My son started here in 6th grade and hes a senior now. Hes had 🔥 out this year and his counselors and teachers have been keeping tabs and on him pretty regularly to get him to keep it together because he is so close to blow it now. Ive been 😌 satisfied with the staff and teachers over the six years hes gone to this school. Its a smaller school that has middle school students on the bottom floor and the high school students are upstairs. I was thrilled that we were able to get into the high school program because they only had room for 125 students and they ended up ☝ having a lottery for students to get to be accepted. I will say its good and bad that this school is very forgiving, patient, and lenient when it comes to makeup work and interesting for better credit. Its a title 1 school so they go to great lengths to make sure that the students struggling get all the extra help they need to achieve passing grades rather then flunk kids out. Plus Id say the kids are really good and most of them are respectful and are there to learn.

6th grade year was good, was at the peak of greatness. By 8th grade, it was terrible. (3/10 would somewhat not recommend)

I have never had trouble trying to get in contact with a principal or vice principal. Especially in a sensitive topic such as bullying, in a school where the vice principal finds basketball games more important then handling a situation of a student being bullied. Schools like this always take action when it is too late. Also do not expect them to take truency serious as I have had to call and remind them to do their job.

Went for a basketball game kids were cussing and they said that they kept sportsmanship but would distract when shooting threes. And were very rude. Before the game even started this guy came and said that they needed to keep sportsmanship but there team didnt and it was very unpleasant

If its your only choice for schooling, your kids will be better off home schooled, if your looking for a good school to nurture your children then youve defiantly come to the wrong place.

I went here for a year. It wasnt terrible but not the best. But I have good memories and kept some friends.

My child was bullied so badly here, that after 2 years of the staff not doing anything to stop it, I pulled her from this school and put her in online school for her 8th grade year. She now attends Rangeview High School and loves it! My younger two are going to be in middle school soon, but they WILL NOT be going here!!

The falculty are amazing and my son loves it here!

Best school learn lots of things and security

The school is incompetent. They are not helpful. There was a couple of incidents that the school should have called immediately on and it Took all day for something that happened BEFORE SCHOOL. My son has been labeled a problem student since he started attending.

I called to find out if there is any kind of information session for potential parents. No one had any idea what I was talking about. I was told there is no admissions department, no one knew who prospective parents should talk to and it appears the phone numbers and info listed is incorrect. I guess we will keep looking.

It is a safe school, the atmosphere is welcome and in this new administration, everything is improving, our principal is very accessible and very competent, is achieving a very good team. Of course this takes time but the parents of Auroeea West, we are very happy with their performance.
