I was skeptical about online live training but it was a great experience. I totally felt like I was in a real class. You can raise your hand with questions and get real time answers.Top notch instruction. Friendly helpful instructors. Nice, professional classrooms. I’m taking six training courses and so far, they have all been worth it.

The Word class was exceptional. The teacher made it very easy to understand and concise. Will consider taking more computer classes in the future. Thank you!

I took a training form MS Word. Initially i thought I wouldnt learn much as I have used word for several years. Im glad to say that I was wrong. The instructor shared ways of doing things that I had not used but would find useful in my daily work. He also showed many useful things that really expanded my knowledge of MS Word. I would take other classes from New Horizons and advise others to take advantage of such training.

Knowledgeable instructors and helpful labs. My only recommendation is update your equipment and your internet connection. We lost a lot of time related to technical issues.

ICND1 taken OLL. Professional delivery with practical application examples. Great environment for the class.I was hesitant to sign up for this, preferring a class with the instructor in the room., but this actually worked better. When questions were asked or comments made, rather then interrupting the flow of the call, these comments and questions were address at a more appropriate time. During the labs if help was needed it was there virtually no waiting.Very enjoyable and beneficial/

My experience with New Horizons was not even worth the one star. They falsely reported absences even while I was in class. They lied to me stating that the attendance policies are governed by the VA. Then when I decided to withdraw on Jan 3, 2018. They sent the VA a notice going retroactive back to June 2017 that I was not in attendance (As if I was never present for 6 months but you wait until I withdraw to report this).I completed the Network Administration program in July 2017. Now I am force to repay over $3500.00 and the VA will not even bother to confirm my attendance. So I have to hire a private attorney. Not to mention all the stress this has caused my children and my self. The VA garnished my entire check so now for April and May I am unable to pay rent or any bills.Truthfully you can buy the same books on Amazon for a fraction of the price. Then YouTube professionals such as Professor Messer. Saves thousands and the headache of what I am dealing with.Another great option is University of Maryland University College. They offer degree programs and the certifications. A lot CHEAPER! Plus even with certifications you have to obtain a degree.Thank you New Horizons for lying to me and about. You were successful with hurting little children but then you could care less. Charging $7,000.00 for certifications that cost $200.00.

I highly recommend the Network System Administrator Professional program; the training provided by the instructors is excellent! I have already passed both CompTIA Network+ and Security+ certification tests. I am in the ICND potion of the program and already know I will be well prepared to pass those certification tests as well.

I enrolled to an Online Microsoft class and I decided to go to the Austin New Horizons center to take it from the lab. Since I was notified to be there 30 minutes before class started thats what I did. Arrived at 7:30 am.Door was open so I walked in and nobody was at the front desk. I waited for 5 minutes and during this time I hear 2 people laughing in the back (break room).Being a first-time student, I didnt know the process or what to expect and didnt want to be late. I walked to the breakroom to see if somebody was able to help me and all I received was a FROWN FACE and ATTITUDE from the front desk big lady asking me: How the hell did you get here?? Door is supposed to be locked! (like it was my fault) .I guess I interrupted her morning coffee and her conversation with the other big guy at the front desk.Even that it was 7:36am, she told me: We dont open until 7:30am, you have to wait outside. I reminded her what time it was and she insisted: Yoy have to wait outside looking at the other big guy and laughing. Finally, at 7:43 the lady came to the front desk, and changing her attitude (from laughing with her fat friend to the grumpy attitude) and showed me where I needed to sit, how to log in (with totally not knowledge of what she was talking about). The worst part is that she had the same bad attitude with every single person that she showed the lab.I read plenty of reviews on YELP complaining about the Worst Costumer Service EVER and after my experience, I can tell those reviews were right (some of them not even close to what this front desk staff is in reality)This courses cost $3,000 for 5 days. For this amount of money, I would expect a costumer service according to what i paid. At least, the same good service I received when their sales person was trying to get me enrolled.Im totally disappointed of this school and frustrated knowing I will have go here since I bought a 1-year pass.Victoria,Thanks for your reply. At some point I really thought sharing my experience at the center was going to help/prevent this situation from happening to others. I guess that management cares the same or less than Front Desk staff since I was never contacted (like you said it was going to happen).
