The Dollar Store is a very handy local resource for all the knickknacks of life. It has a varying stock which merits a visit every week or two to save on standard needs. Cleaning supplies, frozen foods, reading glasses, cosmetics, and seasonal decorations are all available at phenomenal prices. When I need something quickly I check in at the Dollar Store before standard retail outlets. It has been a very useful resource for my everyday needs.

My 4 year old needed to use the bathroom and they wouldn’t let her use the bathroom. We had to walk all the way over to smart and final for her to be able to use the bathroom. I can understand them saying that to an adult, but a child who when they say they have to go usually means they need to go now, it was rude of them to make us walk all the way over to another store.

Found what I needed and then some. For a dollar an item how can you go wrong? Staff was friendly and the store was well stocked . I definitely will be a returning customer.

As always we left with more than we planned for, but the deals and selections were too good to pass up.

Love our dollar tree. They have so much of everything. Its addicting shopping there so I have to only take in the amount of cash that I limit myself to spending which is usually $10 and I come out with amazing things. From cards to wrapping paper, glassware, holiday decorations, kitchen gadgets, party supplies, candy, food, ice cream, the list is endless. Such a fun place shop to shop and explore all they have to offer.

They didnt have everything I needed in stock however, they had plenty of other items in stock, reminding me of things I forgot to put on my list. So all in all it was okay. The store was relatively clean and somewhat organized. Its time to restock the shelves.

I was very uncomfortable in the store. The lines were very long and the people in the lines were not distancing themselves and the person behind me in line only had a face shield and no mask. I was trying to keep my distance but with the store being so cramped and so many people in line it was difficult. The cashier didnt seem in a hurry to move the line along in order to clear out all the people clumped together. She was chatting with a customer about how difficult it is to break snow globes. I know she was trying to be friendly but in times like this the greater need seemed to be to clear out the crowd. I go there to buy greeting cards for my mom so hopefully she wont need any for awhile and next time Ill go first thing in the morning.

Never again!! Store worker named chris was absolutely horrible and apparently had issues with his mask. At one point he just took it off entirely answered his phone and got into a debate with someone whole ringing up customers, he obviously doesnt care about having a job and this site is not covid friendly at all! Stay away!

While shopping at the dollar tree was good, it was after I was in my vehicle in front of the store near closing time. One of the employees was collecting carts, she proceeded to pick trash out of the cart and throw it all on the sidewalk in front of the arroyo grande store. I called this store to make a complaint re this. It didnt seem to make a difference, since I waited another 40 min andNo one came out to clean it up. What a shameThis pigtailed young lady had no integrity to justThrow the trash away in a trash can. It takes a village to keep our city clean and do the right thing. Please consider this, in this day of cellPhone recordings...it could be really bad for anyCompany to see an on line video of any badBehavior or practices done by their employees.Thank you, Chris Deming

Am on a craft app that suggests items from this place. Always find what I need. The check out lines can be long but customer service is helpful & courteous. Always find fun holiday decorations cheap enough to throw away if they get destroyed @ kids parties.

Very aggressive solicitation by older male clerk to contribute to a charity/worthy cause. I am a senior and live on a fixed income. Just had a very expensive repair bill on my vehicle and need to watch my pennies. Did not appreciate his comment in front of the other shoppers to let my conscience be my guide when I declined to contribute. I am like most shoppers at Dollar Tree....I live day to day.

This is a great sized store has most everything you might need

Waited in line with heavy bags of ice and when i got to being the next person in line they closed the register and told me to move to another. As i was doing this about 5 more customers went in front of me but they only seemed to care about the girl in front of me and let her in front of all of us. The manager was yelling in front of a bunch of customers and it made me mad and uncomfortable so i left my stuff right there and walked out. I will never go in here again!

If youre very familiar with the products you use and know the cost per unit you can really stretch your budget here. I stay away from food products but many dont. But pay attention. Everything isnt cheaper at Dollar Tree.

Not too busy considering the last Sunday before Christmas. Still plenty of stocking stuffers, toys and gift wrap. There were three cashiers going so the wait was short to check out.

As always this is a very busy store. They are a bit slow to call for another checker, even when the check out line is very long. But the people that work there are very friendly, and quickly scan all your items. The one item I specifically went to pick up...bare shelves, so browsing i go. Big mistake..$28.00 later. Lol

Love to shop dollar Tree however Tammie was undoubtedly the rudest cashier I have ever encountered! There were 15 people in line, I was like 4th, close to the register, I asked her politely if she could call another cashier, she informed me loudly that the people in front should not worry about those in the back.. when I did get to the register she did ask for another cashier who came immediately.. she then told me I was lucky she had help that day as normally she was by herself. There were people lined up down two aisles. I am sure if you look at your cameras you will see this..I didnt feel very lucky to have had this cashier.

It was a good time of the day to go shop for what I needed, so I was in and out in a very good time and the people who were working were very courteous.

Very friendly cashier at the register!

Walked in and 1 cashier had no mask. I thought to myself maybe he has a medical condition 🤔. I was going to check out with the other cashier next to his register,but the one with no mask stated talking to the 1 with the mask spreading his nasty germs on the people and telling the other cashier he vapes and he had smoked 5 times today. If he can smoke that much I doubt he has a medical condition.

Without a doubt, a favorite store for everyone. Always something to find even when youre not looking for something. And hands down, the A-1 store for snacks and cold drinks to satisfy your munchies. Love this place!

This Dollar Tree is a great location! I am a dollar store aficionado and this is a big nice one with tons of stuff. It does not have a produce section but everything else short of that. It is in a nice neighborhood too so you will not feel like you entered another country when you are there like the Santa Maria location. I actually like those too, but definitely they are from another place where English is not spoken....8)

Cant beat the price on cleaning supplies. Name brand and full size, u can save $1000 easy shopping at Dollar Tree. The lines can get long at rush hour but if you go near closing the wait is shorter.

Go shopping here first with a list of the things that you need. See how much of it you can buy there for just a dollar each item. Compared to a regular stores. For the house, kitchen, bathroom, bedroom,garage ,outdoors . For whatever you need at just a dollar each. Got kids, dogs cats they have you covered. Need party good s supplies and decorations got it. Cards ,invitation s for all occasions. Like to read , they have hardbacks ,play minds games, art projects got it. For all ages, I think by now know I,m crazy about the place and the money I save shopping there.

Good prices for stuff like bottles of water, or the toasters aka pop tarts. However when needing to use their restroom. Both doors were locked without anyone in there. Then I was told they lost the key. Pure laziness. And btw if its coming up on valentines day DO NOT ALREADY HAVE ST. PATRICKS DAY STUFF OUT WITH THE VALENTINES DAY ITEMS.

Fairly typical Dollar Tree. They do have great deals on this that one might need for around the house. They have pebbles or colored flat marbles that are idea for yours or their cheap vases. Party items & small toys for tots are cheap. They seem to be able to survive by notso cost effect items like small dollar sizes of soap for the kitchen.At let say, Costco, it is far cheaper to buy in bulk. Whatever you do, do not buy cheap vitamins here or elsewhere....stick with the name brand or even cheap Walmart one a days.

The store was veerrrry busy and there were only two cashiers. The aisles were not as clean as I have seen in the past, but maybe they are just short staffed today? The cashiers were pleasant despite having long lines and people with questions stopping them from doing their work. Hoping the long lines are a rare thing and I will keep coming back.

Love having one nearby for quick and easy solutions. I buy the dehumidifier cups for $1 ea. A great thing to have loving close to the beach.

The employees really do try their best -- one lady even wrapped up my new $1 glasses to keep them safe, which earned them back one star -- but clearly the management at this location is shoddy. At best. It cant be blamed on the haggard employees. The aisles are usually lined with unstocked merchandise even during peak hours (clearly the decision of a manager, not an employee). And who knows where those carts are supposed to live? Im not a neat freak by any means, but some basic organization -- or the simple ability to FIND a cart or handbasket when I enter the store -- would be nice. Maybe an indoor cart corral is in order?Otherwise, love this chain. I go here and nowhere else for housewares and to supply my scented candle habit. (Their Rose Collection candles kick Yankee Candle Co.s expensive butt right up and down the street.)

This Dollar Tree in Arroyo Grande is quite large, and has many useful items for the house and lots of munchies.

I shop there cause there prices are reasonable and you see happy faces there

Of course everything is a dollar, but its usually a pickle getting through the checkout line. In our Grover location its not only fast, but entertaining as the lady running the other check stand sung little thank yous for customers that gave troop donations and whisked her 8 cart line right through.

These guys are great n helpfull, morning is the best times to shop

This store has so much potential but management doesnt seem to care. It is probably the dirtiest Dollar tree Ive ever been to. Always understaffed and unorganized.

Many amazing bargains, wide selection of housewares, party goods, stationery, cleaning supplies, food and snacks, and much more. A few items seem a bit shoddy but most things are a real value and worth more than a dollar.
