We are new here this year, moved from VA BEACH in April. We were in Candler temporarily until we moved to Asheville in late May. My 4 attended Candler schools, elementary and Enka intermediate. While the teachers AND administration were AMAZING at both schools, the other children werent behaved as expected. As young as K was no stranger to the f bomb or chewing out teachers and bus drivers! Unhappy parent here! CHARLES C. BELL has been the BEST of both worlds! Amazing teachers and staff, so kind, eager to teach, energized, all I have met I have felt not just secure but an additional happy because theyre more than I expected! My girls are learning and memorizing new things and enjoying the growth! Only week 2, and in impressed by these sweet and obvious on purpose teachers and staff which is comforting! (A happy instructor who loves their line of work, makes for a GREAT FUN teacher!) No peer issues so far either! You expect the 1 or 2 per class, but when the majority of students are disrespectful, feel and act entitled and try to be more mature than their age, its the community, so run fast! C C BELL students have been sweet, shy, outgoing, and normal kids! The family is more pleased with this school than ANY OTHER school visited or enrolled in. Keep it up CCBELL staff! You are a breath of fresh air!!

Best little neighborhood everyone knows everyone elementary school in the area with dedicated teachers who promote rigorous learning.
