In October 2018, I was looking for a place to grow my newly found gift of Worship Dance. Fire Dance Academy has been such a blessing to me! From the demonstration of choreography to interpreting the dance, my skills have been greatly enhanced. Being a part of a community worship dance team was the bonus of my enrollment. Blessing our local community with the Worship Arts and receiving a blessing also, I couldnt ask for more!

I absolutely love Fire Dance Academy! The owner is anointed to teach, dance, and shift atmospheres. She is very knowledgeable when it comes to the area of dance and the biblical foundations of dance. If you’re looking for somewhere to grow in dance physically and spiritually then this is the place for you. If you’re looking for a leader that has a heart for God and his people then this is the place for you! Fire Dance Academy is certainly the place to come if you are trying to ignite your inner worshipper. Your life will never be the same! I highly recommend this place!

Minister Deweylla pulls the very best out of your gift. She is an incredible woman and I’m excited to see how much I am able to grow in dance. She touches different styles of praise dance and is very big on educating us when it comes to our movements and on our stretches. She is patient and works with all level of dancers. I love being part of this academy and would highly recommend it to other dancers in the Austin area.

I was a member of Fire Dance Academy about 3 years ago. It was one of the best experiences that I have ever had. I lived about 3 hours away and my daughter and I would look forward to coming every Saturday. This was my first time ever being in a dance class, though I had been ministering in dance for years. Minister DeWeylla is highly anointed, and is a GREAT teacher, and she will MOST DEFINITELY give you scripture. She will encourage you, instill confidence in you you, and motivate you to walk out the Call that GOD has on your life. (IT IS MORE THAN JUST DANCE!) I wasnt able to continue to drive 3 hours for class due to my schedule and my daughter having Little Dribbler basketball games on Saturdays....BUT THANK GOD FOR THE INTERNET!!! I am STILL able to participate in specialized dance training, access info/resources that I need through videos, receive encouragement, and prayer. I just LOVE Minister DeWeylla and my sisters and brothers at Fire Dance Academy, Even though I dont travel there, I will be a member and a Sister for life. (I may drop in one of these days.) She truly has a HEART for GOD and HIS people.

It’s has been the best dance Acdemy ever fire dance Academy has helped me grow mentally, physically and spiritually in my life and in dance. They have helped me get through some pretty hard times in my life the last three years and has also been there for the best part of my life welcoming my baby girl to the world the love and support you get being in fire dance Academy is like none other.

I love attending Fire Dance Academy!! It has definitely helped me grow in my relationship with God. Minister Deweylla and Minister Denise have really helped me grow with my self praise and worship as well. 🙏🏽♥️♥️

I love Fire Dance Academy!!! The instructor, Deweylla has excellent dance skills and teaches technique as well different dance genre. She is anointed and teaches with excellence. I highly recommend this place!!

I was blessed to be apart of Fire Dance Academy (FDA) for a little over a year. Deweylla is an amazing dance leader. She was very encouraging and instilled more confidence in me and confidence in my dance. Being apart of FDA expanded my dance language and helped me to come out of my box more. I learned more about the significance of different dance moves and colors that I did not know before. When I looked back at one of the first dances we ministered I saw so much growth in myself. I never thought that I could grow so much coming from a dance background that only did sign language. I love that Deweylla encouraged each dancer where they were but also challenged them to do more. I also loved that we talked about the Word of God. We didnt just come in and dance. We prayed and spent time in the presence of the Lord before starting each class. The Fire Academy is a great place for all ages. I have two daughters that attend there and they love it .They learn How to Praise dance and Praise and worship, Minister Dewella is amazing she teaches the girls alot and they look forward weekly to attending I am grateful for Minister Dewellas 🙏 anointing.
