Her massage room is really inviting and had beautiful painting on the walls which help create a more serene environment 🙂 Not only that but she offers Parent-Infant massage classes which really helps create that bond. In fact, my fiance and I will be attending with our baby boy next week! I walked in to my massage appointment with lower back pain. Joanne used an integrated approach that included cupping. A new technique for me, and one that truly worked. I woke up the next morning pain free! I am grateful for Joannes knowledge and her compassionate approach.

Our family has benefited greatly from JoAnnes awesome classes! The Infant Massage class REALLY helped our newborn with his colicky digestion more than anything else, and taught me as a new mother what kind of touch strokes would best help him to relax and feel good. He loves being massaged and cooed over still, at 17 months! We were able to bond more deeply, and establish cues for relaxation, soothing, and getting him to let me work on him- be it changing diapers, putting on clothes, or just calming a tantrum moment. I loved learning to make a sweet daily ritual of song, loving touch, and wonderful discovering of my beautiful new baby. My husband and I also enjoyed and learned a lot from the Couples Massage class series, and the Prenatal Massage series (I actually found physical comfort in my last trimester! Joanne is a very knowledgeable health care professional. Sheunderstands where you are hurting and helps to relieve the pain. She hasrecommended different ways to manage my lower back pain, that havesignificantly helped me.. I would not be able to continue to work most days relatively pain free if it were not for her. She suggested using the inversion technique, which I do at home and it has definitely helped relieve pain... on an ongoing as well as emergent basis... She works very hard, and has a passion for assisting families massage their infants.
