My advisor Elliot Campos has been an excellent resource and has been very easy to correspond with via email and telephone. Niko at sound Vision Studios is an inspiring and exciting mentor for the hands on aspects of cinematography and films in general. Ron Peterson has been crucial in helping me shape the foundations for a lifelong career in screenwriting as well. Film Connection has been the best decision in my life so far! 8 weeks in and I already feel confident about my future with the opportunities provided by my mentors.

Over the past few months, I’ve worked on commercials, music videos, and television productions. To see firsthand how passionate a collective group can work even is inspiring.I went to college and got a degree in business management. Having taken part in Film Connection’s program, I wish that everything was designed after their mentor-apprenticeship approach. You get that one-on-one, you’re not just out there learning things as you go alone. You have somebody kind of guide and walk you through it. It works.

It was an amazing experience just to accomplish making that first short film. If I never made this short film, I would have hated myself the rest of my life but because of going to Film Connection I now have two shorts in the can.
