When you find something you love, it never feels like work. Our daughter has been dancing at Dancers Workshop since 2016 after our first dance program ended. She has loved dance from the minute she first put on those teeny tiny ballet shoes. Every single teacher has strengthened her passion by instilling education, love, grace, confidence, independence and of course, dance technique and skill. From participating in the annual Nutcracker to competing with her dance team, the values of hard work, team work and friendship shine through on and off the stage. Sarah Smith, Gabbi Melton, Julia Dzubinski and Kristi Pearce have gone above and beyond to make sure the lessons learned in each dance class transfer into everyday life too. We are lucky to be a part of such a special studio.

I just called to cancel my daughters summer’s week due to the high rise of covid cases in Texas and the contagion I heard had happened at this studio. I explained this to the director, or at least I thought I did, and she offered to give me credit for just a certain amount of what I payed. She also explained that it would only be valid for 90 days. When I tried to explain her, again, that we where trying to limit our exposure due to the risen covid cases her comment was something like “I don’t know what to tell you, tu are limiting exposure but enrolled her in a ballet class”.It felt rude, unnecessary and out of place. I would’ve be ok if we lost the whole thing. I would’ve have gladly brought my child and her sister for ballet clases there once they where vaccinated but after that I just feel that I don’t want my girls in a place like that and maybe there is a lesson in all these. If you are getting any class here beware… there is no refunds or exchanges no matter the circumstances and the options they give are of little help.

Our daughter has taken lessons here since she was 3 years old and has fallen in love with dance. I credit her love for dance to her earliest teachers, especially Robyn Riojas, whose love and enthusiasm for dance spills over to her students in every class --- and Ill never forget her first recital in a pink tutu spinning like a baby ballerina on stage. She is now 10 and has joined the Creative Culture Dance Company (CCDC) and her skills and confidence have blossomed. The directors, Sarah Smith and Gabby Melton, make every dancer feel special -- their faces light up each day when my daughter arrives for class and because of that she never tires of practice and rehearsal. Through them she has become a beautiful dancer -- but she has also learned the value of hard work, commitment and being a part of a team. We will be here taking dance until she graduates, but I already know the lessons she is learning will take her much past her high school days. Thank you Dancers Workshop for all you do to make your studio about more than just being a good dancer but about so much more...

A beautiful studio where our daughter not only learned the art of dance and gained the foundation she needed for sucess as she dances in college, but where she also learned how to be a gracious woman, confident in herself, respectful of her teachers, and supportive and kind to her fellow dancers. Our daughter took classes and danced competitively and with the pre-professional company at the studio for over 10 years. The staff at Dancers Workshop is absolutely the best around!
