My son has been attending AMIS for almost two years now. We have had such an amazing experience and would recommend the school to everyone.We started at the school in the middle of the COVID pandemic and everything has gone incrediblySmoothly with no issues.The teachers and staff are some of the best teachers we have experienced. We’ve attended two other “great” schools in the area but AMIS has by far the best teachers. My sons teacher is a true gift to our family. AMIS truly lives by the Montessori principles and values and it truly shows with the changes I have seen in my son.The campus is absolutely beautiful, safe and clean. The families that attend the school are so kind and it’s a great community to be a part of.

I would not recommend Atlanta Montessori International School to another parent. Atlanta Montessori International School has the following opportunities for improvements:1) COVID Protocols. I witnessed staff checking childrens temperatures with hand-helds that would display temperatures between 70 and 80 degrees. The units were clearly not working and the staff were just going through the motions.2) Our child was bit multiple times. Kids get bit and kids bit other kids. However, we would receive documentation when our child was biting someone else but they would never provide any information for us regarding the multiple bite marks on our child. Again, kids bite. The teachers are just not consistent and there is little process.3) This is a private equity backed business. The financial programs they employ around advanced deposits are truly disingenuous. We knew after 30 days this was not the best place for our child. The school agreed that they were not equipped to do their jobs due to COVID staffing issues. Nonetheless, they chose to keep the deposit. We are fortunate to have our jobs during this pandemic. I would hate for someone to lose over $1,000 because this school care more about financial gain than ethical devision making.We found a great spot just down the road. If. you are looking for a strong Pre-K program, we would recommend either :1) The Glenn School (Great people, great program) or 2) The Frazer Center.Again, we would strongly advise parents to be weary of the program at Atlanta Montessori International School - Druid Hills. We did not have a positive experience and removed our child as soon as possible.
