My kids have been going here for about 4 months for their piano lessons, I can only say it has been a great experience. The kids love it, the instructor ( Oliver ) is very professional and has a lot of patience with my kids. They love how he explain things. My kids are already playing piano by themselves.

Our 12 year old boy has had piano classes here for over 2 years. We pay just a little more for in-house lesson which is so much worth is considering the time spend preparing and driving to the school. Weve had 2 teachers throughout, and both were excellent although different at the same time. This worked out great for our student. We also have started our 8 year old in piano as well. We highly recommend Atlanta School of Musical Arts!

I took guitar lessons from Mostai for about 7 months to prepare for college jazz auditions. He was well-versed in all genres and was able to instruct me in whatever direction I wanted. I came to him having learned much of music theory online through Youtube videos. He was able to direct what I had already learned and show me how to apply it in the right way. In addition, he showed me new theory but always demonstrated it in the context of a song. During those 7 months, my chord vocabulary, knowledge of scales and complex harmony, and technique all drastically improved. I wouldn’t have gotten into the music colleges I did without his help.

Our 5-year-old boy has been taking piano lessons for a couple months now from ASMA and so far weve had a great experience. First, our instructor, Bridget, comes to our house for lessons, which is amazing in itself. Second, she really meets our son at his level and makes each and every lesson fun for him, so that he looks forward to the next one. As a guitar player, it seems the great majority of people Ive known who have attempted to take piano lessons as children (or even adults) end up quitting, usually because the traditional approach to piano is so dry, boring, and intimidating. The first order of business in any music instruction is to make it fun – play to the joy of making music, which is in most people, really. Our instructor does this – she makes piano fun and accessible for our son. I think the number one metric of success at this level is if your child is having fun and wants to continue.

My son has really enjoyed his piano lesson with Cameron Carey. My son started this school with no knowledge about the piano and now has progressed so much in a year. Cameron has given him insight on the ins and outs of the piano and is very detailed when teaching. This class has helped my son with being more independent having to come home and learn his lessons on his own. I would recommend anyone to Atlanta School of Musical Arts.

My daughter has been taking piano lessons from Paige since she was 3 1/2. It has been an excellent experience. Paige has innovative and dynamic teaching methods. Many of her methods have been developed specifically for my daughter catering to her progress. It has exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend her for all ages but especially for young children.

Edit: they fixed the charge. After our teacher didn’t show up for over a month, and me canceling our lessons, they are still charging $250 a week. Now, I have to contact my bank and get my money refunded. I definitely do not recommend this business, customer service is terrible.

I love Atlanta School for the Musical Arts. You cant beat the convenience of having a teacher come to your home, and our teacher is fantastic. She does piano, guitar, and voice lessons and has a wonderful connection with my kids. We love the recitals that the kids get to perform in and the pricing is reasonable. Highly recommend!

My 8 year old daughter has been taking private piano and voice lessons in our home through Atlanta School of Musical Arts for about 6 months and I have been completely happy with the service. Her instructor, Paige Hamilton, is a wonderful young woman. A talented professional singer and a good pianist in her own right, Paige is very professional, organized, and punctual, yet she is also very patient, encouraging, and does her best to make the lessons fun for my daughter. I also appreciate that Paige leaves written notes on the assigned practice material for each week, and I also receive lesson notes via email each week. I have also found Atlanta School of Musical Arts to be professional, responsive and easy to work with, from the initial phone/email contact, to scheduling a sample class, to the automated system for making monthly payments, to allowing me to customize the lessons to suit my daughters age and interests (her class is just 15 minutes of piano and 15 minutes of voice 1 time per week, which is perfect for her at this age). Overall, Atlanta School of Musical Arts and the instructor we were lucky to be assigned have been a very good fit for my family!

My son began taking guitar lessons with Atlanta School of Musical Arts when he was 5 years old. He is now 6 and I am amazed at his progress and ability. I am most pleased with how the instructor uses songs that he enjoys in order to keep him interested in learning. Additionally, the concert experience significantly increased his confidence. I would recommend the school to any parent who is interested in their child not only excelling, but also enjoying the learning process.

Mostai has been providing in-house guitar lessons for my son for about a year and we are very pleased. It is so nice to let him fight the traffic, saving me time and energy. He is always prompt and courteous. You can tell he plans ahead for the lesson and is quite talented so he can quickly modify it on the fly if needed. He also uses a variety of technology tools and the combination keeps my son interested and learning. He is well-organized in the scheduling and billing too.

We have 2 boys who have been taking guitar and drum lessons for the past 8 months and have been having a great time and learning a lot. They started at age 7 with no prior musical experience and each has a 45 minute lesson taught by the same instructor (so one instructor comes to our house and does the lessons back to back) and this has worked really well. We are really happy with everything and most importantly, our kids are learning music and having fun. I highly recommend this for anyone whose kids are interested in learning an instrument. The instructor is dependable and has established a great relationship with both boys and has been great.

I have been using the services of Atlanta School of Musical Arts for over a year now and have been extremely satisfied. My son really likes his piano teacher Oswald, and he has shown great improvement since under his tutelage. I personally have been very happy with the level of instruction given and the ease of working with this company. I have not had any issues with scheduling, payments and overall communication with Mostai or Oswald. They have both been great to work with and very accommodating. I would recommend the Atlanta School of Musical Arts to anyone thinking of taking music lessons.

Our daughter (6 yrs.) is learning the piano and enjoys every session. Now I have started playing the guitar as I like the setting at home and professional and personal way of learning. I can highly recommend Mostai and the Atlanta School of Musical Arts.

I am an adult student learning guitar for the first time and it has been such a positive experience with Mostai as my instructor! I had a little bit of music theory knowledge but knew nothing technical about guitar. I could barely form full chord shapes when I began! Through his innovative and dynamic teaching methods, I have progressed extremely quickly. He lets me select songs that I enjoy and adapts them for my playing abilities so I can still have fun playing the song. He has exposed me to various styles of music (pop, classic rock, blues, reggae) and builds upon previous lessons. I would highly recommend Mostais lessons for guitar players of any age!

I messed around on my own for a few months learning to read music, chords, basic notes on the six strings and play melodies for a few simple songs but not progressing much towards playing songs I liked. Found some music teachers online but ASMA was the only one who would come to my home in the suburbs. My teacher, Jennifer Bliss, was delightful. More importantly, she stressed learning songs using TABS. I not only learned five songs in just six lessons (songs that I love!) but also improved my basic skills in the process.A really great experience!

Mostais lessons are great! I am surprised at how much I learned in just a couple of classes. For me, some theory would have helped in the beginning, but wasnt necessary because I was able to ask questions as we went along. He is very good at explaining things and figuring out what I was doing wrong and how to change it so I was doing it right. I have recommended him to my friend who used to play guitar and is looking to start lessons again.

I am really enjoying learning from Mostai. Before meeting him I had been playing for a couple of years without understanding rhythm or musical theory. Therefore I could never pick up new songs and what I played sounded pretty bad.Mostai had the patience to work through my idiosyncrasies. He helped me unlearn most of my erroneous techniques and built in me a stronger foundation of rhythm and music theory. I never used to practice enough initially but he continued to motivate me to practice and now I have built up a desire to learn and improve on my own.

I am very happy that I have found Mostai for my guitar lessons!I am an absolute beginner and have no knowlegde about music and rhythm at all. For me, the lessons with Mostai are like discovering a new world. And it is always with fun! Because Mostai gave me from the first lesson on the possibilty to choose the songs, that I like. And he has a way to show and explain the things, that I really understand it and get better fast. For every problem, he knows an answer. And now after several months, I am also learning music theory and Mostai helps me to connect that new knowlegde with the songs, that I have already learned. It is absolutely fascinating and I can highly recommend Mostai and his teaching methods.

We recommend Moses Mostai Staimez and the Atlanta School of Musical Arts in the highest possible terms. Before we came to know Mostai, we had tried out a couple of different music teachers for our young daughter, but we were unable to find someone with all characteristics we were looking for: top-notch, seasoned technical skills as a musician and as a teacher; a teaching philosophy that makes learning fun and motivating for a young student; the delicate balance of making the lessons a joy for the student while not sacrificing rigor and effectiveness; and the magic of working well with young children. Mostai, who teaches our daughter guitar, combines all of these characteristics brilliantly. In addition, his sense of organization and efficient communication with us is superb. Our daughter looks forward to lessons with Mostai with great anticipation (how common is that?). We as parents take pleasure in working with him, enjoying the fact that our daughter is being exposed not only to music, but also to a human being we hold in high esteem.
