I am so glad we found Dr. Laura through a referral 4 years ago. She has an impressive background in piano and vocal performance and as well a master instructor for young kids. It’s rare to find an instructor who teaches using two Steinway grand pianos and a digital recording studio. All of her students experience incredible growth just after a short time period of learning. Dr. Laura teaches with passion and cares for all of her students.

Before my son came to Miss Laura, he has been learning piano for 1.5 years, but he didn’t develop any appreciation for music. Now after only 2 years studying with Miss Laura, my now 10-year-old son is playing college level music and has won 1st place 2 years in a row at Geneva Granquist Music Festival, 2 nd place at Downers Grove Music Festival, 3 rd place at IL Music Association Festival, and 4th place at IL Music Teachers’ Association competition. Miss Laura’s passion for music is contagious, which is essential in a small child’s case because that’s one of their first experiences with music. She is Also patient and loving to all her students and her teaching techniques r impeccable given the fact that she graduated from the top Russian conservatory. I felt so lucky that we found her as my son’s piano teacher. I never dreamed my son could sit there playing one hour piano, let alone winning numerous prizes.
