This place abruptly shut its doors in 2018 leaving all its students high and dry. Why the hell Google still has this place even listed as existing is just dumb.

As a Double-major well on my way to exceeding all my professional goals I have to say I couldnt have done it withoit the help and support of the industry specific training of the staff and faculty. Ecotech Institute has helped me to realize more than my own life goals. I have been positioned to be a mentor and role-model for others. Thank you Ecotech Institute and thank you Agnes!

Veterans beware, this school is not an accredited school recognized by the G.I. bill & have lied to students saying this will be accredited in the future. I have never been to a school where veteran & civilians have been cheated out of their education. The school Dean is unprofessional & should step down. Not only has he snapped & raised his voice to me but to other students. The Renewable Energy Technologies counselor is a joke, & has negatively affected my lively hood & other vets lives as well, he needs to be removed asap. I have never felt so cheated out of my education ever. This school should be ashamed & investigated. The Army Times posted an article talking positive about this school that is just inaccurate & misleading. I unfortunately have 3 semester left & those credits obtained will go to waste & are not transferrable. I do not recommend this school to any veterans, & the students who have posted positive reviews about this school should stop making this school seem better than what it seems.

I enjoy school, and I enjoyed it here until the schedule changes. Dont expect to get books by midterms, they cant even get ordering your books right so you may not be able to do assignments or even learn until the last two weeks of class. Also keep an eye on your courses, they may try to sneak one in when you arent looking. All activities are day time activities so night class students are completely excluded. Financial aide has no idea how to even add, I argue with them every single semester. It has been nothing but a nightmare and Im tired of sending emails and calling to get my records and financial aide fixed. Im not the only one attn VETERANS: They have been known to mess up GI bill documents so you may not be able to pay rent or get food from time to time. They USED to be good. Instructors are enjoyable though... But that is the only redeeming quality they have.

A refreshingly rational, pragmatic, and intensely practical center of learning. A rarity in American education right now. With a name like Ecotech, you would expect it to spout drivel and political agendas of global warming. It is not so. In fact they are quick to acknowledge what they do, and more importantly, do NOT know, and approach the subject with realism and open mindedness, and thats coming from someone who is still a skeptic on the whole issue of global warming! Its teachers have been in the field, and stick to the hard facts, not Ivory tower dogma. The staff are passionate about renewable energy, but not unrealistically, for they are results oriented and eager to help the student who helps themselves. They are exemplar to the industry, and achieve more dollar for dollar than any college or university Ive ever encountered.

This was a school I found to be student focused, despite the company that owns it. I will miss the teachers that worked at this school and the atmosphere that kept me working hard.

People complain about the costs of this school. I really dont understand why. With just graduating from one degree and starting another program, my total fees were less than many other places. When you walk into this institute, keep your mind open to the possibilities. You are in the ONLY fully dedicated renewable energy focused college in the United States. Every instructor that you meet will have an immense amount of knowledge in the course being taught, having the background experience, and the passion to teach you everything they can, as long as you are willing to put in the work. From the day that I started at this school, my way of thinking has made progress and the options for career opportunities are endless. Every staff member is resourceful and it is your responsibility to utilize them.

I was in the second graduating class from this school. The school is set up completely around renewable energy and this submersion in the field was priceless. If I had to do it all over again, I would.

Without Ecotech Institute, I wouldnt be as successful as I am today! I currently work as a Wind turbine technician for Nextera Energy in South Dakota and Im loving every minute! This Institution has prepared me greatly before entering my career and Im advancing very quickly at my site. For anyone wanting a career in wind turbines, I strongly encourage you to attend Ecotech Institute because you do not get a certificate, but instead you will get an associates degree! Im the only technician in South Dakota with a wind degree and it feels good. When you are done with Ecotech, you will come out with your associates degree, OSHA-30 Certification and alot of electrical and wind turbine experience/knowledge under your belt. I would like to give you food for thought for a moment. Reading a Google Review is a great idea, however being at the school and asking questions to instuctors and students will truly give you a great idea of what this college is about! I believe to be successful at something, you have to bring your want to! Lol You have to put in the effort, take time to study and always ask questions! Not everyone can be a leader, but us that strive for success have earned our right to improve and eventually get there! Success doesnt happen in seconds, it takes dedication and hard work. If you only put 75% into your work, expect 75% of a paycheck. If you have any questions, PLEASE feel free to message me anytime! Make the world your workplace!!! Im proud to be a NextEra!

Save your money school is a joke. For profit business model that will accept anyone and most of their job placement is into jobs that you can get without a degree from here making less than 18 dollars an hour. Most of the students are stoners and i would not want to be associated with this place under any circumstances. The solar program does not give you as good of a certification as if you just get a job installing with a solar company and get certified, actually you will make more money if you just get the certification they are being sued for this i believe. Do not attend save your money.Since I wrote this review several drug addicts from the school have responded positively to counter it. I think its because they want a better employment opportunity. To paint a better picture I believe the past dean decided to raise el pacas instead of run this college. I wonder if the el pacas are smarter than these students, definitely a toss up.
