This is a good driving school if your instructor is Victor because he is the best. Victor is a very patient instructor and willing to help you when you make a mistake. Mimi is the other driving instructor (the Greek chubby lady with blonde hair) she is not patient at all and she gets very mean. When I was driving for practice Mimi got angry with me and had a nasty attitude with me when I made a mistake in driving. She is not supposed to give a bad attitude or be mean to driving students. How are the driving students supposed to have the courage to practice driving when the driving instructor Mimi is mean with a bad attitude? This is why I dont recommend this driving school to anyone. Unless your instructor is Victor.

Great experience. Everyone was kind and professional. My driving instructor had years of experience and was a great and patient teacher who built up necessary confidence before the road test. Definitely would recommend Zapiti!

This place is great! Very professional, knowledgeable and kind. They don’t only want you to pass your road test but they want you to be a safe and responsible driver. I’ve been to a different place and failed my test miserably. 2 years later a gave Zapiti a try and it was the best decision I’ve made. Victor is a great instructor, very patient and professional. Best Driving School in Astoria hands down (way cheaper than other spots like ferrari). My instructor Victor was very informative and a pleasure to have beside me while I was behind the wheel. Thalia (manager) was able to work around my schedule tremendously and I aced the road test after 4 lessons. Ive been to other driving schools, this spot is 10/10!

Excellent service

This school was a very positive experience, from the owner to the instructors. Very reasonably priced. Felix was the best instructor. He gave me a lot of confidence and I passed the road test on the first try.

The people are very friendly and competent. They take very good care of you, answer any question that might concern you and try to help you out where they can. The prices are fair. I passed my test first try thanks to their very helpful instructions and tips. :-)

First time going to this driving school.The driving instructor was very patient with me havent drove within in a year still did good but will be coming back. Highly recommend to everyone to go to this driving school. These people care and really wanted you to pass.
