I took my real estate classes at Capitus Real Estate Learning Center with Karen Loftus and had an amazing experience. Karen was AMAZING! She went above and beyond to help me prep for the state and national exams and I PASSED! I am very appreciative of such an amazing and caring instructor. Excellent classroom experience with a lot of good information along with test-taking tips. The admin staff, Christy and Ava are very friendly and helpful.I would highly recommend Capitus and will continue to utilize the resources the school provides.

**Update** I have finally completed my course and am still very happy with the education I received through the online course. I still agree with my original review regarding misinformation between the audio and the student narratives in later sections, however this didnt prevent me from following along in the section I was in. I really enjoy being able to go back through certain chapters and listening to the audio when I dont have my textbook with me! Now that Ive completed Ill be taking some review time and going over the Finance chapters and math portions to make sure Im 100% comfortable since math is not me strongest area.Otherwise Im very satisfied and look forward to passing!!Im halfway through my pre-licensing program in my first month since registering and love this style of learning provided through the online program. So far i have no complaints except in the Agency Practical section and the corresponding chapter in the physical textbook. In doing the student narrative of the Exclusive Seller Listing Agreement some of the areas in the textbook in the contract are off from what the instructor relays in the audio, so future students be careful and pay attention to this section regarding contracts. Otherwise absolutely love this school/program!

Capitus is by far the best program to learn the technical aspects of the real estate profession, and prepare pre-license students for the state exam. I highly recommend the Capitus program and its instructors.

I completed the 75 hour pre license class a couple weeks ago, and today I completed the required Capitus school final! As my teacher said, I crushed it! 92.5%! The past couple months prepared me to take this final and in 4 days I’ll be sitting for the GA State Exam! I would highly recommend Capitus to everyone! I’ve had two teachers and they were both terrific and most of all working professionals with loads of experience! They will provide you all the knowledge and tools they have, the rest is up to you! You will need to work hard and study! It’s not a cake walk, you need to put in the class room time and then read, study, and practice all finance/math questions and then do it again at least 3-4 times until the topics make sense! Thank you Capitus! I’m looking forward to my State test!

I took the real estate sales course 75 hours online and there were many tech issues, but the office was very kind and offered me an extension for the issues and offered a discount on another program.

******Update- Capitus contacted me and resolved the issue. I wish communication would have been better but they kindly explain what happened. I definitely understood things happen especially with the past year we have had.I have debated leaving a review, but it’s only fair that people are aware. I purchased the classes in back in may. A few weeks after I emailed to cancel my course because I was not going to be able to take the classes within the time frame. I work in the medical field and was working very long hours due to the current situation. I emailed them and requested a refund. I ever let them know I would like to keep the books since I planned on taking them in the future. It is now December and I never received my refund and they will not return my calls or emails any longer. Please be careful.

I’m a student now and I been calling all day trynna ask questions and y’all haven’t answered the phone .. don’t make me feel like I’m wasting my money and time please !

Purchased Zoom Commercial Real Estate Class.... was informed the day before it was cancelled. Why would there be a need to cancel a zoom class, and if so, notification shouldve been received days beforehand. I will never use them again for any of CE class.

I highly recommend Capitus! I took evening courses with Lisa and I couldn’t be more satisfied with my investment. Not only was I provided with the knowledge needed to pass the state exam but the extra resources and knowledge provided by my instructor was exceptional. The facility is also very nice and well kept. It was nice to be in a learning environment that I felt comfortable and safe in. I could go on but the meat of it is that I passed my state exam the first time! Thank you Lisa and thank you Capitus!

Took online course. Personal narration that helped with retaining info versus some courses that are all text. Be prepared for long chapters, but all the info you could need. Very few technical errors that did not affect learning. Def easier on computer than phone but accessible on iphone to listen to lessons & take quizzes. You can also download pdf files for chapters, exercises & print if necessary. Overall, about $25 more expensive, but worth it for the narration & access versus heavy text online courses. They also offer in person cram courses which Ill sign up for. Ala, you can see length of lessons, but they dont time you like some programs making you feel like youre moving too slow. However, knowing timeframe on lessons helps you gage if you have time to complete or you can pick up where you left off. Solid course!

My organization, the Georgia Association of Business Brokers, recently hosted a professional conference with the help of the Capitus Real Estate Learning Center. Although we held our conference at another facility, Cherie J. and the other professionals at Capitus were extremely helpful in getting our classes certified by the GRE for CE credit, providing all needed paperwork, and responding promptly to our queries about the class, all at an extremely reasonable price. I would highly recommend Capitus for professional learning experiences.

I purchased one of their courses and have asked questions via email and phone. 5 days later, still no reply. Time is of the essence...I purchased a cram course from a different company.

So I am gonna play pros and cons.Pro: Tripp is a GREAT resource and teacher at the facility. He is charismatic and genuine towards students.The front desk is very helpful and pleasant to interact with.Pricing isnt bad and the school offers networking events.Con: There are instructors that know real estate but that doesnt mean they should be teachers. Some are SUPER impersonal and come across like they are there for the money. I have 2 degrees and can say that a certain instructor is TERRIBLE!!!!the refund policy here is mediocre at best. I understand a place needs to stay open but things happen in life that make you maybe put off the test or what not.Maybe research the teachers instead of just taking a agent or broker. Set them up on a trial class and see what their reviews are. I was not the only one to say that a certain teacher was HORRIBLE in both her classroom and personal touch.All together I found my experience ok but not anything to brag about. Other schools with better coaches/instructors.

What a wonderful experience, again! I attended this school in 1996 for pre-license studies. Great place for many different Real Estate courses. I’m now back for my Broker course. 5 star operation!! I highly recommend.

I love this place! I received my Prelicense here 20 years ago and many continuing education classes since. The instructors are awesome, and the staff is courteous and always eager to assist. I would highly recommend this school.

My education experience with GIRE (now Capitus) started with taking the online real estate pre-license course back in 2005. It was the easiest and most efficient way for me to get my real estate license. Now, 13 years, later, I run a successful real estate business, and I have been taking both online and classroom courses -- for CE and for designations and certifications. Capitus may be a new name, but it remains the best place in the Atlanta area for real estate education.

I had Lisa Oden, she was nice and you could tell she loved her career but not everyone that’s good in a certain career can be a teacher. Her lessons were vague and most of all, you teach yourself in her class. She basically expects you to learn on your own and anything you may not understand she’ll help with. She taught as if you were already in real estate. Her class is not for beginners or someone that needs details. In my opinion, her class equals online classes because you have to teach yourself. I dropped it immediately and they did refund my money.

I been here for all of my CE classes , pre license and broker pre license . Love this school. The teacher are very knowledgeable in the actual business itself as well. The school is comfortable and well kept . All the tools to succeed are here . I will keep attending .

I took my Sales Agent training at GIRE and found it to be a wonderful experience. Throughout the class I had the opportunity to interact with multiple teachers and found all of them to be extremely knowledgeable as well as accomplished. Would highly recommend taking Real Estate classes at GIRE.

Doing the online classes and its great so far! Good value for the money spent but some of the questions throughout are maddeningly vague or contradict what you learn earlier in the lesson. Mostly the negotiation section; everything else is great

Difficult to get answer when you need them. Ive called the school on numerous occasions. It seems nobody wants to use the phone... strictly email. When I call I get forwarded to a voicemail that is full. I can understand occasionally but this has been a consistent issue for me. I am forced to reach out via email and when I do the message is always frosty as if I have inconvienced them.I proctored a test. I live in Georgia and the school I took the test with faxed the test to GIRE the same day for grading.Why does it take over 5 days to grade. When I contact them ( by email of course) the response is ... we will call YOU when we get it and grade it ... basically dont call us we will call you. Poor customer service ... I never write reviews but this one is necessary!

GIRE offers leading edge real estate training. I have many agents that have gone through the pre-license school and passed the state exam on the first try. Great instructors, great classes! I highly recommend this school if you plan to choose real estate as your career!

GIREs online pre-license testing format was exactly what I needed to succeed. It was well organized, easy to follow, covered all of the important content, and did an awesome job of serving up review sessions so that I could retain all that I learned. I passed my State Exam on the first try and havent looked back since with six contracts closed within my first six months in the field. Ive already recommended GIREs training to others and will continue to do so!
