MS.Jan Elder is one of the best instructors at the school she’s very attentive she cracks jokes that are relevant to the topic and breaks it down she doesn’t just read from the book. She makes it relatable so when you see a question on the final you understand what they’re talking about. I took the 10 day accelerated course I was so nervous but it’s you pay attention and right down notes you can pass … study study study everything she tell you to study will be on the final literally! Do all of the test questions in the booklet they give you and if you have any confusion ASK that one confusion can mess you up don’t think to deep into it ITS REAL ESTATE

Ennis Antoine is truly an amazing instructor. If you have the opportunity to take his class I highly recommend it. I made the mistake of signing up for a 75 hour online course with a different school. Ennis taught me more in the 2 day cram course than I learned in the 90 hours it actually took me to complete the online course. Happy to say I passed the school proctored test the following day!

I went to the Alpharetta location for the Real Estate Salesperson course and it was so beneficial! My instructor Renee was absolutely amazing. She was so educated and so great at keeping the classes attention and interactive. Her personality was so bright and bubbly. After a few people recommending me to this school I’m so glad I listened! The resources given were great. If you’re looking to take this course definitely ask for Renees class! She’s the Queen!! Thank you Renee!!!

I took the online sales prelicense course and recommend it IF you are good at self study. I actually got my license 20 years ago but it lapsed so I had to redo the class and testing to reinstate my license. I preferred a class where you can go at your own pace because I actually wanted to finish faster. Another well known school requires you submit homework that has to be checked by an instructor before you can go to the next section. I was able to finish the course in 8 days and passed the school test a couple days after that. The state test is booked months out but I kept checking in case a spot opened up and luckily one opened up so I was able to finish the course and the school test and state test all in less than 3 weeks. I will say that the course was fine but you really need to study a lot beyond just completing the assignments. I studied every vocabulary term with a flash card app and took notes on important concepts and math skills and reviewed and tried to memorize as much as possible. I would say that the school test was easier than the state test. The state test is worded and structured differently so its a little confusing, I feel if I didnt do the extra studying I might not have passed the state test so its really important to study above and beyond the assignments. A cram course might be helpful but I wanted to get everything done as soon as possible.

I took the Cram Course here some months ago and I learned more in these 2 days than I did from the online school I attended (not Barney Fletcher). The Cram Reference Guide was an awesome tool that I still refer to today. It helped me with understanding the material and with passing the exam! Shout out to Mr. Ennis Antoine for his expertise. He was funny, knowledgeable, and made the class so much more fun. Im recommended the Cram Course and school to all my GA friends looking to get licensed in RE.

June 2020 Webinar CourseOnline Course information was great. However the instructor rarely stopped to assist with questions. The course had over 75 people which was surprisingly crowded for an online course. Many people dropped out after the first couple of classes costing them over $300 because she refused to stop and answer questions. Some students then after reported to Barney Fletcher about the lack of confidence they had during the course. Most of the class dropped once the mathematics portion was introduced. Please do better many people felt they were ripped off.As the end of the course arrived I had received an email stating,” As of the end of class , you owe 30 mins of makeup time; in other words, even if you have perfect attendance until the course ends on, you will be 30 mins short of fulfilling the Commission’s 75 hour requirement. Which completely had me confused because there were moments the system went out and we were informed we wouldn’t be penalized. Please value the students, just as you value their dollar 🙂

I recently took the accelerated course with Carl Seale, and the cram course with Ennis. Both instructors were very great at their job, and fully prepared me to pass the end of course exam. I am currently waiting to take the state exam, and I feel very confident that I will pass it as well. Thank you Carl and Ennis for being great instructors.

Prior to enrolling, I went back and forth on whether to do an online class or to sign up for the accelerated in-person class.... I opted for the latter, which proved to be an excellent decision! My 2 week course was instructed by Lee Wiggins, and I must say, coming from a person who has not always loved the classroom setting, it was AMAZING! Lee made the content fun and engaged the class by telling stories and personal experiences, in order to help us remember different aspects of the real estate transaction. I had 0 experience (other than my personal home purchase), and Lee was able to break things down in a very simple, easy to learn way. I was able to pass the BFU and state exam on the first try!! I would highly recommend anyone who is considering this industry to consider Barney Fletcher, and to request Lee Wiggins as your instructor!! Good luck and happy selling!

I took the 6 week evening pre-license course at the Cobb Galleria location with Ennis Antoine. I passed the class exam as well as the state license exam both on the first try. I did not purchase any additional materials and did not take the cram course. Mr. Antoine is by far the BEST instructor. Hes a very real, down to earth, no-nonsense, transparent person. Hes hilarious and engaging and super relatable. You will gain knowledge about so much more than just real estate from him. He was constantly dropping little gems and life lessons throughout the class. He is very experienced and professional and you can tell he knows his stuff. If you do your part and PAY ATTENTION (from the moment class begins to the minute it ends every single day) and actually STUDY outside of class, he will give you everything you need to pass. There is a lot of information so I could see how the 2-week accelerated course would be very difficult if you are trying to juggle a lot outside of this class as well. I feel the 6 week course was a good pace and Mr. Antoine did a great job of keeping us engaged the entire time. Also Id highly recommend Barney Fletcher as they were able to work with me in getting rescheduled for a later class after I fell ill and was hospitalized during the time I was originally supposed to start the class. They made rescheduling super simple and hassle free. Also the Cobb Galleria location is convenient and has everything you need (good available parking, clean restrooms, vending machines, coffee, and microwave). Would hands down recommend Barney Fletcher schools and ESPECIALLY Ennis Antoine to anyone looking to earn their GA Real Estate License.

I had a great experience with Barney Fletcher for my pre-license class. I took the two week accelerated course with Lee Wiggins, and he was an excellent instructor! I was able to grasp difficult concepts because he used humor and stories to help us understand the material. The classes are long but there is coffee, and the material allows you to write along with the teacher. I also recommend the cram course offered here too! The guide for the cram course helped me pass the state exam. I passed the final on the first try and the state exam on the first try all because of this school and the dedicated instructors. Also....as an out-of-town student, I was able to get good rates with nearby hotels by mentioning this school. There is a list the school will email you, which helped me save so much money.

I took the two week pre-license course here and it was excellent. My instructor used humor and anecdote to make dry subjects interesting. I passed the licensed test on my first try. The facilities were on par with most Georgia Public Schools. The administrative staff was easy to deal with and the school also offers cram courses to help you pass the test. I am going to go here for my Brokers license when I am able.

I signed up for a Barney Fletcher cram course after completing an inexpensive online course (not Barney Fletcher) which left me feeling unprepared for the state exam. The cram course was well worth the $70 investment. There was so much information that wasnt included in my original course. Needless to say, yesterday I passed my state exam on the first try. I couldnt have done it without the Barney Fletcher cram course. I highly recommend it!!!

Stay away. I failed the test twice. I maintain an online GPA over 3.75 going for a Masters Degree in college currently and I am an excellent test taker. Studied like no tomorrow and failed twice. Not one single person in both of my test sessions passed it on the first time. Most were taking it for the third or fourth time. There were even people taking it for a fifth and sixth time (which means they had to take the 75 hour course three times). Seriously, I know the test is to weed people out, but this was ridiculous. I feel like this is a scam that offers you a 10% discount if you fail. Really felt like I was getting cornholed and not educated. Also they never send you the material you requested unless you are there in person. They finger point instead of taking responsibility. Seriously, stay away. Also office is atrocious, and paperwork is everywhere, no organization. This is a reflection of their work.

I attended the Barney Fletcher Real Estate School in Alpharetta, GA and was extremely satisfied with the entire experience from start to finish. The director of the school explained everything very clearly, including that if a broker sponsored me I could receive a discount, which I did and applied towards textbooks and online test preparation practice tests. The instructor was phenomenal - he was very experienced in the real estate business and knew the curriculum without even looking at his notes. He was very passionate and enthusiastic about the business and went at a slow enough pace (especially with the math) that all the students had ample time to clearly understand the subject matter. Thanks to Barney Fletcher and our excellent instructor, not only did I pass the school test the first time, I also passed the state test the first time and I am now a licensed real estate salesperson in the state of Georgia!

Not a good experience, hotel staff made it known that we were not welcomed. The AC was broken or turned off temperatures exceeded 85 degrees. We were packed like saltines in a small hot smelly classroom; There was one small TV screen located on one side of the room making it difficult for anyone not sitting in front of it to see. The text book was outdated and scattered, questions were often left unanswered. The instructor was friendly but not skilled at educating, so much important information not covered, she didnt appear to have control of the classroom and was often unfocused. I wish Id had a better experience, it certainly was not worth the time and money spent, I am so disappointed.

I found the instructors to be polite, but sadly they did not prepare me for the exam. There were questions on the exam that were not topics discussed in class, examples would be ADA laws, we covered some lease concepts but at a high level sadly there were a lot of lease questions. I feel that if your going to collect a premium I expect to have questions answered and be poised to do well at a exam. There was no real clear syllabus, the books contained inaccurate information that is dated. There were a swath of handouts which also were inaccurate, we were advised to update, omit or otherwise correct.

I learned more about Carl Seale than real estate. He talks so much about himself it was annoying. Im surprised he is in real estate, he talks about his previous clients like they are nothing. Also always excessively has to mention, so this hispanic lady... this biracial couple... Not only that, just talking about politics and certain kinds of people really made a lot of the students uncomfortable. Most of the students during the breaks and lunch were talking about how they werent learning anything. And it just sucks to agree, but I really hope the school enforces some kind of daily plan. He spent more than a week talking about himself, just to cram GA (the largest portion of the test) into two days. Thank God I was able pass the test from my own study skills. The class was more than just a waste of time, it was really a waste of money.

Thats true about the hotel Wingate make you feel are not Welcome cold coffe, etc. Mr. Seale is not a very understanding person and is quite strict. I felt that he wants to treat us like elementary school students. Today I went with an true intention to learn but I do not feel that he is a dynamic or enthusiastic teacher that inpires motivation. I feel like Im receiving classes on internet because of the lack of interaction in his class. He does not get up from his desk, he is constantly tired and yawning. He makes me feel more discouraged in his class by begrudgingly answering my questions. The school need hired new teachers. Mr. Seale he talks so much about himself it was annoying.
