Our daughter is in her fifth year of classes with Atlanta Ballet at this location. In addition to learning the technical skills of ballet, the students develop poise, confidence and an appropriate level of discipline which has been wonderful to see over the years. The teachers have been encouraging and always manage to put together a beautiful routine that we are always impressed by during the Spring Concert. The principal, Nicole Adams, is always very responsive and runs a great program. Highly recommend!

Our teenage daughter has been attending Atlanta Ballet since she was in Kindergarten - we were so excited to have them open this location! She has learned so much from the teachers. They provide corrections or affirmations immediately so that the dancers learn proper form and technique. Besides dancing itself, the curriculum includes learning vocabulary of ballet, presenting yourself on stage, and understanding nutrition is not starvation.

Our little girl is in her second year of ballet at this studio and very quickly found her love for dance with the help of her wonderful teacher. Taking classes via zoom last year was hard, but she still loved it because of the creativity, passion and joy shared by her teacher and by the other young children in the class. Shes now in person and looks forward to her class every week with so much anticipation and then spends the next several days telling me all about it and showing me her new moves. Ive also found that the administration, as well as the teachers, take a personal interest in each student and are invested in their growth and success. I look forward to continuing to watch my tiny dancer grow and challenge herself in a safe, nurturing and professional environment.

We have been very happy with every aspect of our experience at the Virginia- Highland Centre of the Atlanta Ballet. Our two daughters have been dancing there for about 4 years. The classical training they have received is excellent and the teachers and staff are wonderful. Our girls look forward to each class!

My daughter has danced with Atlanta Ballet for many years, and for nearly three years at this location. The staff & instructors are true professionals and offer an excellent balance of classical ballet instruction and fun. I appreciate the age-appropriate discipline and responsibility they require from their students, it’s excellent training for not just dance, but for life. Your dancers will be in good hands at this studio.

Our daughter has taken ballet here for nearly 5 years. We have seen her skills and self-confidence grow, and she has developed a love for the art. The teachers are encouraging, kind and communicate regularly with parents. All in all, weve had an excellent experience.

We are in our 3rd year at the Va-Hi studio and grateful to have this gem in the neighborhood. My daughter particularly enjoys the jazz and modern classes as a way to learn new things. The teachers are professional, caring and supportive.

My daughter has been taking ballet at this studio for nearly 4 years, and we have seen her technique and grace as a dancer grow tremendously. The teachers are attentive to instruction per each students level and actively focus on areas of development needed. She continues to be engaged and passionate for dance, and we attribute a lot to the AB-VaHi location environment, wonderful instructors, and dedicated Principal.

We are going on our fourth year at the Centre for dance Education - VaHi location - and have truly enjoyed our experience. The teachers and instruction are wonderful, the studio top notch and the end of year performances are always a delight.

My daughter has danced at the VaHi studio since it opened. She absolutely loves it and now takes ballet, jazz, and modern. The instructors are talented, kind, and make it fun for the kids.

Instructors at this location lack warmth and connection with developing dancers. When offering feedback, there is little effort to inspire. Instead of encouraging expression, dancers repeat joyless movements with little enthusiasm. Expectations are rigid. The studio culture feels stiff and toxic. While we were hoping for a healthy outlet (especially during the pandemic) for our daughter to thrive, instead she wilted as a dancer. If you are looking for a studio that focuses only on technique, then this is the place for you. However, if you are hoping for a joyful experience with instructors who take interest in the WHOLE child, keep searching.
