Store associates are rude. They will let customers form a line and stand there waiting to be served and will not take the time to inform the customers that they have to sign in on a kiosk to be served. The icing on the cake is when you ask to find out whats going on the associates have attitudes explaining the process. Really disappointed with this store experience.

Horrible customer service called and asked store what brand office chairs were in stock.was promptly hung up on. When I attempted to call again the store wouldnt answer the phone.

Slight miscommunication resolved by competent store manager.Had a problem with a canvas printing order. I ordered a framed print. When I went to pick up the order (after receiving the ready to pick up email), I was told that they dont do frames here. So I had to head back with just the canvas print.I sent feedback to the store outlining my problem. The store manager contacted me via email immediately and issued a refund. While the experience was not ideal, I was able to resolve my problem quite easily. Good job by the store manager, Mr. Jeff!.

My experience printing for my business here definitely pushed me to use online printing services like Moo. It’s worth the wait to not deal with a location that has no knowledge, no CS skills.You literally have to do everything yourself here; they have no actual skills in printing.Also; charging customers $2.50 to print a single piece of paper, is crazy within itself? Even more when your self service machine is broke!I will do my due diligence to also find a small owned local service. These majorCorporations can get away with anything because they are more established; it’s outdated and I hope anyone reading this will do more to support small business 🌹

Up until yesterday, I would have rated this place better. I go to Office Max very often for my printing and faxing needs. However, I learned that Office Max is now charging customers $2.50 to print! Ridiculous! The reason i was provided is to keep customers from printing just one page. First of all, why does it matter how many pages a customer prints at a time!? That’s no business of Office Max. Secondly, the self-service printing doesn’t make it any better because it held $5 and I had to wait 3-5 business days to get my money back. Very disappointed in this new policy and I’ll be taking all my business needs elsewhere.

Im too busy to print any paper right now, said the girl who spent the next 15 min talking to another employee doing absolutely NOTHING. Worse service I have ever seen. Is the same African American lady with a blond short hair. And to make things worse the machine that is self service takes about 10 minutes to do anything. Im so upset that I dont want to ever come back to this store.

There is an employee at this store named Toni and I would like to thank her for her kindness. She is helpful and pleasant even when dealing with rude customers like me. I’m not usually a rude customer but when stress takes over and you have a lot going in your life sometimes you tend to take it out on people. I unfortunately took that on her and she could have responded with a short statement of where and what i needed but instead she took the time to say a little more words of wisdom that i honestly needed to hear. I won’t lie i went back to my car and boohooed cried not because she made me but because she just reminded me that my Life is a blessing. I’m thankful for people like her.

Placed my notary stamp order on 10-21-2019, it was never filled its been over 14 business and counting. I still have NOT received my notary stamp order. horrible experience, went up there twice inquire about my order the guy who was up there was very rude. I just want a refund at this point

I have been going here for years. There used to be a person (woman) here who was nice and efficient. Some time ago this person left and new people came on board. There is one person there who usually waits on me. She is a black woman with blonde hair. Dont know her name. Very snippy. Not polite. They are close by so I usually go there. Just a warning. Dont expect smiles and please come backs or thank you for your business at this location.

The young lady named Velvet at the print center was very helpful. She assisted my daughter and I the best way possible. Customer service seemed to come natural with her. She made my experience welcoming. I most likely will come back to this location.

Horrible customer service at this Smyrna location. Dont get your files printed here because they do not print the same and then instead of the staff helping to resolve the issue they blame you and procrastinate instead of figuring out a resolution OR refunding you for your services! The office depot on east west connector is a lil better than this location. I definitely will NOT come back to this one! Why are people hiring retail workers who have no BASIC CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS then promoting them to be Supervisors??? Wow. Dont waste your money here because it will cost you time and your peace.

Nick (manager) is super friendly and works efficiently. Greeted me right away then tended to the work I needed at the print/copy area. Also scored on some great clearance items!!

Whoever picked this location was genius; several good eateries nearby, Petco to one side and Five Below to the other; a great location for errand running. The store itself is even better. Employees were courteous and attentive, and were able to give me exact locations for all the products I needed for my project, changing what could easily have been an hour-long store browsing into a ten-minute dither over which specific items to pick. Location is clean, staff are knowledgeable, and, though some people say their products are pricey, I was able to get everything I needed for a college project on a full-time students budget (which is about nil.) Definitely a go-to for school supplies and the things you need for that presentation thats due in a week.I really hope theyre paying that staff well, though. Their employees are stellar, and deserve it.

Only issue (just like all OfficeMax) is that they always seem to be understaffed. They’re nice but I wish the service was much faster.

Worst costumer service ever. Walked in to print some magazines for my business and the first words from the lady at the print center were if you want me to print you something you need to come back later I ,am busy (with some attitude) well imma never coming back thats for sure , Staples might take better care of me as always. And the best part its that its more reviews about this person behind the counter , just wow.

Went in the store to pick up a fountain pen about 45 minutes till closing. After being greeted I found the writing instruments aisle with relative ease. After l couldnt find what I was looking for I decided to leave.Before I left I decided to ask the cashier for help and he then called someone to help me. The person who helped me did find several pens that I had not seen and I purchased one of them.The 3 stars are because there wasnt anyone there to help me until I asked for assistance. Had i not asked for help i wouldnt have found anything

The OfficeMax team helped me with a last minute/rush order for 30+ name tags for an upcoming client conference. The order was placed in the afternoon and done perfect by 7. Brian, in the print center, assisted me with formatting the tags into a printable template, while Hamilton assisted with completing the order. Great service all around.

Jeremy at this location is rude, not very knowledgeable and doesnt know how to ask for help. Prepare to be left on hold and know that if you order anything in store ; they do not offer delivery or assembly services. This location only.

Ive gotten business cards, had a banner made and had a logo vectored and I have had no problems. Service can be a bit slow in the print area, only because they seem to only keep about 4 people on staff and the print center only had one person for the times that I visited. So it may be different on other days but that was just my experience.

Place hasn’t been updated in 20 years it seems and if you want something printed fast, forget it. Guy behind printing services counter seemed to have no idea what he was doing and one of the two self serve printers was not working. Ironically, they have a sign in front of the self serve that reads, “Ready. Set. Print. Waiting in line is a thing of the past.” I won’t be coming back here

Tried to get something printed. The lady was rude. She said she didn’t have the size paper I needed for the job because she was out. You have a whole store full of paper, so that doesn’t really make since. I think she just didn’t want to do the job. I don’t know how this store stays in business.

One of the employees, an overweight bald man, was extremely rude and patronizing. He treats customers disrespectfully just because he can. Go to a different store if you are expecting friendly service.

Best to avoid this office Max location unless you do not mind being mistreated by what appeared to be possible reverse discrimination. The lack of customer servicing at the copy making area and the entire (mis) behavior of the African American female employee with the Dennis Rodman hair style was far beyond just having a bad day or a bad hair day. It was more in line of possible racist behavior. I did attempt to discuss this situation with the manager, that did not know if he was the manager or not when I first asked him a simple question. I said excuse me sir, are you the manager? I quote maybe , what is it to you? I then said, sir I ask you a very simple question, are you or are you not the store manager? A simple yes or no answer would be fine. He than said, yes, I am the manager, but I am too busy right now to talk with you, I am busy with another customer about that time a lady walked up from behind me. So I than said that I will wait. I waited about ten minutes as he appeared or intented to make a few copies for her as extremely slow as was humanity possible. Finally, he came over to the side counter to talk with me. His attitude had not gotten any better, so I as made an attempt to discuss calmly and discribe the other employees behavior he smarted off again. So at that point the Gloves came off, I no longer attempted to be nice or calm.I said now I more clearly fully understand why the the African American lady has the attitude that she does, you clearly empower and enable her to act the way that she does and you also have an attitude that is unbecoming of any true manager or supervisor.You started this entire situation off on a bad note by smarting off and than interrupting me, so now, I will give you my thoughts and in a way that you will better understand, a dose of your own medicine. As I said previously, the gloves came off, I told him the he is a Fat, Lazy Slob, with no management or supervisor skills, and that she definitely takes her misbehavior from his attitude.He then ordered me to leave his store and that he would inform his distinct manager about this situation. I told him that I had made my thoughts known to him and that I also would also inform his manager s about this situation and how both he and his employees treat their customer s. That is exactly what this review is about. Honestly, the one star rating is two stars too much, but since goggle maps does not allow for a minus one, this one star it is.I am still totally amazed by the actions of those two individuals within that office Max location. I still believe why they acted like they did to myself, my wife, and my first cousin that lives very near that location. I have thought about it many times over this past week, the conclusion is still the same. We were just there to make copies of ancrestry research information but we got treated like the civil war was still going on in Atlanta, ironically, on the way over to office Max to make those ancrestry research paper copies, we made plans to go down to the Andersonville Ga Historical site to visit our relatives grave sites that are buried there at the civil war prison memorial; Hubbard Blaylock jr (1844-1864)and Morgan Harvey, (-1865).. They gave their lives in the fight against slavery, and the inhumane treatment​ of others. For the record, all of my relatives except one fought on the union side during that war, I also have served our nation in combat with the U.S.Army and fought against the mistreatment of others around our world. I can not and will not let this type behavior go unchecked, especially in my own back yard, nor should anyone else.With all this being now said, I do not plan on ever doing anymore business with a company like office Max that allows their employees or store manager s to conduct themselves like these two people did.Best regardsDon Blaylock1SG(R) U.S.ArmyDayton TN area

Pre- paid for posterboard. Went back to get them after being told they would be ready in 24hrs by the Manager. They were not ready several days later when I went to get them.Not very professional!

This store false advertises... Products are always in the wrong spot and the manager never wants to honor their mistakes and incompetence. The products are always overpriced here anyways. Go to Walmart or BestBuy and save yourself the hassle.
