My daughter goes to this school. Shes learning, has straight As, loves it. So, I love it!

When my little brother went here about 10+ years ago the staff was amazing. My niece and nephew go here now and I am not impressed with the way things are handled now at the school

The school ranks highest in Auburn, but it also has the highest ranking of socio-economically priveledged students. To keep school ratings up, children are passed through the system whether they are prepared or educationally ready. When my children attended, we were lied to several times about our daughters placement with a teacher she would better learn from, per the suggestion of her Kindergarten teacher. The principal made changes during the summer where my daughter was originally placed in that teachers class, but then moved out to suit the needs of the principals control issues. My husband was deployed at the time and told the principal she needed to be put back in the original class due to a student who cried, literally all 6 hours of the day for a month, and our daughter could no longer emotionally handle this childs behavior. The principal told him she would move our daughter, when I brought her back to school the next day, the screaming child was put with that teacher instead. There were many parents over the years who experienced many similar acts and were lied to by the principal to suit her controlling ways. We had to go to the district to have anything changed. Two years later, she was forced into retirement. We transferred our girls to Auburn Elementary School and have never looked back. Dont be fooled by their statistics, they are highly manipulated. One more thing, I volunteered excessive hours at this school: running fundraisers, field trips, PTC Liaison, end of year parties, holiday parties, running errands, entering contests and building entries for outside projects & winning $200 prizes, 100s of classroom hours and so much more and for that, I was lied to and told to just get over it.

I emailed Ms Pelle ( PE teacher) about my sons PE performance for some clarification last December 8, 2014, and I never get any response at all until this time. I resend the email again to her but still no response. I spoke to the principal, Mr Wood and he said he is going to ask Ms Pelle last December, 2014, however until this time (2015) there is no answer. I talked to Mr Wood today in the office to follow up, but still he can not answer me. Wow, really? It is not fair, yet very frustrating if you dont get any response from a teacher of my son. Please respond before the school year ends. Thanks.just a concerned dad...
