Our 2-year old has been going for almost a year and we cannot be more happy. She comes home every day with a new song, new toddler tricks, and all sorts of stories about her day. She loves all of her friends and Ms. Vanessa, Q, and everyone there. We have told multiple other families how great everyone is and how happy we are. Thank you!

My son goes here. We love Ms. Brittany, Ms Vanessa and Ms Umma. But recently his teacher went to a better job the teacher he loved so much. New teacher came and he cries every morning, she yells screans at tham he is potty training 90% ready every other day she tells us he had an accident. When we ask him if he likes her he tells us NO because she is mean and gets mad at him. If this continues we are going to look into a different la petite. When he was with Ms, Vanessa he never cried at drop of now he cries daily. He is only 3 he cant tell us everything that is going on but him telling us that he doesnt like his teacher is a red flag. We love this school and front staff especially Ms Brittany but our sons happiness is more important. Honestly i would recommend this daycare to my friends in a heart beat exept that one teacher. Our son gets so much love and hugs from Ms, Brittany and Ms, Vanessa that he calls tham his friend.

My 3 yr old granddaughter WAS there my daughter unenrolled her today. The teachers supposedly cannot keep her in class. Called my daughter away from work on several occasions, stating my granddaughter may have ADHD & needs meds!! Her doctor disagreed!! She is a normal 3 year old!!Heard that one teacher placed her leg on my granddaughters back to keep her down during nap time. So glad my daughter took her out!!!!Beware!

Love Love Love this place!!!!!!!! This place has always been comforting to me and my family. There has been staff turnover but for all the right reasons. Ms. Ummara and Ms. Brittany are very understanding and loving. My daughter wakes up every morning ready to go see Ms. Vanessa and play with her friends. All of the staff greet myself and my daughter when we arrive. Dont be fooled by disgruntled parents this place is awesome!

We felt so welcomed and loved at La Petite. I have only good things to say about Ms. Ummara, Ms. Brittany, Q, and Marchelle! They treated our daughter like one of their own. We switched daycares due to travel distance, but I miss this place every day. Highly recommend.

We LOVE Freedom and all the staff at La Petite. Our son was very happy here 6 years ago so we didnt hesitate to go back to them when it was time for our 3 year old to go to day care this year. The morning staff love on her from the moment she steps through the door. Her teachers are wonderful too. Friendly and attentive to all the kids. Its so fun to get the pictures that they take so we get a glimpse into her days there. Freedom is amazing and always willing to work with our crazy schedule. As a nurse working 3 days a week and rarely the same days week to week it is a true blessing to find such a wonderful caring place that is willing to work with us!

My daughter and I both adore La Petite. She had been to a few other daycare/preschool academies before attending this one, and La Petite is hands-down the best. They seem to have the right balance of structure and fun here, which I think is important for kids and toddlers of all ages. The staff here is fantastic; they know how to keep things organized while still making sure the kids are learning, have the tools and supplies they need, and are having a good time. They also dont seem to have nearly the high rate of staff turnover that Ive experienced at other places, which is awesome. Id recommend this place to anyone needing full-time or before/after school care.

We enrolled our children in July and have been extremely impressed with the amount of attention and care our children have been provided by this center. Freedom and her amazing staff are wonderful! Everyone knows both my childrens names and every time we walk in or out they all say hi or goodbye. I love this center and must say that if you are looking for a wonderful place to bring your kids this is it! A special thank you to Ms Jessica (so sweet and nice), Ms Megan (awesome a corralling three year olds!!), Ms Netta and Ms Bitty (who have just embraced my crazy little boy!) We love you all!

This location of La Petite is awesome. This academy accepted my son within days of me inquiring. I pay cash and have never had an issue with being over charged The staff at this location by Quincy reservoir are extraordinary and are really into teaching pre school age childrenand getting them ready to enter school. It is a well run school with magnificent ethics being taught to the children. As a grandmother who has adopted her grandson i feel blessed by this facility.

Integrity is gone. Corporations ripping apart a close knit team. Back stabbing, Back room decisions made. Cant get a straight answer from anybody. Upper management is SHADY. Lower Management is under qualified for the job. You reap what you sow. The Center as I knew it for 16 years is a shell of its former self. Shame on you La Petite.

Our eldest child has attended La Petite for over two years now and we couldnt be happier with the facility. The teachers there genuinely care about the kids and its clear that the kids love their teachers as well. I find the curriculum to be very engaging and my oldest talks enthusiastically about what he does at school. Hes made plenty of friends here too, which contributes to the positive environment. The entire La Petite community is wonderful here. The only drawback is that there is no infant room at the facility, so our youngest will have to wait until age 1 to start, but were so pleased with the facility that it was never even a question as to whether both kids would be enrolled here.I would not hesitate to recommend this La Petite facility to anyone with day care needs.

After months in waiting list I was told there was not any room for my child, they definitely prefer kids on ccap government funding than parents who actually want to pay for their kids education, it’s just better for them knowing they can keep these kids for longer periods of time because the government is providing them funds from our taxpayer money, every academy they own seems to do this and I’m sure it’s to secure the kid/student will be there longer than other who pay out of pocket

My 4 year old daughter and I absolutely LOVE La Petite! I wouldnt dare take her anywhere else. She loves all her teachers and all the friends she has made, theyre all she ever talks about. I wouldnt recommend bringing your child here! Ive been going here for almost 3 yrs & NOW all of a sudden they dont have room? Right?!? Maybe because I actually pay cash and Im not on CCAP? This place has gone downhill, staff turnover? (YES!) dirty? (YES!) It used to be such a nice place, but now the new acting manager, running the place things arent as SMOOTH as they would have you believe. So many times I brought in clothes and toys that they gladly accepted without hesitation, but when I need something to be done its not allowed (meaning I cant go on vacation w/ my little one without either paying while not there or THEY UNENROLL THEM) what would corporate say if they knew all the things you have because me?

Management is very poor, leading to high staff turnover. Also, they will continue to charge you after you take your child out; Im still fighting to get two weeks of tuition back after 5 phone calls and 3 months of being told its on its way. The corporate structure is set up so its impossible to speak with the folks who are actually responsible for decisions.

We recently took a tour of La Petite and were very impressed with the teachers and staff. It was the only center weve toured where the Director gave us the tour herself. We immediately felt comfortable upon entering the building and will be registering our son very soon. We are excited for him to begin learning at La Petite.

When first looking into daycare for my children I was terrified. I never thought I would find the kind of care and environment that was suited for my children (or me). Until I found the Aurora La Petite Academy and met Freedom, the facilities director. My twin girls are now 2 1/2 and have moved from the age one room, to the age two room, and now to the early preschool room where they are flourishing. The classes are centered on developmentally appropriate programs and it shows when my children come home with new ideas, games, and thoughts they want to share with me. They love the friends they have made and teachers that head the classrooms. The staff is warm and listens to all of my concerns and works with me so that I feel comfortable leaving them in their care everyday. I can not thank La Petite Academy enough for loving and caring for my children when I can not be there.

My son has only been going here for a couple weeks, he went to a different daycare for a little over a week and never seem to be adjusting which isn’t why I switched him this was just my first choice and it was a good one. My mom and I both felt a different vibe at this daycare, not to mention they seem to keep it very clean. He cried when I dropped him off the first day and that was it. He actually looks forward to going. I literally ask him is he ready for school and he nods head yes lol. I can also tell he really likes his teacher Brittany. Her and Ms. Regina are great.

I have reported this daycare to licensing. I used to work there and when I left I kept my kids there because I know who everyone is. They have been going there since December of 2015. All the while I was employed, there were no problems with my kids so I loved that I could keep my kids in a familiar place. The director that was there when I used to work there left ....then the problems started. First my 3 year old whom has been potty trained since she was 25 months regressed and I have to put her in pull ups when she is sleep. They all tend to forget my daughter needs a pull up and she gets her clothes wet during naptime almost every 2 or 3 days. The teachers are not on the same page. There are 5 teachers in the whole building who actually know what they are doing after my daughters favorite teacher left. The rest are substitutes and some are new. My son developed some behavioral issues in which he does not have at home while attending their school aged room. This class had always been a class that needed work because most of the kids tend to bully eachother. The children are not to blame when there are adults in the room who should be giving them guidance on how to be peaceful and how to engage eachother in a positive manner with a productive outcome. So my son has been getting into trouble basically for fighting with kids who pick on him (I am not saying he was not probably also engaging in the teasing and horseplay with other kids). He is 6 years old and is not used to being around hectic environments so I believe the anger and frustration he had stimulated from none of the teachers paying attention and the teachers are letting the kids do what they want up until someone gets hurt (at which point they have to intervene to write the incident reports). They actually always had free play in that class K-5 (5-12 years old). I have repeatedly told this class with the teachers and wrote one letter to the old assistant director that they need to engage in productive activities as team mates with the oldest kids being the leaders. Instead for the summer the kids have been going on field trips every single day and not learning how to appreciate one another. My son stopped wanting to go on the field trips because he said he did not like anyone there. The incident reports I kept receiving from my son getting into fights seemed as if the adults were okay with the other kids clearly bullying and not okay with my son defending himself. He is not taught to be a bully and is actually deprived of his cartoons and toys and can only read books during the time period of his discipline. Yet he continued to only be violent at school and I was not understanding why. I encouraged him to tell his teachers and he always says he does but they do not care. There is a teacher in the next room who has known my son since he was 2 and she always tells me he is fine and will seclude hisself and the other kids probe him when he is trying to calm down. This is when he becomes angry because where are the adults to stop the kids from bothering him? I am not saying it is okay for him to explode. We have been working on ways to release anger such as scribbling on paper and throwing it in the trash or allowing himself to breathe by counting to 10. One of his teachers told me my son lies to me about what is going on and that he explodes just to do it. I just would like to be enlightened on why he is not like this at home with his sister or with the many nieces and nephews I have that are his age. He is a good kid overall. He told me recently his teacher has been being too rough with him and other kids. His shirt was ripped the last time I picked him up and I was not told he got into a fight with a kid until after that teacher was accused. There is a whole lot more to this story. The police were involved and encourage me to take civil actions since there are no cameras to prove anything. Do not take your kids to people that value the job more than the kids. Period.
