Very informative instructor. The interesting subject matter and excellent presentation make the time fly. I havent shot a gun since high school but the course made it easy. I would highly recommend this class.

I took the 8 Hour Handgun Safety/Concealed Carry Course and I really enjoyed my experience. John was extremely thorough and knowledgable. He used real life examples to relate with his teachings which I found very helpful. I had no firearm experience and was nervous about taking this course, especially going to the shooting range, but John made me feel at ease and helped me put what I learned in class into action. After taking this class, I now feel confident about handling a firearm correctly and safely. I would highly recommend this course!

Amazingly comfortable, small class setting. Very knowledgeable and great about answering questions. Overview of gun laws is a big thing I found most important that many other instructors dont go over. The instructor, John, is very polite and helpful. I had a great day at my class and left feeling very confident in my ability to know, and manage a firearm.

John was great! It was my first safety class and I was a little nervous going in, John made me feel real comfortable right off the bat and I learned a lot from him. I would definitely recommend him 100%

What a great class! It was small, so it felt more like a group discussion, rather than a disconnected teacher vs. students setting. John explained rules, laws and views on gun safety and self-defense very well. If youre confused about what is right, what is safe, or need some help shooting better, email John and take the class. Its worth it.

Whether youre brand new to shooting or just looking for a basic certification, Mr. John Duran is an exceptional instructor with lots of knowledge under his belt. The class was very fun and informative. John makes sure that everyone in the class feels comfortable. This was an awesome experience and helped me jumpstart my way into purchasing a firearm.

John had a very comfortable office and laid back style. This allowed everyone to relax and feel at home and concentrate on the task at hand. The training was very good, and I highly recommend this course with Tactical Iron. I will go back for more advanced training. Two thumbs up!

Very disappointed. I called two days before a scheduled class to explain I was ill, John still said he would keep my deposit. I asked if we could apply the deposit to a future class. He refused.I am a salesman. I always try to find a way to work with my customers. He didnt even try. Im even out the money I spent on non-returnable bullets. Thanks for nothing.

As a veteran, I had some basic knowledge of firearms and safety, John took it to the next level with a great class and live fire instruction for my CCW certification class, I would highly recommend John for any firearm training, 5 stars without a doubt.

I think the rating system is completely lame. Thank God theres more people that are not self entitled that can shoot, than self entitled weezels that wouldnt trust with a rubber band gun.
