My son Lucas has been going to Stepping Stone since he was 6 months old and he is currently 3. When we first started, i loved it. Weve had our ups and downs with the location. The principle Jessica and staff were great, no turnovers and everyone seemed happy. Than another int-rem principle came and it was terrible. Now, there is a great principle, Jeanette that took over and she is amazing. My son is currently in Quasars with Ms. Kathy who is phenomenal. it is mainly because of her that my son is potty trained. Her disciple and dedication to the children is amazing. Both my husband and I are so happy with her mannerism & attention to detail. My only concern is that I feel like these classrooms (starting at 3 +) should have (2) teachers only because they are at an age where they need constant attention and with only (1) teacher, that can be difficult.

Stepping Stone has made a great impact on my son, Walter, socially and academically. He started out in the Engineers classroom with Ms. Paola and Ms. Kylie who were the sweetest teachers and did an amazing job getting him used to daycare. Kylie did a great job dealing with his picky eating habits and napping struggles. He is now in the Phoenix classroom with Ms. Megan and she is phenomenal! He is reading and writing like a champ. Her lesson plans are very intricate and the children seem to really enjoy their time as they are learning. I couldn’t have asked for better teachers!

We have had nothing but wonderful experiences at this location. We have a 10 month old at Stepping Stone Brodie who started at the location when she was just three months old. The administration Jessica and Morgan have created such a loving and nurturing environment at the school. The teachers in the baby rooms are excellent and so caring. I know my daughter is well taken care of which is a comforting feeling for a first time mom.

Infant care is substandard. My baby was always frozen. Her little hands and feet were ice-cold every time. I gave specific instructions to dress her in the warm clothes I brought and those instructions were ignored. I went in one day and found her dressed in just a body suit, completely cold. She was just 2 months old!I was told the place is kept so cold to keep germs down. Unless the place is sub-zero, thats absolute nonsense. The place appears to be understaffed. Mrs. Lola and Miss Priscilla are excellent caregivers but they suffer with too many babies, many absences, and uncertain staffing levels to the extent that the principal herself claims to have cared for my precious baby. What did it for me was the day I picked her up and found her with scratches up and down her face! I was - and still am - livid. Sure, babies can scratch themselves but the extent of the injuries was so severe that neglect, at best, was the quality of care given. And she never, ever, had scratches in the 2 months I cared for her personally. She had deep scratches down her cheeks and under her eyes. Thank goodness here eyes were not damaged! There was no report. I was not called. When I confronted the director, she had no idea of what happened. The principal was no where to be found. My baby was immediately dis-enrolled and a police report filed. When I picked up her stuff, the incident report appeared, filed at 9pm (! - they close at 6:15pm) on the date of injury and stated that they were too busy to file it earlier. My blood boils to this day. I paid them for quality care and didnt get it. They were paid NOT to be too busy to properly care for my child. My baby was in their care for just 10 days.Hold your baby tight. This is definitely not a place youd want to entrust your precious child to.Never again. Never.

We had our daughter enrolled here for about 2 years, and had a great experience. They have some wonderful teachers that really care about the kids. Thank you Miss Jessica, Miss Meagan, Miss Paula & all the team for taking such wonderful care of Sienna.

My first daughter went to this school starting at 6 weeks old. As you can imagine, I was very scared to take her anywhere, so I chose this location as it was close to my office. The staff here took care of my baby as if she were their own. Especially, Lola and Priscilla. I came in almost every day at lunch at first to feed her and they always were so welcoming to me. I will always remember this experience at her first school. Great School!

My child got an accident Friday, August 12,2016 causing her front tooth to get pushed up against her gums. When they called me they just told me that her lips bumped and her mouth wont stop bleeding. When my husband came that when he found out that my child is already missing her tooth. We got called by the Regional Director following day and she said that she will be stopping by Monday to meet us and discuss. We went Monday and she did not even show up! The center director said that the regional director has a lot of meeting. What an excuse! My husband and I are also working and cancelled our meeting! This daycare facility just really dont care and doesnt give a damn if your child is hurt!!! This not the first time that my child got hurt under their care.. First instances are just bite marks and bumps on her legs which they said she got when playing at the playground. No incident report was given to us. They just gave us an incident report when I started emailing the main office.Kids are always dirty and classrooms are so dis-organized. If I can only give 0 star rating I will. Ask around before you enroll your child to this daycare. Wellness and safety of your child must be the number 1 criteria in choosing daycare.

This place is so bad that I resigned from my job in order to avoid paying people to neglect my son.I will start by saying I had a very good impression of Jessica and felt secure enough to have our son enroll here. However she is not the one that cares for the children there and that is where my discomfort lies. While we waited for our tour I watched as an infant was left crying and screaming in a crib (Id put her around my sons age of 4 months) for 7-10 minutes in favor of gathering linens. Not because multiple children were crying and the teachers were comforting others but for linens. Never mind the fact that you can hold a baby and gather linens - not a word was spoken to this child, nor did they receive a comforting touch. It was only my outrage that had Jessica in the classroom giving the baby to the teacher that had been ignoring him/her. While we were in the room that baby found itself back in the crib, eyes glistening with tears as they cried. It took all my willpower not to hold that baby myself. The next day I called to inform Jessica that I would be staying home to care for my son. All she said in response is Thats great! Im so happy for you. She didnt even care to ask why or how they could improve.I have heard bad things about Stepping Stone but thought this campus would be different. It isnt.

There are those times when the impression that is left on you by a business is so tremendous that you have to share; this is one of those times. Stepping Stone is truly one of the biggest blessings in our familys lives. We enrolled our son at the Brodie campus last summer. I will admit that I was over the top with my worry when he was little; my son is my first and only and I worried about leaving him with strangers so much that I came by the school literally three to four times a day the first few weeks that he was enrolled and peeked in the window of his classroom just to check on him. On top of the staff never making me feel like a crazy person for coming in so often (Im sure I seemed like one!), I can honestly say that in the 16 months hes attended Stepping Stone Ive never seen anything to cause alarm. The kids are always clean and happy, the classrooms well-organized and in order. The staff goes above and beyond, also. My son has several severe food allergies and I used to pack and take his meals to school every day for fear that hed come into contact with an allergen. Sweet Ms. Yvonne who runs the kitchen has saved me tons of time in the evenings by taking the time to make him an alternative breakfast or lunch if theres an allergen on the menu that day. And she does so happily and with a smile!I must also say a few words about the teachers. Ms. Lola and Ms. Priscilla in the infant classroom, Ms. Anna and Ms. Abena for the little toddlers, and Ms. Storm and Ms. Katie for the older toddlers have all been amazing. Honestly. I keep expecting to not like the next teacher as much as the one before each time he’s advanced to a new class. No so. I really have adored each of them. I would be remiss to not also mention how wonderful the campus director is. Jessica has addressed every question and concern I have ever had promptly and courteously and has then followed up with me afterwards. She accommodated my very sick child when he had to have breathing treatments three times a day, personally administering the treatments in her office. She checked on him several times a day for a week and reported to me when he had a suspicious rash that wouldnt go away. She has made this worry wart of a mom feel completely at ease leaving my most precious possession in her care every day. I don’t think I’ll ever be able to have her fully understand what that type of care means to me. It’s a sacrifice to put our sweet boy in the care of someone else so my husband and I can pursue our careers. Stepping Stone has made it easy for us do to that. I leave my son there each morning and I am completely confident that he will be safe, well cared for, and happy. I have yet to meet an employee of Stepping Stone who does not seem to truly love and care for those children. You cannot pay someone to love your child; the Stepping Stone staff chooses to give it to those kids and this mommy is very, very thankful. All the stars in the world for this place!

Too bad there isnt an option to give 0 stars. The classes are huge and the children are disgusting, always COVERED in green snot and rashes and just sick as dogs. The school doesnt care. They will never, ever send anyone home. My son went to this location for all of ONE day when me and my husband came to pick him up. I assume the teacher thought he was full time because we peeked in the window when we got there only to hear her repeatedly YELLING at him to GET ON THE MATT (HIS NAME). He was only part time, he didnt need to be on the matt, he doesnt nap there. She was so insanely mean to a poor little 2 year old on his first day.And the best part? The vice principal was in the room too just completely fine with this going on. She has blonde hair, I dont remember her name. The teacher was brunette and white. I got my son out of there and we never, ever went back. This place is absolutely disgusting and appalling. Sending your kid here is akin to child abuse.
