The 1st institution Ive attended that actually caters to entrepreneur minded people and creatives, acknowledging our brains work a little different. Im loving it! All my instructors have been active in the industry for 20+ years! Im in the Entertainment Business Program.

SAE is so trash dawg. they make it look so polished but the teachers are not committed for nothing. you can learn so much better with youtube and a outside loan to afford everything in your own and just pay it back. do not waste your time. the studios are always crashing. Pick another school! This is your sign. Do NOT go here!

Its great as far as studio and gear comes along but they had have staffing issues since Ive been there with the staff seem to constantly change up and be gone. The first time I attended here for a audio diploma I was not that happy about it. I felt like I could have taught everything myself by the amount of YouTube videos I was shown during my time there and that it was a waste. Also, they were quite relentless about terms just going back to back with absolutely no breaks in-between so it was very easy to get burned out.Now for the time I decided to go back and get my degree, they had a complete overhaul with their program and the staffing was a lot more stable and they decided to break down each subject instead of trying to jam everything under one topic which helped people understand the subjects better. They also decided to give breaks between terms as well so students can get proper rest and recovery. All in all, its hard to give this school a solid recommendation because there are a lot of factors that come into play for attending this location. If youre looking to become a music producer, this school is not for you.If youre looking to become versatile in the music industry by being able to run studio seesions, mix tracks, set up live audio and get a better understanding of sound, then this is a good start.

In absolute love with my school. Nothing but the best teacher and hands on learning. I will be confident when entering the sound audio industry in March of 2017

SAE is a some what a new type of education facility! So if your looking for a traditional college then this is not what your looking for! SAE has hands on studio equipment hands on assignments, teachers are really trained, and very good connections through out the city!

Pros: Good entry level understanding of audio.Cons: Easy to discourage your grades. Needs to be able to work with and understand students better.

This place is absolute s***. Everytime I called to ask a question nobody was there to answer. Very lazy and very unorganized. Your gonna learn just as much here as you can on YouTube. This degree wont make you a famous producer. They dont teach you the first thing about working with real artist. Its a sham and a great way to blow 30 grand.

WASTE OF MONEY AND TIME TERM 1 WAS MEDIOCRE TIM JONES GREAT TEACHER KNOWS HIS INFOMATION. ONE INSTRUCTOR I HAD ONLY TALKED BASKETBALL BUT I DID LEARN A FEW THINGS FROM HIM. LAMARR MILLER AND DEL ARE HONESTLY THE BEST TEACHERS THERE THEY ACTULLY GAVE GOOD ADVICE AND TIPS.THE OTHERS THEY RAN OFF. FOR THE MOST PART SAE IS UNDER STAFFED TODD DOES HIS BEST BUT CAN ONLY DO SO MUCH. ALSO THEY PLACE THE TEACHERS IN CLASSES THAT THEY DONT EVEN KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT.

Horrible experience here would give it no stars if I could!!! Made an appointment for a tour and when I got there they told me they were closing early and the reason was because of a Christmas party!!! I drove all the way down there, paid $10 to park and didnt even get to have my scheduled tour. They also told me they couldnt have any one in the building because there was liquor there!!! No one even called me to tell me that my appointment was cancelled. Extremely disappointed and a total disappointment!!

Very unorganized as an Institute. Never on one accord as far as relaying messages, financial advisors clear you for refund checks by mistake & expect for you to pay them back for it, job placement specialists/advisors are as helpful as Indeed.com (literally had one tell me to check there instead), and the Director of the school puts on a great act conveying that he cares but as you move forward with the school, it’ll become clear that it’s all a facade. However, I must admit, the Instructors know their craft to a T, though they aren’t very good or credible teachers. You can tell very well who is just there to collect a check. I gave it two stars for the studio rooms they allow you to utilize because that, Cappreccio Scates & Brooke Beytin’s class (if they haven’t ran them away), some of the equipment they supply and connections made amongst my peers, were the only things that were useful/helpful about this school. Better off saving your funds & youtubing the videos and applying for internships yourself. Still waiting on my degree & I graduated last year.

Dont know what the teachers are like because administration was so difficult/awful to deal with. If you want to learn about recording and live sound, go to sae Miami or Nashville or any other campus.

Im Just gone say this and the school may not like me for it and that is fine but, I get my degree in October. The entire Admin Staff is a Hot Mess at times. about 85 percent of the things we were taught were mostly taught using youtube videos, yes the same vids you can look up on google and at home and teach yo self...those! They only have a small segment of business discussion , very little. They try to show you things but its obvious this a degree mill. Plus even though we finish school in october, get this they pushing back our graduation ceremony for my class a full year before we walk while there is a ceremony actually in the same month they could put us in? These are just some of the conflicts you will have. And first term Teacher, No one understands him he is a great engineer but definitely no a great at teaching or it wouldnt be less than 40 percent for the job rate for this field. You gone learn something not everything and definitely not worth a waste of a $30 to $35,000 Loan. You dont get a refund check until the end of the year?.....where they do that at? this is not even the main issues guys...just...dont waist ya time unless u getting a diploma or some than u good cause its just a hobby. They may say set schedule when you come in but dont be fooled the next term some teacher gone quite gotta hire another one than its very unlikely that time slot will be available again for class. They change things without acknowledging the students of any changes. I am literally just here at this point. Mark my attendance please! Now the school does have famous producers and AR people come to tell you about the field or sign up for a intern. My conclusion, The school needs to go back to the drawing board. You need a committed staff not a scary, oblivious staff. its more of an open club than a school. However, Fullsail has a 79 percent success rate at making sure there graduates are in the field after they graduate, even tho that school is 90,000 bucks, its a great school I was told.
