Waubonsie Valley and the Indian Prairie school district consistently rank among the top in Illinois, as well as in the nation. As an alumnus that was highly involved in the music and athletic programs, I can say its part of what really sets this school apart.

I too went to WVHS, and looking back it was a great high school experience, precisely because of the diversity- working-class (AKA poor) kids from Aurora mixing with upper middle-class (AKA rich) kids from Naperville, fantastic special needs program and really good AP classes, great sports programs but also great music and arts programs, and really hard-working teachers (despite crappy pay). I find it ironic, another reviewers comment about whiny anglo saxon suburbanites (as he is one himself); for a public school in suburban Midwest, this was a pretty good place. And yes, there are drugs, but what high school doesnt have that problem? Im happy I went here.

This school sucks Naperville Central is better.
