Professional, patient and kind :) Ada has been an inspiration with her commitment throughout this pandemic lifestyle. Ive been taking her virtual classes (ballet and stretch) which are tailored to your own needs and level of skills. Once you complete a session/class, you will feel exhausted but happy, knowing youve accomplished a beautiful practice :)

Our daughter’s being taking classes at DANZA for for years now. We love the tight knit community and it’s been so awesome seeing our daughter benefit from all the positive things that a discipline like ballet teaches a young child. Ms. Marquez is such a positive influence in her life and we just love her. She has a different teacher this year for ballet and contemporary dance and we love her too. I highly recommend this school.

I am so glad I found this studio! I tried emailing and calling 3 other places before reaching out to them. Danza was the only one who actually answered or called me back. My Daughter started here in March of 2018 and has not missed a single day of class yet. I am so proud of the growth Ive seen in her and am so grateful for the structure and attention provided here. Ms Marcus and her staff are such a treasure and a blessing to have in our lives. Thank you for everything you do! Please dont ever change! We love you!

Ada is so mindful of the different levels of all of her students and presents such a positive energy, even through the screen.I already cant wait for the next class. I highly recommend it!!

We tried several ballet schools for our 9 year old daughter in 2019 before Danza, but Danza stood a class apart. They teach classical ballet in the true sense. Ms. Marquez is a well qualified and accomplished dancer and really knows the art of teaching the kids. When we went to virtual learning last year during Covid lockdown, we got to see her teaching style on the computer during the dance classes. She is really dedicated teacher, perfectionist and pays so much attention to minute details in the techniques of each individual and corrects them even during virtual lessons. From time to time, she invites guest teachers from famous ballet schools to teach a special session and that motivates our daughter a lot. As a result, our daughter got accepted for summer intensive program at American Ballet Theatre (ABT) in New York. The amount of personal time and effort put in by Ms. Marquez to prepare for the audition for this program was just amazing. I feel this school is worth a good investment in terms of our daughters time and effort as the returns are much higher than expected.

Im so glad I found DANZAs virtual classes!Ive been out of the studio for years and this has been such a great opportunity to jump back in. Ada and her staff are communicative and respond quickly to questions. The classes have been a nice end to my evening-- I feel challenged enough but not pushed over the edge to where its frustrating. (Which is nice for someone who isnt used to taking classes regularly.) Ada provides thoughtful feedback tailored to each student and shes definately a cheerleader for everyone during classes. The quality of instruction and welcoming atmosphere is something I havent found in many studios, but DANZA definately cultivates a positive learning environment for everyone from beginner to advanced. If youre looking to start your ballet journey or rejoin a class, this is the place to go.

DANZA has been a saving grace for me this year. With the pandemic it was difficult to find any form of exercise where I felt safe. I used to dance ballet and I missed it so much, but all the local studios were closed. I found DANZA and discovered that not only do they offer virtual classes, but virtual classes for adults who may be rusty!Ada is an amazing teacher and is great at providing instruction during this virtual environment. I love that I can take class with her all the way in El Paso, TX! I have recommended her classes to all my old ballet peeps! If you miss dancing or want to learn classical ballet, I highly recommend DANZA!

Love love love!! I could not have wished for a better first experience when coming into this studio. The owner was incredibly helpful and made sure I had all the information I needed and made me feel comfortable in preparing for my class. I attended the adult ballet class and felt very welcomed by both the teacher and the other ladies. They helped push me to keep trying, and Ada was prepared and very patient in explaining and demonstrating the combinations, which I appreciated very much. Later in the week I attended the Yoga class they offer, which was a completely new experience for me because I had never taken yoga before and the instructor was the nicest guy! I am definitely going to take both these classes again. I am so happy I went out and gave this studio a shot! I would definitely recommend it to anyone who is interested in trying a dance class or want their daughters to come in and learn about ballet or just movement in general, you wont regret it!

This is one of my favorite dance studios in North Austin. It feels brand new and super clean. Even though its primarily a Ballet studio, I have also taken a few Kizomba and Salsa workshops. My favorite class was the beginner adult ballet which was super fun. Ada, the studio owner, is a very passionate instructor and it came through in her classes. I walked away with an appreciation for ballet and some good habits that transfer to other dance styles.

My first review exceeds the character limit!!! that is how much I have to say about Danze. OK, here is a shorter version:When I signed up my girls to Danza, I was very skeptical. We have been to 3 dance schools, and I knew what to expect. But, Danza surprised me in the most positive way!1. Passion: Ada is a professional ballet dancer herself, and you can tell her heart is still on the stage. Her passion for ballet made Danza so much better. The kids there knows they are there to dance, not to kill time. and they know dance is not just another enrichment class. they learn the passion and learn hardworking. to me, this is the #1 thing I want my kids to learn. are they going to be a professional dancer? I doubt it, but if they want to, Danza get them ready from inside and out. if they dont want to be professional dancer, this experience will teach them passion and hard work is the key to success. Adas passion of ballet is filled into everything in the school. She has high expectation on students performance, and when the student showed improvements, she cheered with them as if she was a student dancer herself. This kind of spiritual support encouraged the student to their full potential. When you are in this school, you know Danza is not just there to make profit, they are teaching dance!2. Quality is their highest priority: the school is small for now. one studio only. Can Danza expand already? Yes. When I spoke to Ada, her concern around expanding is the quality of teaching. If she cant find a teacher as devoted as she is, and as good as she is, she would not expand even if it means more money for her. This is the kind of teacher I wish I had.3. Diversity: Ada teaches most of the class by herself. but she also bringing in different teachers to school to give the students a broader view of ballet and dance, including belly dance, musical theater, contemporary dance etc. etc.5. students: the students there ranges from little pre-schooler to adult. they all somehow get along super well, like a big family. I think Ada did a great job keeping all of them focused on dance, not on other stuff. Some students are very talented, some are not. but the not-so-talented students never showed the disappointment, and still going strong. that is another reason I like this school: dont give up on your passion.6. Cost: if you have been to any dance school, you know there would be a recital and you will have to pay $90 to $160 minimum for it. because most of the school will just charge the parents for the cost. But not at Danza. Ada has this mind set on how to save money for the parents. She put in lots of time to find the perfect location and the best costume, and not cost more than $20 per person. I was impressed.7. camps: I have seen many camps, crafts=coloring page, sports=running wild... but not at Danzas camp. Danza camp operates like this: students will have a theme, a movie. students will learn about the story line and make a show out of it. the show includes all sort of dances and singing. Students will make the props for the show, that is what crafts are for. for instance, Aladdin, they made the lamp as part of the show, and did belly dance. the last day of the camp, the students will put on a show for the parents. I was blown away by their 5 days prepared show, and how talented the kids are. no wonder they were voted best camp in town.8. small things: small things count.- for working parents, when we have to carpool, Ada would help to find carpool groups and try very hard to keep the group together. That is why every school year, she had to spend a long time to rearrange classes.- Ada hosts parent’s appreciation day, there would be some professionally baked cookies coffee or tea. I felt like a nice ballet mom, not someone just paid the bill. Nobody ever asked her to do that. but she does, because she cares.- school is super clean!!!I love this dance school!

My 7-year-old is taking her first ballet lessons here, and I have to say I am very pleasantly surprised. Not only in her dancing but at school too! She was getting distracted a lot in class, and taking ballet has really improved her behavior and has kept her more focused. I am so proud to see her trying hard at something she likes and seeing her do the same at school. It really has made a big difference, and I cant be more grateful.

I never thought I would ever try yoga, but on my last trip to Austin, my wife encouraged me to try it, and I must say, it was very invigorating. I enjoyed it very much! I would definitely try it again, next time Im in the area. I think that its a very helpful thing to do for someone over 60, because as we age, we tend to loose flexibility.Im glad that I tried it at Danza, as everyone there was very friendly, and made me feel very comfortable. Im so happy I found this place! Ive been wanting to sign up for adult ballet classes for a long time. I tried a class at another studio in Austin and didnt get a good vibe from the other students or the instructor. After searching far and wide, I came across Danza! I called the studio and talked to Gabby, the studio manager. She was excited to hear that I was interested in learning ballet as an adult and shared a ton of info with me about all the adult classes the studio offers. After taking my first class, I was hooked! I signed up for both the adult ballet and ballet sculpt classes. Ada, the instructor, is amazing! Her passion for ballet (and dance) shows! She really takes the time to make sure every single student in the class has the proper form. And she works with you until you get it right. I cant wait to continue my dance journey at Danza!

I came to Danza for the pre Grand Opening early January and have been going ever since they have opened for weekly Yoga. To be completely honest I was never big into yoga nor did I care for it. I was refereed to the grand opening from a friend. To be honest I never tried yoga because I was always worried I would being judged due to not being very flexible. My expectations had been blown out of the water. The atmosphere was very chill, everyone was extremely friendly, and by the end of it I was stuck in a relaxing mood.Jeremy, the yoga instructor does a wonderful job explaining each pose and its benefits. My favorite part of his classes are the metaphors for each pose and the relaxing music in the background. He truly does a superb job. The first few classes I was a bit nervous but the poses I practiced in class were simple and yet I still felt like I was getting a good work out. After just a few weeks I noticed I am more flexible and i have a bit more energy. The class is every Friday and as a car Salesman its the perfect way to ending a stressful week. I have been going every week ever since my first experience and I will continue going.

Lets face it: men, especially military guys like me, normally dont start taking ballet as adults. I never thought ballet would help me physically, but now that Ive taken classes for 7 months I can definitively say that its absolutely helped me get stronger, faster and more flexible. Its helped improved my jiu jitsu too, so thats what brings me back for more. My classmates are all adults who have their own reasons for taking ballet, and the mix makes it so much fun. Everyone has an awesome time. The studio is bright, clean and welcoming. Ada, the owner and the primary instructor for ballet, laser focuses on proper technique, which is good. Gabby keeps things running smoothly as the manager, and Emilia manages the front desk. These are the welcoming faces I see every time I walk in. Danza offers so much more than ballet, and when my schedule allows I make time for the myriad of other classes they have. I would definitely recommend this studio.

We cant say enough great things about Danza Center! Our daughters have been taking ballet classes at Danza since October 2016 and they really LOVE IT. We have seen them grow as dancers - their movements, postures, expressions, discipline. Overall they always have fun and they leave the class happy... as parents, that means the world. All the staff is very friendly, helpful, and professional... especially Gaby who is very kind and always welcome us with a beautiful smile. Ms. Marquez has an excellent tact with the children, she pays attention to detail, and encourages her students to do their best every class - you can tell that ballet is her passion. Another thing that we like is that sometimes she schedules one on one meetings with parents to talk about the progress of the kids, and allow us to see a regular class. We are very fortunate to have found a school with a big HEART and we cant wait for our little one to reach 3 years so she can start classes! We highly recommend Danza Center!

I have been taking a ballet barre class for the past couple of months at DANZA. I am honestly amazed and feel so grateful that I found Adas DANZA center! I am so stoked-seriously! :) I have taken other adult ballet classes but have never found someone so passionate, kind, interactive, and involved as Ada. She is so passionate about what she does and is so passionate on teaching kids, teenagers, and adults. Ive had trouble finding a good teacher for adult ballet as most dance instructors only teach kids. And those who do teach ballet to adults dont really take it to seriously or are too advanced and you just have to play catch up and figure it out-and not to mention the amount of money they charge for those workshops. If youre wanting to be a part of this dance community, be ready to learn, work hard, but most important of all have fun! She loves to teach beginners-and I love that!!! She really wants you to get it, get the foundation, and enjoy it just as much as she has majority of her life. Ada is very kind and is teaching us about the discipline in dance and ballet. If you dont want to take a class that has some discipline then you might want to mention that to the dance instructor because she goes above and beyond to teach you with a very kind heart. So dont be afraid if youre a beginner, before you know it, youll be looking like a pro ;) Im also super interested in taking their Bollywood class which I have no doubt is just as good! Best of luck!
