Ive studied martial arts with five different teachers before meeting Sifu Gary LaChapelle and I have to admit, he is one of the best Ive ever worked with. He makes Kung Fu and Tai Chi achievable for a person of any age or ability. In the five years Ive been studying with him, Ive seen him connect with everyone, each time in a meaningful way. He truly loves what he gets to teach and enjoys sharing it at every opportunity. With so much variety in long fist kung fu, I can see why he loves it. His passion is infectious.

I have studied under Sifu Gary LaChapelle for about three years now, learning both the ancient and beautiful Hua Chuan long fist style of kung-fu & the Yang style of Tai Chi Chuan. I cant say enough positive things about our school. As a high-mileage adult, I always feel better physically and have a more positive mentality when I finish classes with Sifu Gary. Ive been a Tai Chi student here for a little over 4 months now, and I cant even begin to express just how much I love this school, my fellow peers, Sifu Gary and his family. Theyve all become my family in the truest sense to me- and their support, encouragement, and enthusiasm for martial arts has driven me further than I ever couldve imagined. For the first time in my life, I feel like I have true confidence, self-esteem, and I can be the very best I can be. Ive made wonderful friends here, and everyone is very welcoming and friendly. Sifu Gary loves what he does, and the ways in which he teaches traditional Tai Chi and Kung Fu make the arts fun and accessible for individuals at all levels- from beginners like me, who have no previous martial arts background, to those who have worked with other disciplines or have been doing Kung Fu and/or Tai Chi for awhile. My boys started in November and they have learned a lot. They love going there. Sifu Gary teaches discipline, respect, and patience which is very important to me. Our children need these core values in life. I look forward to their progression in martial arts.

First of all .....Sifu Gary is the man. He has spent the last 20 years building and developing his talent and reputation in the business and martial arts community. He is a genuine person and excellent teacher. Sifu Gary teaches Thai chi and chi gong at local senior centers around Worcester county in addition to running his school. By the way, did I say he was the man, if you dont believe me stop by the Millbury, Sutton or Holden senior centers,the people LOVE him. In April he hosts world Thai Chi day, which is an incredible event. Stop by the school, bring your son, daughter, better half or grandmother. The floor is usually filled with all types, shapes, sizes and off course personalities LOL.Footnote . If like fishing or eating, this is also the place.

My son has been practicing Kung fu for over 10 years. Sifu Gary is one of the best teachers around. The higher black belts at the school are very welcoming and always willing to help out. This is truly our second home and second family.

Ive been studying Tai Chi and Kung Fu for 7 years now in this school with Sifu Gary. I started when I was 42 years old after NOT doing any martial arts for 20 years. Sifu Gary makes it fun! Ive learned so much and put my body back in shape. Ill be doing this for life. This school is a HIDDEN GEM in the community!
