Both my daughter and son attended Buckhead Prep. It was the best decision Ive made in their young lives. The school is run by the most professional people in the education industry. I felt safe when I dropped my children off knowing Tammy and her staff were there every minute of the day helping every child. I was thrilled with the diversity of the student population. This was an important factor for me so that my children were in classrooms with other children from all walks of life. IMO, It will only benefit them in the future. I would highly recommend scheduling a visit to take a tour of either campus. Youll see why so many parents like myself made the decision to send their children to Buckhead Prep. The staff and teachers are the best.

Buckhead Prep has been a wonderful experience for our sons. The teachers are caring and inclusive. Tammy Wingate accepted us as a last minute enrollment several years ago, and weve never looked back. They provided a loving and nurturing environment for our oldest son when he needed it most. They built his confidence and were awesome guides. We were so thankful to find this school and are sad to be moving on to big school.

A great school! The faculty and staff are very helpful and provide a wonderful environment for children to learn. I would encourage anyone with young kids to give Buckhead Prep serious consideration.

After having our children in several pre-schools and doing a preschool summer camp program, I can unequivocally say that Buckhead Prep is just the best of the best! Weve found the teachers to be incredibly caring, professional and willing to work with us on all of our requests. They are so passionate about helping your child thrive and learn the most they can while having a good time. I love how they indivualize learning and teach your child- meeting him/her at their appropriate level. Both of our sons have grown not only in their learning skills but their behavior and ability to focus and follow directions at home! I also love the schools focus on safety and teaching the kids about safe decisions and ways of doing every day things.If youre looking for a school that offers a caring environment and a track record for academic excellence- this is it!

If I could give this school zero stars I would. The review below is right, this school is discriminatory. I worked there, so take it from someone from the inside. The owner Tammy Wingate only cares about how many rich children she enroll to get paid for herself. She hired me as an employee and told me I would work for the summer program and the up coming school year. I filled out all the paper. SHE DID NOT DO A BACKGROUND CHECK ON ME AT ALL! Then she stop putting me on the schedule and stopped returning my calls. Did not tell me I was fired just took me off the schedule and ignored all me text, voice messages and emails communication. By the way, I am not white... I worked around these children for a month without having any evidence I wasnt a criminal. These parent would be very upset to find out the owner is pulling stunts like this behind there back just because she have the trust of these families. That is not safe! How many times has this happened? Or it could still be happening currently. Because I have evidence I worked there I will report this to Georgia Bright From the Start. Childcare schools like this one get away with thing like this without the state knowing and put the children in danger. I would ask Tammy Wingate questions and she would blow me off. She only let in a certain amount of minority children. Not very many at all attend this school. If you meet with Tammy and youre a minority she will judge you. And the directors are just puppets for Tammy. Tammy really runs the show, and they just do what she tells them to do. The directors honestly do nothing other than the school tours, Tammy does ALL the paper work. Bottom line the owner is Racist.

We are going on our 4th year at Buckhead Prep and couldnt be happier. The material they teach the kids is more than what I see at other schools. BP and the staff are pleasant and I really cant imagine sending our kids elsewhere.

I toured this school as well as filled out paperwork but was told I would receive an email with more information for enrollment. Checked my email later on, nothing. I received a voicemail as I had called before the tour so I decided to call back and leave a voicemail reminding the director that I was waiting on this so I could move forward, nothing. Called and left another voicemail, nothing. Unfortunately this leads me to jump to the conclusion that theyre discriminatory.

This is an excellent pre-school. The teachers are first class. Can highly recommend this pre-school.

Both of my kids went to Buckhead Prep. I am a minority and we were renting a small apartment at the time but we always felt accepted at the school. I think one of the factors in choosing a preschool is proximity so most of the families are from within the neighborhood. We thought wed be the only one driving all the way from Marietta to Buckhead but there were other families who were just like us and did the long drive so that their children can attend this exceptional school. For us, it was an investment on our time and money. But it was well worth it! My older one who is in 4th Grade is in both the Grifted Program and the Advanced Class. My younger one (thanks to Buckhead Prep!) can pronounce any word she sees so her 1st Grade teacher is working on the sight words with her and she was able to read and understand all the words required up to 3rd Grade now. Buckhead Prep will teach children the skills they need that they can use throughout their academic years. The children were never crammed to do anything. It was always a fun and nurturing environment. It was not just about academics. They were also taught to respect one another. My children cherish that to this day. The teachers would always have time to listen and find better ways to fulfill your requests. Ms. Tammy Wingate, the Founder of Buckhead Prep, was especially accommodating. She always answered phone calls and e-mails in a timely manner. Im sure she had billions of phone calls/e-mails she needed to take care of but every time we would have a conversation she made me feel special and she was a true friend. The staff and teachers are multicultural, talented, and professional individuals including the police officers on campus. We felt safe bringing our children here. I highly recommend this wonderful school!
