant really interact with the child about his/her day.

I called to see if employees there were drug tested for the safety of the children and they said NO! Nor were they interested in taking drug test! This is a major key in protecting your children and keeping them safe. Why would a facility taking care of YOUR children not want to drug test their employees ??? MAJOR QUESTION WHEN FINDING THE RIGHT DAYCARE FOR YOUR CHILD! Very Sketchy!!!

The teachers and the curriculum are wonderful! Sadly, that is eclipsed by the extremely shady school administration. Anyone who would cause emotional harm and distress to a small child in retaliation for a parents constructive (seemingly anonymous) feedback about areas for improvement is just a monster. Im still in shock. Im not sure how these people sleep at night! 🙁

I am VERY picky. I want the best for my two boys and I dont apologize for it. I toured many schools and left most feeling defeated. I couldnt understand what most of these places were charging for and WHY. I toured the Goddard School last because it had the highest price point and I wanted to give other places a fair opportunity, as well as gain an unbiased opinion on each of them. When I walked into Goddard, I could see the difference from the main entrance. Parents crowded the main entrance as they waited in turn to use the high-tech security feature (hand-print ID, folks) and no one shoved hurriedly by or snuck past. Parents follow the rules. Once inside the classrooms, I could see the difference right away. My previous tours left me with images of old drab furniture, dirty rugs, and pass-me-down toys. Goddard was incredibly bright and colorful and kids were seated at tables playing with different goop, putty, or paint. I was welcomed with a group hello Hi, Friend! I thought, Yes, this is where I want my kids to go. My kids have always been at home with me, but I wanted them to experience a more formal learning environment and socialization. They get that in SPADES. I see images of my son (Tadpoles App) drawing, painting, playing, SMILING! On to the teachers--let me remind parents that being in this job with so many kids is a HARD job. Anyone who can (or pretend to) tolerate that many number of drooling, pooping, sneezy, whiny kids is a SAINT. So this branch of Goddard has many teachers who fall into this category. They also have a few teachers who fall into the category of Unicorns. These teachers are so amazing I swear they cant be real. My oldest son is with Ms. Lauren and Ms. Kelsey (unicorns) and he has blossomed under their care. I can tell that they genuinely care for my boy. I leave him in their care knowing he will come back to me a brighter, nurtured, social boy. My youngest son is having trouble adjusting, but I know this is par for course. I know that when this stage passes, he will blossom, too.

We are extremely happy with The Goddard School. Both of my boys have been in daycare since they were 1 and weve had both great and not-so-great experiences. I was a little concerned when we moved from California to Annapolis because I had difficulty finding, what I considered, quality day care and pre-k options for our kids. We started with a different school, closer to home, and quickly determined that it was not the environment we were looking for. I feel so fortunate to have found Goddard in Arnold. The school is clean and orderly. The kids love their teachers and I can tell the teachers adore and respect my kids (one of the most important aspects, in my opinion). The other aspect of Goddard that I love is the breadth of subjects they cover in the classrooms and the integration of technology into their day. All of the pre-school and pre-k classrooms have computers and one room has a smart board. As a trained teacher who now works with technology, that just makes my heart happy. The last thing I will say is that their summer program is as good as their regular program. They had weekly guest visitors ranging from magicians to storytellers to animals and the kids enjoyed a lot of outdoor play all summer.I highly recommend The Goddard School in Arnold, MD.

“I could not be happier with the education that my daughter receives at The Goddard School in Arnold. I brag about her accomplishments to my family, friends and especially to those with children who are looking for pre-school options. I plan to continue using the Goddard School when my daughter progresses to Pre-K, instead of pursuing the public school option. The teachers plan valuable and relevant lessons for their students every day. Recently a new franchise of Goddard opened closer to my home. I have been asked a few times why I do not switch, since this new building would be more convenient to my work commute. My response is always the same. Not all Goddards are created equal. Its not just the name on the building that makes my daughters school unique, it is the teachers and staff that make the experience so positive and impactful.”
